’’Do you know why I like to use fire?’’ Rocky blinked for a mont as he gazed at the fire dancing gracefully over his finger.
Curtis gulped in confusion, having no idea what Rocky ant.
Rocky glanced at Curtis coldly before dropping the fire onto Curtis’s head. Soon, the fire spread through Curtis’s body.
Curtis yelled in panic while struggling to put out the flas, but his pointless actions only made the fire burn even crazier.
’’N-No... N-No... Why? I told you everything...even gave you all my points.....Damn you!...AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!’’
His face twisted in suffering while he scratched at his face maniacally. His eyes were filled with hatred and anger as he gazed at Rocky, who was already faint in his vision—since his eyes had burned to ash.
Pretty soon, Curtis was nothing but a blackened corpse. His mouth was still wide open, as if screaming a curse at Rocky. His charred, shriveled hands were raised toward Rocky as though they wanted to pull him to hell.
’’Because I like hearing that sound.’’
Rocky glanced at the runes ahead.

Rocky nodded and dismissed the runes. Bobby appeared nearby and then jumped onto Rocky’s shoulder.
Both of them quickly returned to his group.
His group was sitting, leaning against tree trunks. So of them were eating their food supplies and drinking.
It was understandable. They needed to take a break after facing so many troubles. Rocky slowly approached them and took a seat.
Strangely, he caught a few glances from the ancient races. Unlike the indifferent looks from before, at this mont they looked at him with alertness, even a bit of respect.
After witnessing countless impossible things from Rocky, their initial thoughts about humans had shifted a little.
Rocky just sighed. He didn’t care about what they thought of him. As long as they didn’t get in his way, it would be fine.
At so point, Bobby suddenly jumped off his shoulder and perford so weird actions as if he wanted to say sothing.
Rocky nodded slowly. He understood Bobby well enough to know what he wanted to say. He quickly summoned the system.

(Do you an you want Leon?)
Rocky blinked for a mont and stood up. He glanced around and asked,
’’Hey, everyone, where is Leon’s corpse?’’
An elf spoke up.
’’I buried him. An elf’s corpse should belong to the earth.’’
Rocky made a clicking sound with his tongue.
’’Lead to that place. I have sothing to do with him.’’
The elf spoke with an annoyed voice.
’’I refuse, human... I won’t allow anyone to touch my race, especially dirty beings like you.’’
Rocky frowned as he saw the hostility from the elves. He scratched the back of his head. At this ti, he really wanted to wipe out those scumbags, yet causing trouble wasn’t a good option.
He explained in a calm voice.
’’Why must you mourn for an asshole like him? Don’t forget that person gave us ruined pills... I’m looking for him for a justified reason. It’s related to why we were attacked by monsters in the first place.’’
The couple of elves frowned. They intended to respond, but so dwarfs nearby spoke up.
’’He’s totally right... I don’t believe that fucking scum. It’s all his fault. Because of him, a lot of us have died.’’
So humans nodded.
’’Yeah, carry that corpse here. Otherwise, we’re going to bury you with him. I guess you guys want to sleep with a new mother here.’’
So elves gritted their teeth in anger, but they just let out a breath afterward. They nodded, accepting the request from everyone.
Pretty soon, Leon’s corpse appeared, still handso, with a perfect face—nothing much had changed about him.
"See!" an elf grumbled.
Bobby jumped off Rocky’s shoulders and closed in on Leon. He walked around the corpse before his attention focused on Leon’s head.
He slowly approached Leon’s head while summoning a knife. Without hesitation, he stabbed Leon’s head.
These cruel actions left everyone bewildered for a mont, especially the elves. They roared in rage and commanded their beasts to attack Bobby.
However, the dwarves and humans swiftly commanded their beasts to protect Bobby.
One of them said,
"Let him be."
An elf’s face twisted in fury as he roared,
"What the hell? Why do ancient races like you allow that dirty being to touch our race?"
One of the dwarves blinked for a mont before speaking. His voice was full of powerlessness.
"Because of that reason, we must let humans do it... only humans can do it without hesitation. Don’t lie to yourself anymore. I guess your beast has already felt what’s inside his body."
The elf’s jaw clenched tightly. So other elves shared the sa emotions and let their guard down.
Soon, Bobby dragged Leon’s brain out. He lifted it up as if he had just received a trophy, with almost contentnt, while everyone’s faces twisted in terror and desperation.
So elves dropped to their knees in powerlessness. The dwarves just scowled and sat nearby, having not much to say.
"A plant?" A human tilted his head in confusion.
Rocky nodded and said,
"A parasitic plant."
Rocky slowly closed in on Bobby, taking a look at the brain. A complex web of dodder crept into the sulci of the brain and pulsed nonstop like the veins of a creature.
He triggered his [Verdant Insight] skill.

Na: Blood-Dark Dodder seedling
Rank: Noble
Description: A clever plant with nurous branches, enough to blanket a mountain... having huge potential to reach Holy rank if it reaches the peak of its lifespan. However, it needs a lot of blood from creatures to achieve that.
They live by releasing their seeds in micro form. Then, the seeds fly into the host thanks to their tiny size and grow inside the host’s brain.
And controlling the host depends on its mother.
The seedlings not only boosted the beast’s stats significantly at first, but also neutralized other seedlings in other hosts.
