Lu Moqing parked the car on the side of the road, turned around to look at Qiao Xu, and said solemnly, "Qiao Xu, I asked people to remove the trending search about Qiao Yi, not because I wanted to tell people he’s not my son, but to prevent it from affecting your lives. Qiao Yi will always be my son, and that will never change. You either give up on the idea of divorce and co ho with , or you can fight for child custody of Qiao Yi."

His gaze grew darker, "It’s your choice."

Qiao Xu laughed in anger again. Lu Moqing has always been so arrogant and condescending, thinking that everything should go his way.

"Lu Moqing, what do you want to do?"

"Wasn’t what I said clear enough?"

Lu Moqing frowned at her, his eyes deep and serious.

Qiao Xu stared at him coldly for a long ti and said, "Lu Moqing, I want a divorce, and I want my son too. You want to fight? Let’s fight."

After saying that, she angrily opened the car door and got out. She’d only taken a few steps when her high-heeled shoe stepped on a rock, causing her foot to twist and her face to turn pale in pain.

Lu Moqing was also angered by what Qiao Xu just said. He was about to drive away when he saw her struggling to walk on the roadside in the rearview mirror.

Lu Moqing’s eyes imdiately darkened as he got out of the car and strode towards her.

Qiao Xu thought Lu Moqing was born to hurt her. That’s why they never had a good ti together.

Now, after being in his car, she twisted her ankle just by walking.

Not only was her ankle in pain, but she was also furious.

"Lu Moqing, you bastard!"

She gritted her teeth and couldn’t help but swear out loud. From pain, beads of sweat began to form on her forehead.

Intent on finding a taxi to take her ho, she found herself with a tightened frown due to the waves of pain surging from her injured ankle.

The next second, she suddenly felt light as soone lifted her horizontally from behind. She instinctively fought back, only to see Lu Moqing’s deep gaze staring at her with slight discontent.

Seeing him, Qiao Xu’s anger intensified. For a while, she forgot she was being held by Lu Moqing in the middle of the road.

"Lu Moqing..."

"The last ti you cursed like this was also after I saved you," said Lu Moqing, interrupting Qiao Xu. His deep eyes were dark and unreadable. "Wife, your way of treating a lifesaver is truly unique. However..."

Lu Moqing curled his lips, "such an approach is not appealing."

Qiao Xu laughed out of anger, "I wasn’t trying to please President Lu."

After saying that, she tried to leave but only realized she was being held by Lu Moqing on the street. Rembering how Qiao Yi’s photos were posted online, she glared at Lu Moqing, her voice cold, "Put down."

"Do you want to drag your leg all the way to the hospital?" asked Lu Moqing, unmoved and holding her tightly.

Qiao Xu gritted her teeth in anger, "That’s better than drawing attention while with President Lu."

As she spoke, she struggled a few more tis. However, Lu Moqing calmly watched her before suddenly laughing wickedly, which gave Qiao Xu a bad feeling.

"That’s not a bad idea. Actually, the magazine’s office is right across the street. If you make a scene, the reporters will definitely notice."
