Nan Xiang eagerly sat at the head of Mada Chu’s seat.
Lu Xinyou was pulled by Chu Ci to sit on the right side of Mada Chu.
Mahjong is not difficult to learn, especially for children from top student families like Lu Xinyou. After only one round, she already understood the rules of mahjong.
Therefore, as she observed, Lu Xinyou vaguely noticed that Nan Xiang, who was sitting at the head of Mada Chu’s seat, had deliberately let Mada Chu win a few tis.
If she could see it, the other two mahjong experts couldn’t possibly miss it.
One of the rich wives, after losing a whole ga, dumped the mahjong pieces and said with a slightly annoyed expression:
"I don’t want to play anymore, I always lose."
She glanced at the smiling Mada Chu and said unhappily:
"You’ve chosen a good seat."
It wasn’t that she couldn’t afford to lose, or that she was really angry at Mada Chu, she just couldn’t stand Nan Xiang’s way of flattery.
On the surface, she was mocking Mada Chu, but in reality, she was obviously being sarcastic towards Nan Xiang.
Nan Xiang was a slick person, so how could she not understand?
But she put on an innocent appearance and apologized:
"It’s all my fault, I didn’t play well, Auntie please don’t be angry."
She looked sowhat embarrassed at Mada Chu, her apology had two anings.
First, she had to perform well in front of everyone. Since she caused soone to lose, she had to apologize sincerely.
But more importantly, she wanted Mada Chu to know that the reason why Mada Chu kept winning was because she deliberately let her win.
Of course, Mada Chu could hear and see it during the ga.
This young girl was not only skilled but too skilled.
So, she feigned ignorance when letting the cards drop, making people think she wasn’t good at playing and that’s why she let Mada Chu win every ti.
In fact, for wealthy people at their level, who really cares about how much money they win or lose, it’s all about the process of playing the ga.
Although she didn’t say anything openly, she was sowhat unhappy with Nan Xiang’s behavior in her heart.
But she couldn’t be bothered to argue with a child, so she could only smile and comfort the angry rich wife from before:
"Alright, alright, I’ll let you win next ti, don’t be angry."
The rich wife wasn’t really angry either, she just found Nan Xiang’s behavior very repulsive.
There are many ways to ingratiate oneself with the elders, but she found this kind of competition particularly distasteful.
"That’s more like it."
The rich wife snorted arrogantly, was about to sit down and shuffle the cards when her mobile phone rang.
"My old man is calling, excuse ."
After answering the phone, the rich wife said to Mada Chu:
"My husband wants to go fishing with him, you all have fun."
"Tsk tsk, still showing off your love at this age, go ahead."
Mada Chu joked, sighed after the wealthy wife left, and said:
"It hasn’t been long, and we’re already one person short."
She looked at Lu Xinyou who had been learning for a while, with a kind smile on her face-
"Youyou, have you learned it?"
"I’ve learned the rules, but I’m not good at it yet, I’m afraid I might hold everyone back."
Lu Xinyou replied truthfully.
"It’s okay, sit down and play a few rounds with us, think of it as practicing your skills."
Mada Chu smiled and said.
Since Mada Chu had said so, Lu Xinyou didn’t refuse and went to sit in the seat previously occupied by the rich wife.
Nan Xiang glanced at Lu Xinyou, but ultimately didn’t dare to show her dissatisfaction.
After the four of them had arranged their mahjong tiles, they proceeded to the next round.
