When Lu Moqing and his wife arrived at the island, Qiao Xu glanced at Gu Junhang without a sound, seeing that he appeared indifferent, as if he didn’t care about Xia Yumo at all. Qiao Xu’s emotions gradually beca more complicated.
After thinking about it, she finally said to Gu Junhang, "Don’t bla Mo Mo for being ruthless. She didn’t really want to abort the child, but fate decreed otherwise, and she had no choice."

He didn’t look at Qiao Xu but instead kept staring at the lake, watching the ripples caused by his trembling hand and chuckling at the irony.
"Destiny..."
He looked at the center of the water and murmured these two words, as if he found Qiao Xu’s remark sowhat amusing, and he laughed out loud.
"Do you all like to bla fate for the cruel things you’ve done?"
He held the fishing rod completely still. If it weren’t for him speaking, Gu Junhang at this mont would have looked more like a statue sitting in the middle of the water.
Qiao Xu furrowed her eyebrows, finding Gu Junhang’s words sowhat unreasonable.
After all, could they have really expected Mo Mo to risk her life, and the child’s, by carrying it to term, knowing that it could be fatal?
If Gu Junhang were really selfish enough to think that way, then it would be better for Mo Mo to part with him sooner rather than later.
But this thought was quickly dismissed by Qiao Xu.
Gu Junhang’s love for Mo Mo was obviously deep, so if he knew that Mo Mo was ill and had aborted the child out of necessity, he shouldn’t have this reaction.
With this in mind, she looked at Lu Moqing and said, "Didn’t you tell him why Mo Mo had to have an abortion?"
Seeing the bla in his wife’s eyes, Lu Moqing imdiately sensed trouble.
"He said he didn’t want to know."
He quickly defended himself, afraid of the consequences, but still saw the bottom of his wife’s eyes narrowing dangerously.
"So you didn’t tell him?"
Lu Moqing touched the tip of his nose with a sowhat guilty expression.
But considering the ridiculous plastic brotherhood between him and Gu Junhang, he made the resolute decision to prioritize his own survival.
So he acted frivolously and put his arm around his wife’s waist, acting like a good boy, saying,

Qiao Xu was caught by Lu Moqing’s question, but imdiately said, "Whether we interfere or not is one thing, but we can’t just let Mo Mo be misunderstood, can we? As if she’s done sothing unforgivable."
Obviously, Qiao Xu’s latter half of the sentence was intended for Gu Junhang’s ears.
Gu Junhang wasn’t stupid, but he could hear the oddities in the couple’s conversation.
He thought of the day in the tea house when Lu Moqing suddenly asked if he wanted to know why Xia Yumo had the abortion.
At the ti, he was angry at Xia Yumo for aborting the child without saying a word, so he refused out of pride.
But now, it seed that perhaps Xia Yumo really had a reason to abort the child, not just because she didn’t want a burden, as she had said on the airplane.
