328 He Is Careful
It was late at night like a black curtain fell from the night sky. Loud music and cheers ca from a luxury yacht. The deck party began.
Cedric went downstairs and knocked on the door to Isabella’s room. “Isabella, it’s about to start. Have you got dressed?”
“The dress that you gave ...”
“It’s too tight. I can’t pull the zipper up.” Isabella said embarrassedly.
“What?”
Cedric knocked on the door again. “Open the door. I’ll show you.”
Isabella opened the door.
The lights in the room were dim, and the moonlight on the deck was soft and bright. Isabella held the dress that could not cover her chest and lowered her head. Her face was flushed with embarrassnt.
Obviously, she had tried hard to put on this dress for a long ti.

Cedric looked at her cheek and Isabella’s neck. He cald himself and looked behind her. “It was made according to your size. There shouldn’t be such a mistake. I’ll pull it for you.”
Isabella nodded resignedly. Without the dress, she could not attend this evening’s ball party. Cedric did not inform her in advance that there would be a ball and that she needed to get dressed. He had already prepared everything she needed as he only wanted Isabella to enjoy herself, so he did not want her to be disturbed by other things.

“Let’s co here a bit.”
Isabella said and took a step towards the dark place.
Cedric was puzzled. “I can’t see clearly here. Let turn on the lights?”
“No, no!”
“Don’t turn on the lights,” Isabella hurriedly declined.
Cedric was stunned. “Why...”
Isabella bit her lips, not knowing what to say.
“Is there a problem? Isabella?” Through the dim light, Cedric sensed Isabella’s embarrassnt. “Is there anything inconvenient? Just tell ... Do you feel like you don’t want to see your back? If you mind it, I can cover my eyes.”
Isabella could not help but laugh.
“I’m not that conservative. I have scars. I’m afraid I might scare you...”
“Scars?”
“Yes. Didn’t you touch it today? It’s better if you don’t see it too clearly. I’m afraid you’ll feel disgusted,” Isabella said in a light voice.
“That scar?”
Cedric’s eyes darkened, but her tone was still gentle. “How old were you when you fall on the glass?”
“Seven.”
Isabella thought for a mont. “It’s been too long. I can’t rember it very clearly. I only rember it was very painful and I bled a lot. My mother was so scared that she fainted.”
Cedric reached out and stroked Isabella’s back.
It was rough, and the hideous scars could be seen under the dim light.
“Don’t. It’s itchy.” Isabella dodged with a smile and rebuked, “Cedric, stop touching . I’ll hit you if you touch again! Curiosity might get you beaten. Hurry up and zip it up!”
Cedric smiled and pinched Isabella’s dress. “There are many scars. Tell . What happened at that ti?”
“I crashed through the glass from the second floor and fell down.”
Isabella said honestly, “The glass fell to the ground. At that ti, there was no tempered glass that could prevent cuts, so many of them were directly stabbed into my flesh. It was quite deep. When I was young, I didn’t think it was sothing. When I grew up, I felt it looked horrible.”
“Who made you fall down? How strong that person was?”
“Not that strong. Rosy was five years older than . I...”
Isabella suddenly realized sothing and hurriedly changed her words, “At that ti, we were fighting and chasing each other, then...”
Cedric’s eyes suddenly darkened. “In other words, it was the Smiths. Did your sister, who had no blood relations, push you?”
Isabella had never expected Cedric to be so straightforward. Many people had asked about the scars on her back, including Joseph.

Cedric snorted, “A teenager is not that young and she should know it was dangerous.”
Isabella did not answer. She did not know how to continue the conversation. It was not good to complain about the past. However, Cedric’s tone made her feel like he had changed into a different person. He was very cold and no one could approach him.
Cedric slowly pulled up the zipper. Isabella imdiately took a deep breath to make it easier. Cedric smiled and said, “What’s going on? Did you gain so weight in just two days?”
Isabella murmured, “I’ve been living too comfortably these past few days. I eat and drink whatever I want at your place. I’m lazy and haven’t practiced.”
Cedric glanced at Isabella’s chest. “I think they might have underestimated your chest because it looks quite small. I didn’t expect it...”
Isabella instantly blushed. “Really?”
Cedric couldn’t help but laugh. He slowly pulled the zipper to her neck, and then signaled her to co to him. “Beautiful! Beauty, let’s go. Tonight, you will definitely be able to amaze everyone.”

Zachary loved parties.
He was standing at the highest place, holding the microphone and shouting excitedly, “Yes, yes! Let’s party tonight!”
Joseph was drinking in a corner.
Stella was wearing a beautiful silver dress with pearls and was accompanied by his side. She was extrely beautiful. “Joseph, aren’t you going to dance?”
“No, enjoy yourself.”
Joseph said gently, “I wanted you to be livelier. Go dance for a while. The doctor said that this is better for you.”
“Are you going to accompany ?” Stella blinked.
Joseph shook his head. “I’m a little tired today. I don’t want to move.”
“Mr. Joseph, let’s dance together?”
Doris felt that Joseph treated her very differently today. After dressing up, she ran over and hugged Joseph’s arm. She was smug.
Joseph looked at Doris up and down and frowned. “Did you just co back from the zoo?”
Doris was stunned. “Zoo?”
“Like a turkey with all kinds of feathers.”
“I can’t stand your colorful dress. You should go find Zachary. You two should be a couple,” Joseph sneered.
