"What the fuck, Conri? "I cursed.
"You are torturing the poor man. He was in my office earlier in a terrible state," Conri pressed on.
"I don’t want to discuss this with you, Lucian," I snapped.
"Then whom will you discuss it with? Tala?" Lucian demanded.
"Lucian you bastard. Stay out of this," I yelled over the phone.
"What is happening? "Tala demanded as she drove on the empty roads as the drops of rain pattered on the roof and windows of the car.
"He said you were flirting with Totem the HR," Lucian stated "And it hurt him" He continued.
"Is he ntal?"I whispered and closed my eyes in frustration.

"Drive!! "I pointed a finger at her as a smile threatened to escape my lips.
She composed herself and then pressed the pedal and we took off.
"You are lucky the roads are empty at this hour. " I chuckled and watched her handshake a little as she gripped the steering wheel hard.
"We are only ten minutes away from ho. Better not cause an accident, " I teased her and watched her smile and bite her lower lip.
"Anisha, do you think an enforcer like
can date? I am an overbearing, quick-tempered, and snobby wolf. "She asked.
"Is that all? Is that why you are keeping Totem at bay?" I gasped in surprise.

We drove the rest of the way in silence, and just as we hit the corner of the apartnt, Tala spoke up. " What about Zeeb?"
I huffed and as the main gate of the apartnt opened up, we drove in and found Zeeb standing by his car that was parked outside the apartnt
"Speak of the devil," I whispered.
"Go easy on him. " Tala’s hushed voice was still loud enough.
"I wonder if he will go easy on , judging by the thunderous look on his face, "I snickered.
"I bet you can handle him, "Tala laughed and switched off the ignition of the car. We alighted, and she rushed to hug Zeeb, taking him by surprise. I smiled, knowing she was just dealing with his anger.
"You are crushing ," Zeeb complained to Tala.
"How can one crush a boulder? ’’ She teased him.
"I can see through your actions, "Zeeb announced, and he moved his eyes to Anisha, who walked slowly towards us.
"I will leave the two of you alone," Tala smirked and walked into the apartnt.
"Get in the car, "Zeeb commanded and walked to open the door for . I hate being commanded, but I just chanted a mantra of calm down Anisha on my head and got in the car. He banged the door shut and walked to the driver’s seat, started the car and we sped off out of the apartnt.
We drove to the pier and arrived at a modern-built house that was hidden by the edge. He shut the ignition of the car and said "Get out". There was nothing kind or calm about him. My wolf paced in anger as he got out of the car and stood waiting for
to alight. I finally huffed and got out. He locked the car and then beckoned
to follow him. He opened the gate, I got in and he locked it. My eyes widened in question, but Zeeb remained mute as we walked into the house. He unlocked the door, and I walked in as he shut the door behind .
Switching on the lights, the breathtaking interior decor and classy house furniture hit . I removed my shoes, padded my feet on the warm wooden floor and admired the living room. I stood with my jaw dropped as how well the house had been decorated to a crisp, charming style with authoritative and elegant decor.
"Is this your house?" I turned around and found Zeeb unbuttoning his shirt.
"Our house," He responded calmly. Too calm.
"Our?" I watched as the last button of his shirt ca undone. He pulled the shirt from his trousers and removed it. Threw it on the couch and moved closer, towering over
as I ca face to face with the wolf tattoo on his chest.
"Our house," He repeated the statent.
"You are way in over your head, "I snapped at him and looked up.
"I have had enough of your shit, Anisha " Zeeb’s eyes changed to red and I felt his wolf rise to the surface in command while Zeeb grabbed my blouse and ripped it off my body.
