After getting off the airplane, Jane Sampson and Jas Carter, along with a few others, went directly to the film crew’s hotel to check in.
Both of them had booked morning flights. Being relatively less busy mbers of the film crew, they arrived a day earlier to avoid a hectic schedule.
Jane Sampson’s room was right next to Jas Carter’s. After Coco Edwards and Harry Little Money put their luggage away, they headed to Jane Sampson’s room to discuss plans for the afternoon al.
Upon entering, they saw Jane Sampson lying motionless on the bed, unwilling to move, so Coco Edwards pushed Jane Sampson’s suitcase, left by the side, to the cloakroom while disdainfully remarking, "You’re just hopelessly lazy."
"Tired," Jane Sampson yawned.
Perhaps because she’d be busy for several days once she ca out, Jas Black had been especially eager to make the most of it last night, keeping her busy several tis.
When Jane Sampson got up in the morning, she could only vent her annoyance by kicking Jas Black a few tis.
When Jas Black took her to the airport, he put a milk candy in her mouth, and only then did she stop grumbling at him.
"Coco, you and Grid are in the honeymoon period now. He must be especially unwilling to part with you now that you’re out here, right?" Jane Sampson sat up and gossiped with Coco Edwards.
At least that’s how Jas Black is.
Jas Black wishes he could see her every day.
Speaking of which, she and Jas Black could also be considered in a honeymoon period.
It’s just that, unlike Coco, who fell in love first and then got married, she and Jas Black did it the other way around—married first, then fell in love.
So every ti Jas Black has a black face, he does it with full confidence, wishing Jane Sampson would be like other won in love, with nothing but a love-struck brain, sticking to him 24 hours a day.
"It’s fine. This is work. He understands," Coco Edwards said about her boyfriend, smiling sweetly.
"I heard Grid resigned from his original company?" Jane Sampson asked, "Did he tell you about his plans afterward?"
"Yes, he quit. He discussed with before resigning. He said that now that he’s with , he’s not just a lone person anymore. Being a bodyguard is inherently riskier than most jobs. Plus, if he didn’t resign, with being busy and him being busy, we wouldn’t see each other often, and we’d be separated in two places, even missing holidays and festivals together."
Coco Edwards said, "I think what he said makes sense, so I didn’t oppose his resignation. Besides, he’s not getting any younger. In the bodyguard industry, honestly, there are only a few years he can continue. He said he wants to start a small business, find sothing more flexible, so if anything personal cos up, he can be more available."
Grid is used to the bodyguard industry, and shifting out of that, he could beco a security guard.
However, the salary for security guards is not particularly high.
If he were alone, earning a security guard’s salary, combined with his earlier savings from his years as a bodyguard, he could barely get by for a lifeti.
But now that he’s in love, with a girl he likes, considering marriage and starting a family, Grid clearly realizes that as a man, as a boyfriend, and a future husband and daddy, he needs to replan his future.
"Grid is a good man," Jane Sampson looked at Coco Edwards, complinting her, "He’s responsible, mature in thinking, and with a steady character."
