When he found out that the bankruptcy of Xinma Corporation was actually related to his nephew, Xue Guochong was so angry that he nearly stord into the Gu Family’s house and tore off the roof.

Gu Junhang’s face was smiling, but the bottom of his eyes was filled with endless danger.
Xue Guochong’s face twitched severely in response to Gu Junhang’s counter-question.
This nephew was really sothing, not giving him any face at all, saying whatever he wanted.
As he stared at Gu Junhang’s half-smiling lips, anger boiled inside him, but he could only force himself to put on a dry smile.
"Junhang, yes, you’re right. Your uncle cannot simply take advantage without taking responsibility."
With Xinma’s bankruptcy, it was impossible to rely on Gu Junhang’s power to revive it. Xue Guochong figured it was better to not argue about that and instead focus on keeping the Xue Family’s headquarters afloat.

Gu Junhang looked at his tense smiling face, seemingly considering his request.

Now that the issue on their minds was resolved, the family of three in the Xue household felt relieved. Xue Yishan, who was daydreaming about a wealthy life, felt like she was a few steps closer to that dream.
She thought the glass slipper in her hand was already prepared, just waiting for a prince to put it on her foot.
With these thoughts in mind, she couldn’t help but snuggle closer to Xia Yumo.
Xia Yumo frowned slightly in repulsion, giving her a thoughtful glance.
Was Xue Yishan rely trying to please her for the sake of the Xue Family, or did she have other intentions?
