Again, eight years ago?
Qiao Xu frowned. Lu Moqing ntioned sothing about eight years ago to her more than once, and now Gu Junhang brought it up as well.
She rembered that day when Lu Moqing angrily took her to Jinyun Hotel, and their inexplicable conversation. She felt sothing was off at that ti.
But her mind was fully occupied by Lu Moqing’s attempt to take Qiao Yi’s custody, so she didn’t think too much about it.
Now that Gu Junhang ntioned it again, Qiao Xu felt that there might be sothing she didn’t know about.
"What happened eight years ago?"
She looked at Gu Junhang, suppressing the strange feeling in her heart, and asked.

"Xuxu..."
Xia Yumo saw that Qiao Xu’s face was a bit off, she glanced at Gu Junhang fiercely, took advantage of his loosened grip, and shook him off, walking to Qiao Xu’s side.
"Are you alright, Xuxu?"
"I’m fine, just let sort things out."
She walked towards the elevator entrance with unsteady steps. Xia Yumo was about to follow her but got held back by Gu Junhang.
"What are you doing?"
"Let her figure it out on her own. In this situation, no one can help her but herself."
Xia Yumo glared at Gu Junhang fiercely, and couldn’t help but ask, "Is Lu Moqing a pig? How could he treat Xuxu like that? Can’t he see how much she cares for him? He claims that he has no feelings for that illegitimate daughter, yet he just believes whatever people say?"
Facing Xia Yumo’s questioning, Gu Junhang didn’t know how to reply. He pinched the bridge of his nose and said, "Things aren’t as simple as you think."
"Alright then, tell , how complicated is it?"
Xia Yumo asked with a cold face, and Gu Junhang choked on her question and remained silent.
