The arm went for Abigail’s throat.
Vani was the first to react.
Without a second thought, she leaped up and swung her tomahawk, sending the arm aid at Abigail flying away.

Then I heard a click of the tongue, and a woman stood up slowly from the fog so distance away. She was rubbing her wrists and glaring at us with icy cold stares.
She was wearing a strange gothic outfit, anyone can tell she was an alien with just a glance. Her face was as pale as a corpse as she stared at Vani, and the fangs that peeked out of her mouth were unnaturally long and sharp.
The fact that her arm was still connected to her body after Vani’s blow was further proof that she was an alien..
Abigail cos to a stop.
“–Vampire.”
Nocturnes–probably, mbers of the alien elite called the Highland Zephyr that Gevaudan had told about.
A gunshot rang out.
Hirsch aims at the female vampire and pulls the trigger, prompting Vani and Rudra to attack simultaneously from both sides.
The female vampire parries four slashes from the tomahawk with her long red claws.
“Get away from it, both of you! I’ll turn it into a hornet’s nest!”
InoRyder shouted, and the two jumped away.
The female vampire, now alone, is bombarded with a barrage of assault rifle rounds. Since her gun was also specially made, its lethality was off the charts.

Whisley swung wild roar in his hand and struck it in the nick of ti, saving InoRyder from the brink of death.
The black wolf sprang back from the impact and sank back into the mist with a whimpering yelp.

“Watch out! She’s a vampire so she can shapeshift!!”
Vampires are famous for transforming into wolves, bats, and even fog.

Sothing caught Abigail’s attention and she looked down at her feet.
White gas was drifting against the wind from the helicopter.
She followed the line with her eyes.
The fog curled up and converged in the helicopter.
–there is another vampire.
“Logan, behind you!”
When he turned around, there was a male vampire looking down at him. He was wearing the sa gothic outfit as the female vampire from earlier.

The vampire’s cold voice made Natsuki turn around and let out a small scream.
The vampire’s reach his hand out.
“Uoooo!!”
Logan quickly launched himself at the vampire.
He is an officer who served in the army. His physique is more robust than most. Logan’s well-trained shoulder pierced the vampire’s abdon but the vampire did not even twitch.
“shit……!”
Cold sweat dripped down Logan’s face as he stuck in the sa position where his shoulder had hit the vampire.

The annoyed vampire waved his arm, and Logan’s body was flung out of the helicopter with a spray of blood.
The montum causes Natsuki to fall and let go of Yakumo’s hand.
There is only Yakumo standing in the helicopter.
Picking him up, the vampire shouts loudly.
“Freesia! ◎〓＃〒〓◇！”
Imdiately after, a crowd of aliens breaks into the depot.
The human soldiers fight back.
In the midst of the chaos, the vampire holding Yakumo in his arms vanishes into mist once again with a wry smile on his face .
All this happened in the blink of an eye.
Nothing left in the helicopter.

Natsuki stared at the empty helicopter, speechless.
“Ya-Yakumo…………where……”
Although Vani was watching the whole thing, she had her hands full dealing with the female vampire.

When Vani shouted, Rudra was already gone from the battlefield.

Abigail’s lips quivered and she yelled in shock.

She snapped, not hiding her frustration as she stopped helping Logan up.
“How on the hell did they find out!!”
“We can’t stay here anymore. We need to get out of here!!”
InoRyder pulled Abigail’s arm as she fired her rifle.
But Abigail yanked her hand away, shook her blonde hair, and shouted back, “No!!”
“We must get Yakumo-kun back!!”
“Leave that to Rudra–“
“We have to!! everyone!!”
InoRyder is overwheld by Abigail’s uncharacteristic deanor.
“What do you an, everyone?”
“We must do everything we can!! or the entire human race will perish!! Whisley, help us!”
Everyone’s eyes snapped to attention. But no one understands.
Abigail explains madly to the crowd, as if she was going crazy.
Abigail’s explains her understanding of Yakumo’s abilities. Naly, about his imnse computing ability and his decryption skills. And there was sothing else, sothing supernatural about him.
And most importantly, the fact that if it were to fall into the hands of the enemy, humanity would undoubtedly be on the verge of extinction.

Whisley rushed in.
“Tell Agatha and Eriksen everything she just said. You, take Johan and Mayday with you and move with Delta. Vani, InoRyder. I’ll take care of the female vampire, you two and Abigail will go after Yakumo. Join up with Rudra and rescue him.”
“I’m coming too!”
Natsuki rushed to the scene.
“Natsuki, this is not the ti to–“
“We’ve been together all our lives, he’s my brother! I am not gonna leave him!”

At Whisley’s command, the mbers all dispersed at once.
Abigail pulls Natsuki’s hand and follows InoRyder and the others.
“–That being said…….”
InoRyder said as they ran.
“Where did they take the shorty? Vani, do you know where Rudra is?”
“Signal’s dead.”
Vani waved the terminal. No signal.
“And there it is, twin’s sympathy at work.”
“This is not the ti to joke”
“Enough. At this point, we can’t afford to worry about our reputation now. I’m going to call in so reliable help.”
Then Abigail pulled out a silver straw doll from her pocket. And there’s a “?” floating above everyone’s head.
