AURORA’S POV
When Lovita arrived at the hotel with his face looking like thunder, I knew that shit had happened.
" Just tell
what happened, " I demanded.
" Grandmother kidnapped Zineb and took her to Lorraine" Lovita whispered
My feet gave way and Lovita caught
before my body hit the ground.
" Ma" Lovita whispered as he pulled
to the seat at the visitors’ launch at the hotel.
" How long will this wicked woman torture ? She made Aria chase us out of Chugach and I turned a blind eye to it. And then she caused a ruckus at the pearl farm. Now this? What would kidnap Zineb ?"
" What do you an by making Pa chase us out of Chugach" Lovita demanded.
" Why did you rush over? What does Isamu say? " I closed my eyes in sha.
" We caught Simon and Steve. They are locked up in the KODA jail after Isamu and Lobo lured them there after they followed us as we searched for Zineb"
" What the fuck is going on ?" I cursed and growled.
" Co on ma " Lovita pulled
up
" How do I face Isamu?" I felt so betrayed and ashad.
" By subduing Steve and Seth. Ma, only you are powerful enough to subdue them. You would have saved all of us. " Lovita reasoned with .
I nodded and heard Sayuri’s voice " What is happening? Where is Lobo? I know sothing bad happened. Please tell
that he is okay "
"Zineb went missing and the wolves attacked us while went in search of her" Lovita inford her.
" Where are Lobo and Isamu ?" She demanded.
" At the KODA council hall. I ca to pick Ma because we need her help to subdue Seth and Steve who are locked in the KODA council Jail in wolf form before they awaken and attack.
" Co on " she stated and we left the hotel and drove to the KODA council offices. On arrival, I got out of the car and marched to the KODA council hall and when Lovita opened the door everyone turned to stare at . The look on Isamu and Lobo’s faces made
feel a pang of regret and I vowed to deal with Ma once I got my hands on her.
" What the fuck do you think you are doing?" Sayuri seethed and she looked fierce as she walked over to Lobo
" Did you rest well?" Lobo responded.
" How can Zineb be missing and you just left
in the hotel room in bed? " She demanded.
" It was urgent and you needed the rest" Lobo’s defensive voice rose.
" I have never seen the Lobo area subdued by anyone, " Tala whispered.
" I suggest you shut up," Sayuri seethed at Tala.
" Don’t take your anger out on other Sayuri" I rubbed her hands and pulled her aside.
" I will deal with you later, " She muttered.
" You called
over. What do you need? " I interjected.
" I am sorry we have to ask your help but Lovita states that you can help subdue the wolves for a few days before Alpha Conri cos back. " Benjamin spoke up.
" Co on. I am feeling pissed as it is. Show
where those two fucking mutts are " I growled while watching the way Isamu’s shoulders looked stiff as he stared out of the window of the KODA council hall.
We walked through the corridors and arrived at the main jail cell.
" The enforcers have been on guard as Seth and Steve are in wolf form. We put them in separate cells just in case " Benjamin announced.
" That was a wise decision" I murmured.
" People make their own decisions. You are not responsible for evil people. Just focus on the good in your life. Lovita turned out well and you should be proud of him" Benjamin’s voice reached my ears.
" What the fuck is her problem? How could she do sothing so evil? My life has been hard as it is" I seethed.
" Do what you can. Everyone understands and Alpha Conri does trust you. He inford us that Zineb is safe and is already at the northern border. Tizheruk and Conri asked us to stay put and wait for their instructions. "
" Thank God" I felt hope rise in my body. " I am so glad she is safe. Even though Loraine is her mother, she turned out so well as Aria tried to raise her well and took her away from her clutches. He is also to bla for her bitterness. "
We walked deeper into the jail and I ca face to face with a large wolf that was sleeping. I listened in and noticed the drugs used to subdue it.
" The darts you used will not hold them down" I noted and then pushed my power into his mind and felt the cry in his mind. He was in pain as the Cinnabar and Pearls raged in his mind and then black smoke rose in his mind and I receded my power in shock. " What the fuck was Loraine doing to her sons and sending them to their deaths without remorse?" I cursed.
" We are as baffled as you" Benjamin responded. " It’s sad that a mother can subject her children to such cruelty. How could she take out the anger she felt for Aria on her sons? "
" I will seal the jail cell so that they will not be able to leave even though the black magic in their mind link is slowly killing them. Nothing can save them. I suspect that Loriane brought them here to die so that they can release the evil wolf bond and this would kill Lovita and Lobo. A calculated move that is so evil" I inford Benjamin.
" Will you be able to seal it well ?" We heard Lobo’s voice.
"Yes," I nodded. " But you need to leave. I don’t want the wolf to sense your presence. The black magic and evil wolfe bond will be attracted to your wolf"
" I will get Sayuri to assist you " He nodded and left.
" He is lucky to have t her. He has softened and beco reasonable, " Benjamin chuckled.
I raised my hands and began to chat as I pushed the barrier on the first jail cell. Once I was sure the barrier was sealed, I moved to the second jail cell and did the sa. Once I was sure the barriers were solid I took a step back and then Sayuri arrived.
She stared at the barriers and then assessed them and smiled.
" Your barriers are solid. I will add so of my magic as reinforcent just in case" Sayuri heaved.
" I will appreciate all the help" I responded to her.
Once Sayuri was done, we stood listening in and realized that Benjamin had already left.
" You must be feeling guilty," Sayuri noted.
" Yes. I feel ashad and guilty. I know that when I ca back to Chugach I wanted to make Lovita the Alpha. But Alpha Conri Dolf has given us a chance and now we have people we call family. Lovita has three mates and I am a mber of the KODA council. What more could I ask for? But Ma keeps dragging
down" I cursed.
" Do you know why she would do this?" Sayuri laced my hand in mine and then I felt my body relax and the power of her magic healing seeped into .
" No" I smiled at her and said " Lobo is so lucky to have you. Thank you for making
feel better "
" It’s the last thing I can do. Everyone is relying on you and I could tell that you were worked up and tense after receiving the news about your mother. I can relate to what you are feeling as my mother was not an easy person and filled my head with so much garbage. But my Uncle was able to pull

" You are such a strong person. I can sense your beast is kind. It’s rare for a vampire to be kind and you Sayuri are destined for greatness’ I smiled and pulled her into a hug.
" Are you done with being emotional ?" Lobo snickered from the door and Lovita stood behind him.
" Yes," Sayuri responded and left the KODA council Jail and walked back to the KODA council eting room.
" So what is the plan? I don’t want to wait and more sore I need to deal with that old geezer who has been making trouble for so long in my life. " I cursed.
Isamu turned around and faced " What would make your mother Kidnap Zineb and take her to Loraine?"
I stood tongue-tied as I stared at Isamu before responding " Lorraine must have offered her sothing she has craved for so long. "
" What ? " everyone in the room demanded.
" The sea god’s power scale. Only one scale is powerful enough and that is what Ma had wished she would have" I whispered as I closed my eyes in sha.
