LUCIAN’S POV
The chirping of the birds and the sound of forest animals reached my eyes and I knew it was early morning just before the sunrise. I opened my eyes and Conri held
in his arms. We had made love over and over through the night.
I smiled as I slowly tried to get out of bed, removing his arms around , and went to stand by the large windows. I could feel the changes in my body as I stared at the view of the sea. My senses were heightened and my sense of sight had increased as the Oga genes rose. Last night our powers rged and I felt the way Dolf’s powers sealed my mind and rged with Freki.
" It’s more than that " I heard my Freki push the words through " Our minds are rged as one. He feels what you feel and you feel what he feels. Emotionally and physically. It’s more heightened because of the killing of wolves’ powers.
I turned to stare at Conri who slept peacefully on the bed. My mind flashed at the sight of him carrying
when we got ho and stripping
naked after I had seduced him. The way his eyes raked through my body, and he licked

I loved how Conri was protective and how he was proud of . I admired his sleeping form and felt sated. Happy and proud to mate.
" Mate" I listened as Dolf pushed the words through our mind link.

I felt elated as I listened to the two converse and walked back to the bed, feeling happiness wash over . As I sat down the bed dipped and Conri’s eyes snapped open.
" Good morning husband" I leaned down and whispered.

close and I landed on his chest as I stared down at him. " Good morning Lil pup." then he added " Let us go for a morning run"
I nodded as we got out of bed, walked down to the patient and the first rays of the sun hit the room as we opened the doors. We both shifted and ran into the Freki forest, playing with each other, landing unceremoniously on the grounds and getting up again, moving through the forest.

" You feel different" Conri pushed the words through our mind link.
" I can feel my powers have heightened, " I confessed to him.
" The changes in your body, I can sense them. Plus our mind link is intact after I pushed the powers through last night. I want us to be one. You are my wolf to call and your Alpha. My lil pup and I am your husband. " Conri spoke through our mind link.
We raced through the adow and ended up by the river, and by the ti we got back to the Freki mansion, it was close to midday. The minute Conri closed the door, the air sizzled and I felt so hot. I knew this was coming from him as I walked to the bathroom. Standing naked in the middle of the shower, I felt loved and owned.
" Lil pup" Conri wrapped his hand around

We found Anisha in the construction site making orders and ensuring everyone was coordinated since Everest was away. " Good morning my dear brothers"

" Where is Zeeb?" I asked.
" In the office" Anisha inford . " He has Toten and Tharn, hence I ca to the construction site just as we agreed with Everest. He has outdone himself I would say. Can we build another resort just for guests? I like it here"
Conri and I looked at each other and laughed. " Yes we can’’ Conri leaned over and pressed a kiss on my ear lovingly.
" Aa stop, I can’t take it "Anisha blushed and closed her eyes dramatically." The air around the two of you feels different. More intense"
" Maybe" I teased her.
"I can sense your powers in an imnse, scary, and powerful way" Anisha observed as she watched
and pointed at us. "It’s vibrating off the two of you"
Conri smiled and said " We shall leave you to it. "
" Thank you, Anisha," I added.
We walked out of the construction site and drove the Due Corporation. Zeeb was the first to spot us and walked over to greet us. His step faltered as he neared us and stopped short.
" What the hell is that ?" He asked as he stared at us.
Conri chuckled and muttered " Will everyone behave like this?’
" It seems so," I responded.
" The power that is buzzing between the two of you is ridiculous" Zeeb took a step back.
" How is everything ?" I deflected.
" Good. Benjamin and Aurora are back. They called in advance and headed to the office. Elder Zaya is also on her way"
" It seems they found the mangy wolves army" I cursed.
" I have prepared the boardroom for the eting, " Zeeb stated.
Tharn appeared from behind Zeeb, his eyes widened and he staggered back. " SO much power" Tharn whispered as he stared at Conri
" You felt it right?" Zeeb spoke to Tharn.
Tharn turned to Lucian and then stamred " What is going on?
"Nothing" Conri snapped and his voice ca out so loud it vibrated across the corridor.
" Calm down" I laced my hands with his and then pulled him towards the boardroom as Zeeb and Tharn rushed to give us away.
Upon entry, we found that the place had already been arranged and coffee and tea urns placed at the center of the board room table.
" What is the plan?" Lucian asked .
" We first gather all the intel and then make a plan" I whispered.
" Are we late?" We heard Godmother’s voice from the door. We both stood up in greeting and rushed over to welco her. Everest and Aurora also appeared in five minutes, and Toten, Tharn, and Zeeb joined in.
" Do we have any word from the team in Texas? " I asked.
" Not as yet " Zeeb stated.
" What did you find " I spoke up and we all turned to Aurora and Everest"
" The mangy wolves army is in the Northern border. They are underground by the mountains and if it was Simon Mark who raised them, he used the power of the pearls and Cinnabar crystal. " Everest spoke up.
" Shit" Zeeb cursed while Elder Zaya banged the table.
" We need to get to the Northern Border and flash them out, " Everest advised.
" What did the border general have to say for himself.?" Conri growled.
" There was no way he could have sensed it. He does not have that kind of power. " Aurora spoke up.
" How did they get the pearls to the Northern border?" Elder Zaya demanded.
" Aria is the one who set this up. I deduce this as a backup plan that he set up. So sending Simon Mark away was to prepare for the war. "
" Has the General spotted the many wolves before ?" Toten demanded.
" He says that they spotted one or two wolves and that was it" Aurora growled.
" If they attack from the North, they would arrive in Chugach in twenty-four hours or less. They will be killing along the way and crushing anyone who stops them. The best way is to get to the Northern Border, " Conri said.
" I agree. " Everest stated.
" How many enforcers do we have ?" Elder Zaya asked.
" Too little, " Conri responded. " This fight is not for the pack Godmother"
" Is that why power is radiating between the two of you? "Elder Zaya pointed out.
" Yes. " Conri stated without hesitation.
" What if you get hurt? Who will protect you ?" Elder Zaya insisted.
" Since when does the King of Wolves need protection?" Conri’s voice bood over the room and his power radiated around us.
There was a knock at the ballroom door and an enforcer appeared.
" I am sorry to interrupt Alpha Conri but we are under attack. Thousands of mangy wolves have appeared near the east border. They have already reached the east of the river that flows from Mount Chugach and what is surprising is that so of them are coming out of the water" He reported in a panic.
" What ?" Everyone in the room yelled but Lucian and Aurora remained composed.
" Ti’s up" Conri stood up. " It’s ti for you to witness the power of the King of Wolves."
