"Attack!"

Without hesitation, Bobby rushed forward and swung his longsword in one smooth motion, cutting the royal sli in half.

However, the royal sli was not dead. Its two halves quickly reconnected and shot a sli projectile at Bobby.

With his speed, Bobby narrowly evaded the royal sli’s attack.

But when Rocky saw the massive rock that had been heavily lted by the blast, he scowled.

(Sure enough, the royal sli is strong.)

If that attack had hit him, he would have died for sure. Even with the armor from Bobby’s skill, he wasn’t confident he would survive.

Bobby instantly activated [Aura of Predator] on the royal sli, weakening it drastically. He kicked the royal sli into the air, then followed up with a series of precise and brutal slashes.

Since the royal sli had no limbs or wings to evade, it was overwheld and destroyed by Bobby’s relentless attacks.

Rocky’s jaw nearly dropped when he stared at Bobby’s stats. Bobby had jumped up four levels. It was strange. From what he knew about royal slis in the dungeon, he would need to kill at least five of them just to reach level two. And now, after killing only a single royal sli, his beast had already reached level three?

At that mont, he finally understood why the geniuses’ beasts could defeat him so easily. Just imagine it—those geniuses’ beasts only needed to kill a few monsters to reach ridiculous levels, while his own beast had to slaughter countless goblins, getting exhausted over and over, yet barely leveling up by a fingernail. It was completely unfair.

Actually, if one of those geniuses were here right now, their jaws would drop as well when they saw Bobby’s absurd leveling speed.

He summoned the system screen again. He wasn’t sure whether his beast’s preferences would change once more.

Na: Bobby

Compatibility: 100%

Species Rank: Calamity

Level: 5

Unique Skill: Basic Swordsmanship, Void Forging, Aura of Predator

Current Preferred Mana Core: Troll’s mana core

Current Mood: wants to slaughter the enemy

Rocky’s expression quickly twisted when he saw Bobby’s request.

A troll?

Although trolls didn’t possess destructive power like royal slis, they had a crazy trait that any beast tar had to be wary of.

A troll’s regeneration ability was practically unlimited. Because of that, his beast would face a lot of difficulty. Moreover, trolls always acted in groups, never alone. If his beast wanted to fight them, then he would need at least two beasts cooperating.

But Bobby needed to reach level 100 if Rocky wanted to ta another beast. He could invite soone else to cooperate, but that was a stupid idea.

No one wanted to cooperate with him. Fighting trolls? What kind of idiot would do that just for a beast?

Rocky sighed and quickly commanded his beast to shrink down and jump onto his shoulder.

"It’s hard, but I believe that if my beast kills all those trolls, the result will make my jaw drop again."

Rocky dashed to another place. By chance, he passed by the students’ hunting ground, but Rocky completely ignored them.

Alex frowned when he saw Rocky’s odd actions. While the students’ beasts were killing monsters, Rocky was only guiding his beast to swim and run around.

Because he was a mber of the Great Clan, he understood Rocky’s actions very well. There were two possibilities.

First, Rocky was just showing off, pretending he could read his beast’s thoughts and acting on its wishes to level up.

Second, Rocky was truly good at raising beasts and could actually understand what his beast was thinking.

(Impossible. There’s no way an inferior piece of trash could do that. It’s just a show-off.)

He glanced at his own beast, which was resting after killing a horde of goblins. It looked completely exhausted after fighting nonstop.

Level: 2

He clenched his fists and jaw, then yelled in anger.

"Don’t rest unless I tell you to. Attack another horde of goblins. Otherwise, I’ll kill you... I don’t need a trash beast."

***

Bobby danced across the battlefield, performing a series of deadly attacks, finishing the trolls off. Each slash, empowered with pure mana, destroyed entire cells of their bodies. He didn’t allow them to regenerate again.

A nearby troll grabbed its club and swung it toward Bobby, but the movent was easy to catch.

Bobby, who was montarily restrained by a horde of trolls, quickly snapped the hilt of his sword forward, letting it kiss the troll’s face in a deadly blow, leaving it dazed and bleeding.

He leaped into the air, unleashing a flurry of crashing attacks, clearing several trolls away at once.

Blood soaked his back armor and longsword, but it quickly slid off and dropped to the ground thanks to the armor’s zero stickiness.

Another clash began as, from a distance, yet another horde of trolls charged over. Bobby continued to use [Aura Predator], releasing a wave of aura that covered the entire area.

Sure enough, the trolls grew weaker and weaker, and Bobby’s slaughter beca effortless.

He lifted his longsword and slowly approached the trolls without fear. His eyes were filled with death and killing intent.

Just like that, he once again perford a dance of death, grinding through the monsters like helpless prey.

The trolls truly beca prey to Bobby’s bloodlust.

Rocky could only widen his eyes as he witnessed Bobby’s performance. He had never seen a beast with swordsmanship at such a high level.

The books never ntioned any beast capable of sothing like this.
