In another classroom, Luo Junxiang was teaching Jiang ngqi’s group.
After the group finished their dance, Luo Junxiang was pleasantly surprised.
"Wu Qian, don’t smile so sweetly. This song is supposed to be cool. Smile like this." Luo Junxiang demonstrated a bizarre smile.
Instead of being scared, everyone found it amusing.
"Teacher, how is my expression managent?" Su Ruiqi asked.
By now, many girls who originally focused solely on singing and dancing competitions were actively trying to secure screen ti for themselves.
"Yours is great, it fits the song nicely—it looks a bit intimidating." Luo Junxiang jokingly made a hiding gesture.
"Actually, all of us look quite cute on the outside." Jiang ngqi believed that for this song, they needed to appear cute.
"Oh really? Are you saying you’re leaning toward cuteness yourself?"
Luo Junxiang’s exaggerated reaction triggered bursts of laughter, and from Wang Miaomiao’s group, soone shouted, "All the cute girls are here with us!"
This left Jiang ngqi feeling a bit embarrassed.
In truth, by this point in the show, each ntor had their own defined role.
Long Zitao: As the program’s initiator, his role was essentially to represent the production team and maintain the show’s pacing.
Thus, he appeared strict during public monts but was quite considerate of the trainees in private.
Tian Jiaxuan: Both a role model for the girls’ hard work and a strict ntor.
At tis, male ntors couldn’t say certain things to these girls, making Tian Jiaxuan’s role indispensable.
She could use her identity as a woman to say "tough" things and keep these usually defiant girls in check.
At the sa ti, she could also listen to their thoughts from the perspective of a fellow woman.
Luo Junxiang: The fun factor.
Whenever he was around, the show never felt dull, and everything seed much livelier. Plus, his singing and dancing skills were no joke. His understanding of dance and stage experience were sufficient to teach most of the trainees here.
However, he had to ensure the humor stayed within the bounds of appropriateness.
Zhang Wei: The gentle and refined vocal coach.
Zhang Wei’s teaching was highly professional. As a university professor, he brought excellent teaching thods, effectively imparting knowledge to his students.
Many students benefited greatly under his guidance.
In fact, if the students truly admired anyone from the bottom of their hearts, it was him.
Hu Binbin: The compassionate composition ntor.
His expertise was top-notch as well, though his teaching thod relied more on prompting the trainees to find their own breakthroughs.
He often shared personal life philosophies with them.
He also had an earnest attitude toward his craft.
"We actually hope to create sothing with contrasting vibes—like cuteness paired with its opposite." Jiang ngqi explained sincerely.
"Great, then practice it again. Let see." Luo Junxiang said earnestly.
Jiang ngqi and her group danced twice more, each ti giving it their all.
The girls’ foreheads were dotted with beads of sweat, yet none of them slacked off because of it.
"Actually, what you’re performing is pure dance."
"At the start, you could close your eyes. Then, when the first beat hits, abruptly widen your eyes and open your mouth."
As Luo Junxiang spoke, he demonstrated the idea himself, envisioning European marionettes he had seen before.
"Teacher, wouldn’t that look like sothing out of a horror movie?" Su Ruiqi asked worriedly.
Luo Junxiang couldn’t help but laugh—this girl was sharp and had guessed his intentions.
"The production team doesn’t want us to change the choreography. They want us to act like Barbie dolls coming out of a gift box," Xiang Sixing chid in, mimicking a doll-like head tilt for emphasis.
"That motion you just did looked great, like a discarded doll—one abandoned by its owner." Watching her, inspiration sparked in Luo Junxiang’s mind.
Xiang Sixing’s makeup was beautiful but also carried a stiff, eerie undertone.
Her hair was jet-black, sleek, and styled in pigtails. Her complexion was pale, and with her wide-open eyes and fake smile, she truly looked a bit frightening.
"You all did well today. Have you been practicing for a long ti?" Luo Junxiang asked curiously, glancing toward the caraman.
"Because we never had the chance to be seen," Jiang ngqi responded with a faint bitterness in her voice, hinting at sothing deeper.
Of course, Luo Junxiang understood the subtext of her words.
Typically, the ntors tended to focus more on the popular trainees.
The sa applied to the audience—they only noticed the girls with high visibility.
In this classroom, only Wang Miaomiao seed to have decent popularity, leaving the others to share in a collective sense of obscurity.
So of them nearly teared up.
It wasn’t that these girls were prone to tears or weak. It was simply that, in this environnt, tears naturally flowed.
But Jiang ngqi quickly regained her composure.
"We’ve all been working very hard, and we’re pretty capable too,"
"It’s just that none of us have been noticed."
At that mont, Jiang ngqi spoke like a motivational speaker. Her words were deeply moving.
"I noticed," Luo Junxiang said, his eyes glowing as he looked at this Rainbow-like girl.
"Thank you, Teacher. We’re so happy." The girls bead with joy.
In reality, they were fortunate—out of over 40 contestants, they had made it this far, and nearly everyone left now had decent screen ti.
Lv Fangxin’s Group
After enduring all sorts of hardships, her group finally managed to finish writing the lyrics.
Lv Fangxin, following Ye Yuwei’s guidance, gave ii her full backing for this piece of composition.
As expected, Liu and Chen also expressed their support for ii.
Although Lu and Lu had different ideas, they were thoroughly held back by Lv Fangxin.
With Hu Binbin’s stance backing her, Lv Fangxin spoke with newfound assertiveness.
"We’ve compiled the lyrics. Everyone contributed sothing," ii said as she handed the lyrics notebook to Hu Binbin.
"Did the writing process go smoothly this ti?" Hu Binbin asked as he read through the lyrics.
"Very smoothly. This ti we used a backing track, and everyone focused on writing their most brilliant lines. Rhys and so on were mostly consistent."
Listening to her explanation, Hu Binbin nodded repeatedly before reading aloud the lyrics:
Rebellious girls always have fun
They love to sway boldly and run
Rebellious girls don’t need to obey
Their demands are not what others say
...
"Fantastic. These lyrics are full of personality—they capture the youth and recklessness of girls perfectly."
Hu Binbin’s praise brought smiles to the previously frowning faces of the girls.
"Teacher, I also wrote a few lines, but I couldn’t fit them in," Lv Fangxin said timidly as she took out her notebook.
This was her first ti advocating for herself within the group.
Hu Binbin took her notebook and read:
"Though life has been full of trials,"
"I refuse to smooth my edges or conform to the mundane aisles."
"Youth is ant to be fearless."
...
Lv Fangxin shyly added, "I just wrote to make it rhy."
Seeing her friend’s diffidence, Chen Yihan teased, "It’s super rhyy."
Lv Fangxin imdiately brightened up with a laugh.
"This sounds like a bureaucratic conclusion!" Hu Binbin teased, shattering her confidence as the others laughed along.
"These lyrics are very direct. Lyrics should be more subtle—indirect."
"This way, anyone listening to the song can reflect on their own experiences."
Hu Binbin looked at her seriously.
Lv Fangxin nodded earnestly. She could sense his sincerity.
Next ca the group’s collaborative rehearsals.
Ye Yuwei’s group, although they finalized their lyrics early on, still appeared a bit overwheld.
Their state wasn’t great, and mistakes like forgetting lyrics or mixing them up kept happening.
