Chapter 41 - Truth draws closer
After a long argunt and a few threats by Tang Liwei, her grandfather succeeded in taking her to her apartnt and put her to complete bed rest. When Jing Lihua sneakily called i Xiu to bring her so files to review, she was caught by her grandfather. He strictly forbade i Xiu from bringing her anything work-related. Jing Lihua was jumping from channels to channels while sprawling over the couches, utterly bored. Even since she had returned to her life she hadn’t spent such an idle day.
One day you hand such a big corporate in my hands and ask to manage it on my own and second day you baby like a child.
Her grandfather was such a capricious character. She didn’t know how he even saw her? An efficient woman who could manage a ga-conglorate on her won? Or a spoiled careless girl who needed constant pampering. She sighed and picked up her cell to browse when the television wouldn’t provide her any entertainnt.
She was astonished to find all the dia openly accusing Su Lanfen of the murders. From the latest discovery, it was revealed that it was Su Lanfen manager who had sent people to get the CCTV recordings cleared. Originally, the Su family could cover it up. But the case had gotten too much attention from the public and governnt. So things were dangerous for the Su family right now. And despite countless efforts, the police couldn’t recover the recordings. So obviously, she was the top suspect.
Would Heng Bingwen have recovered the recordings? Thinking about it, Jing Lihua gave him a call.
"Heng Bingwen what is your progress?"
"President, I just recovered the videos."
"Found sothing interesting?"
"As President had predicted, the killers were professionals. It was just the two of them. They filled the room with so anesthetic gas... From the timing and yellow color, I suspect it was Halothane. They were wearing masks so no clue of their faces and once all the chefs were unconscious, they killed them noiselessly one by one by specifically cutting their jugular vein in the neck region. They wore hand gloves, so also no fingerprints. I’m currently looking for groups with similar ways of killing. Once the professionals are found, I’ll go and look for who had bought their service recently. Then I might co up with the real culprit"
"What about the man who sold the restaurant?"
"i Xiu tried to contact him but he didn’t answer. He was aboard so his whereabouts are a little difficult to find. Give so ti president. I’m currently working on it. I’ll discover him till this afternoon"
"Alright.", Jing Lihua was about to hang up when she rembered, "About Su Lanfen, the video. Do not release it as we planned. She is already being suspected in the whole dia. If the video leaks out, it will be over for her. The whole dia is searching for a reason for her to do that. Once the video is out, they will get the reason that Su Lanfen did it to avenge herself. I might hate her but still, I think it is too much" See? Jing Lihua was so kind? She internally praised herself for having such a big heart.
"President..." Heng Bingwen sounded upset.
"What is it?"
"I’ve already sent the video to that celebrity and made the transaction. Now even if I ask him to stop, it’ll be useless. The video will get out one way or another"

None of those three belonged to any powerful family and they had suffered from these three months ago. At that ti half of the chef crew was different. And the fourth one..."
"The fourth one?"
"The fourth one is you, President"
