A young teenage boy with a handso face and pure blue hair strode toward the classroom. He blinked, revealing blue eyes that held a hint of tension and annoyance.
His na was Rocky Stephens. He was the son of a Great Clan, who possessed mories from another world. Yep, he had been reborn—yet he didn’t have a system—worse still, he had a trash taming ability.
How ironic.
As soon as he stepped inside the classroom, mocking laughter rang out through every corner of the room.
"Hello, useless trash."
Instinctively, he turned his gaze toward a young boy—Jeff—who was sitting with one leg crossed over the other, completely relaxed. His face was full of arrogance and pompousness. When Rocky saw his fur coat, rage quickly soiled him to the core.
Rocky gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, but just half a second later, he sighed helplessly and moved to his table.
Jeff smirked. His voice lingered throughout the room.
"Do you see my new fur coat? It’s your beast. I’ve already skinned that dog, just like I promised."
Just so months ago, a battle had broken out between the main clan and the branch clan to decide the leader of the Stephens Clan.
A bloodied battle.
As everyone in the world had expected, the main clan had already lost. It was understandable—the leaders of the Stephens Clan, also Rocky’s parents, had died in the battle against the Pride Demon King.
The main clan’s position was quickly shaken throughout the entire clan, and as if by destiny, the leader of the branch clan exploited the opportunity perfectly.
They corrupted everyone who had once stood behind Rocky’s parents with money and power. In the end, only Rocky and his sisters still stood firm.
How ironic—it was still not enough.
He couldn’t even defeat the traitor leader’s second son. His beast had already been beheaded in the fight with Jeff.
The reason he was still alive and able to sit in the academy was because his big sister had made a deal with the branch clan. He didn’t know much about the details, but he would figure it out when his sister returned to the clan after half a month.1
"Is he mute? ...Well, I suppose so. After all, he witnessed his beast’s head being severed and could do nothing." Joe Stephens, one of Jeff’s underlings, smirked in mockery. "A pathetic tar who couldn’t even protect his beast."
"He should’ve died... He’s a disgrace to his parents, who were supposed to be the strongest in the world," Shawn Stephens chuckled, his eyes filled with contempt as he looked at Rock.
Cuthbert added, "No, they’re just stupid. If they hadn’t done sothing so stupid, like trying to protect the world, we wouldn’t have had the chance to overthrow the main clan."
Rocky’s expression twisted in rage as those bastards insulted his parents in public. His parents had sacrificed their lives to defeat the Pride Demon King and protect both the world and the clan, while no one dared to do anything. And now, these people dared to offend them.
Rocky stood up. Even if he was no longer a tar or a superhuman, he still wanted to crush those bastards.
No matter what, dying was better than living in humiliation.
However, a young female student, Margot suddenly stood up and spoke in an angry voice.
"You guys are real bastards. I don’t care how much you hate each other. But don’t insult his parents. Truth is truth. When all the great clans refused to sacrifice anything, they took responsibility. Many cities were saved—my city included. I won’t allow scum like you to defile my heroes."
Then, she glanced at the other students, her voice filled with anger.
"And you guys are cowards... Why isn’t anyone saying sothing?"
Suddenly, a young man, Cyril swung a brutal slap at the girl, making her groan before collapsing to the ground in pain. He scread angrily.
"What the fuck are you doing? You’re ruining our family!"
He quickly turned to Jeff and spoke in a pleading tone.
"Sir, please forgive my stupid sister. She sotis speaks without thinking. I promise that next ti, she won’t show such an attitude toward the son of a Great Clan."
Jeff smirked when he heard that. Indeed, he really liked what they called him: Son of the Great Clan.
He chuckled.
"Good~ I’ll forgive you. But not everyone here is like you."
He glanced coldly at everyone.
"Scold and curse that bastard for . If not..."
He paused for a mont before pointing at the girl who had just scolded them.
Shawn nodded in understanding and moved at a ridiculous speed, driving a brutal knee into Margot’s abdon.
He spat in disgust as he looked down at the girl clutching her stomach in pain.
The next mont, she passed out.
"You should know your place... the place of trash."
A student shivered at Shawn’s brutal actions, then quickly turned and shouted at Rock.
"You’re trash! Your parents should die."
...
"Yeah! I don’t even know what kind of trash parents you have..."
Curses and insults spread through the students.
Jeff and his underlings smirked, but quickly stopped when the professor entered the classroom.
He narrowed his eyes, then let out a sigh. He could tell what had happened earlier, but he couldn’t interfere too deeply in the Great Clan’s affairs.
He stepped onto the stadium and said,
"Today is a special day... There are two new students at our academy. Coincidentally, both of them are children of Great Clans. Let’s welco them as close friends."
A male student entered the classroom. Everyone widened their eyes when they saw him. A charming boy with sharp features. Firm muscles were faintly visible beneath his clothes. He glanced at everyone with a gentle smile, making every girl fall in love.
In the end, he cast a glance at Rocky... a look full of disgust and spite.
"Greetings, everyone... My na is Travis Booth."
Rock frowned. He knew that bastard. He was the son of a Great Clan, and he would be another big trouble for Rocky. After all, the Booth Clan and the Stephen Clan had so hostility in the past.
The Booth Clan, where all mbers had high compatibility with beasts possessing berserk traits, among many others
He sighed.
(What a pain.)
Three minutes later, everyone waited for the next student, but nothing happened.
The professor scratched his head and said,
"Well, I guess she ran into so trouble on the way. But don’t worry, either way, we’ll et her tomorrow."
Then, suddenly, as if the professor rembered sothing, he glanced at Rocky.
"Student Rocky, rember this—at 5 p.m. this afternoon, the summoning ritual to open the Beast Gate will begin... Don’t forget it."
