Chapter 4 - Ass Licking bastard
Zhang Min was pleased and tried to flatter Jing Lihua. "Mr. Jing might have overpraised . I can never match the President’s competence."
Jing Lihua tried hard not to roll her eyes. Ha! The ass licking bastard. But if we look it from the other way, the ass licking was what that had brought him where he was.
"Good. Hurry up quickly and sign and let’s be over with this business." Jing Lihua yawned, handing over him the recruitnt contract, purposely acting unconcerned.
A disgusted look flashed across Zhang Min face but he was quick to hide it with his flattering smiles. So this was heiress of Tang’s family conglorate in whom Chairman (Tang Liwei) had great hopes? The position was important. It deserved as much as a re glance at his qualifications once. He scoffed. Surely the Tang enterprise was going to suffer a huge loss in the coming years.
"But President, you should at least look at his qualification once..." i Xiu couldn’t see such an important place handed over so carelessly.
"Why do I need to bother? He was recomnded by my father. Surely a father would choose the best for his daughter. Besides, he had also worked in Su enterprise, the NO 1 enterprise in Beijing, under my husband, Su Liwei. Who in the industry has better sight for talent than him?"
i Xiu said no more. She definitely didn’t want to be included in the list of people fired today.
Jing Lihua gestured with her hand to dismiss Zhang Min.
"Thank you, President. I’ll do my best to serve the company." Zhang Min bowed. Before leaving, he sent a triumphant sneer in i Xiu direction.
Just as he stepped out, Jing Lihua’s lazy and disinterested look was suddenly replaced by a cold, icy one. She straightened herself, resuming her composed and collected expressions.
"President, pardon my boldness, but I must inform you that this Zhang Min background is suspicious. He has, at countless tis, been involved in spying on other’s companies and other such treacheries. He was recomnded by the President’s father so you must not be doubting him but I must..."
"i Xiu, you don’t have to be polite. I’m aware of my father’s nature. I know why did he send Zhang Min to my office." Jing Lihua smiled at i Xiu.
Confusion appeared on i Xiu’s face before understanding settled. It ant her President knew about her father’s malicious intentions. i Xiu was delighted to know that. Her President was not as naive as they said.
"And the fact that he has such background doesn’t an I shouldn’t keep him." Her eyes glinted like a cunning fox. She winked at i Xiu. "It ans I should ask my secretary to replace all the financial reports in Zhang Min office with fake information. From now on, you’ll bring the original reports directly to only."
"But President, why hire him in the first place...?" i Xiu’s eyes looked confounded. She couldn’t understand her real intentions."It was an important place. There were a lot of other capable candidates. Besides, how would you be able to handle all that work on your own?"
"If I didn’t keep him, our enemies would have found another thod to ddle with the company’s affairs. Because we wouldn’t know about their next move, we could have fallen a victim to it. As we know Zhang Min is their man, we can use him to feed them with false information." Her cherry red lips curled up into a smile. Her looks looked so tempting that no one could resist her. She looked like a wicked seductress. "If they want to play with , I’ll play with them very well"
i Xiu felt a chill. It was not because of winter. It was because of the cold energy her scary President was radiating. Ah... so scary, she would never underestimate her President again.
i Xiu cursed herself to believe those rumors for once that her new President was an inexperienced novice.
...
In the evening when she walked out of her office, her employees’ attitude was much better. They even lined up to greet her following the company’s proper protocol. Those who had openly sneered at her were now standing with their heads drooping low, terrified. They didn’t want to be spotted by their President. Looking satisfied, Jing Lihua listened to i Xiu reports. As she approached the lobby, she could discern loud noises.
"What is the aning of this? How could you say that I need to make an appointnt to et your President? Do you know who I’m? I’m the biggest investor of this company after your President." Heng HuiZhong was having an altercation with the reception lady.
Just as Jing Lihua appeared at the scene, Heng HuiZhong addressed her.
"President Jing." He bowed. "I think your receptionist had made a mistake. She said I can’t et you without an appointnt. You need to be a little strick on your employees. They don’t know how to respect the revered guests." He threw an intimidating glance at the receptionist.
Jing Lihua smiled coldly. "She has not made any mistake. Mr. Heng if you want to et , you’ll have to make an appointnt"
Heng HuiZhong was shocked. Without giving him any face, Jing Lihua walked for the private garage.
"What is the aning of this?" Heng Hui Zhong blocked her path. "I’m the biggest investor in your company. And you are not going to show at least so little respect? Your grandfather was a wise man. As long as he held the office, he never disrespected . If I pull out my shares, your stock price would fall more than fifty percent!"
"Mr. Heng, please step aside. I’ve so important matters to attend to." Jing Lihua smiled politely at him clearly telling him he was not important enough to claim her ti.
Heng HuiZhong was angered to death for being treated like this. "You..." When he tried to follow her, her bodyguards stopped him.
Jing Lihua leisurely walked for her car.
