I dragged myself out of bed and my eye caught the clothes placed on the bedside chair. I stared at them and snickered, knowing well that Mrs. Hemming was playing matchmaker.
An hour later, I was showered, dressed, and ready to leave the Villa. I walked out of the room to the sll of food and I followed the scent since my stomach growled. The table was filled with at and chicken, potatoes, and salads. Mrs Hemming must have heard

"Manners. You have no manners. " Addison followed as she slowly slid on the chair and then waited for Mrs Hemming to sit down.
"Have a seat. " Mrs Hemming pointed at the empty chairs opposite Addison and Aspen.

His question made Haida choke while Mrs. Hemming burst into fits of laughter.
"You are so slow and hopeless. "Addison smacked the back of Aspen’s head.
"Co on. Can you see the way he was looking at Ma" Aspen complained.

"Ma seems to be happier since you ca along. How should I interpret that ?" Aspen demanded.
"Your mother is naughty and cheeky "I muttered under my breath and Mrs Hemming patted my hand and said "Ignore them.

"I wonder if you t Elder Zaya, how much trouble would the two of you cause? " I snickered and a small smile played on my lips.
"Who is she?" Mrs. Hemming asked.
"She is the godmother of Conri Dolf. Conri was an exiled rogue Alpha before Lucian Freki rescued him from the mountains where we cohabited. "I explained.
"Did you say Freki?" Mrs. Hemming’s eyes widened. "There is a Freki wolf in Chugach?

Mrs Heming and I remained silent for the rest of the al, but Haida kept giving
side glances as she ate her food. Once I was full, I stood up and announced, " I am leaving"

"Yes. I need to report back to Hunter before he goes crazy, "I laughed.
"Is Hunter’s mate beautiful?" Aspen asked.

"I live with Lucian and Conri at the Freki mansion. Elder Zaya also lives there. " I responded and then took a step back, pushed the chair back on the table, and attempted to walk out of the room.

and I turned to her and said, "Why the fuck do you care? The Freki mansion is my ho"
"Pfft," she huffed and looked away.
"I don’t have ti for your nonsense, " I seethed and then turned to Mrs. Hemming. You looked bemused. " Allow
to leave. I will be in contact once I get to Chugach." I removed the paper that I had scribbled in my number and placed it next to her, together with a bank card.
"What is this? "She demanded as she stared at the bank card.
"Money Ma’am" I drawled. "Use it to buy clothes and whatever necessities you need. "

And with that, I left the villa and rushed out to the car waiting to take
to the airport. I welcod the silence as we drove to the airport. I took a comrcial flight back and picked up a taxi to the Freki mansion on arrival from the airport.
Conri must have sensed my arrival as he walked out of the mansion even before we got to the entrance of the gates. He was pacing up and down and when he spotted
in the Taxi, his shoulder sagged with relief.
I got out of the car after making paynts and then the car left the Freki Mansion just as the sun set and darkness slowly crept in. The night lights illuminated Conri’s face as he stood staring at , and then I felt Dolf stir in my mind. He was probing, and then I saw the shocked look on Conri’s face before he burst into fits of laughter. He must have sensed how happy my beast was to et our mate. I huffed left him in the parking lot, and walked into the house.
Upon entry, Elder Zaya stood up from the couch while Tala remained stoic. Lucian stood by the window, staring out at Conri.
"Did you miss ?" I teased Elder Zaya.
"Bering, just spit it out before Tala has an aneurysm," Elder Zaya commanded.
"They are all safe," I announced proudly, and then Conri smacked the back of my head while Lucian chuckled and Tala bead happily.
"Why did you not call on ti? Do you know how much Godmother was worried? "Conri growled at .
"Calm down. Have I ever failed you?" I complained.
"Why did you laugh? " Lucian demanded.
"Dont even think about it. " I pushed the words through to Conri’s mind link and then realized that Lucian heard the words.

to take you to Hunter?"

take a shower and then we can leave, "I stated and walked to the bunker. I took a shower and dressed when Conri entered the bunker, making
groan at how excited he looked.
"Can you just contain yourself? " I snapped at him and I attempted to sidestep and leave the bunker.
