After leaving Gorin inside the room, Aric headed out to find Ron. He wanted to have Ron make an underground chamber imdiately under the main house. He knew Ron was making the board he asked for, but he was sure that would have been done with already.

He didn’t want things like screams getting above ground, after all, he was about to make Gorin spill everything.

Ron imdiately understood the assignnt, and rather than find any goblins, he called on Lucas and Gunam, as the two of them were the only ones he really trusted.

Aric also asked Quadoris to go with Ron for a serious project. They would need his blocks to build the dungeon.

"Are we going to tell Lady Ariel about this project?" Quadoris asked.

"No, I don’t plan to tell her, and if she finds out, I’ll say the dungeon was already a part of the building, she just didn’t know." Aric said.

Quadoris felt a bit scared doing sothing like this behind Ariel’s back, but he had no other choice but to do what Aric said.

Ron gathered the materials that they would need, they marked a space near the house and began digging.

They dug underground quickly, the sound of other work happening drowned the sound of theirs.

Aric, on the other hand, spotted Ariel. He had to distract her sohow. He didn’t want her to know about the dungeon, because he didn’t know how she would take to him torturing information out of soone.

He walked up to her, he was about to speak, but she spoke first. "Please don’t hide projects like an underground dungeon away from , Aric. I don’t know why you would do that, but I have no issues against what you want to use it for." Ariel said.

Aric was stunned when he heard her. He couldn’t understand how she did that, how she was able to tell his plan even when she wasn’t there.

"How did you find out?" He asked.

"I have a new skill. I awakened it after you made your personal advisor. The skill allows to know almost everything that happens with your property.

I can tell which and which projects are happening, as long as they belong to you." Ariel explained.

"That seems like an OP skill, don’t you think?" Aric said.

"OP? What’s that?" Ariel asked.

"Overpowered, it’s when sothing is too strong." Aric explained.

"I don’t think it’s overpowered, I feel it’s right for what I need to be doing right now." Ariel said.

"Well, since you know, it’s no secret anymore. Also, I want to have the final discussion with the Baron, let’s know if we are sending him back or not." Aric said.

"I’ll bring him to your office then, wait for ." Ariel said and walked off.

Aric headed to his office. He got in and sat on the chair, leaning backwards, with the two front legs off the ground.

He humd a tune as he waited for Ariel. After a few minutes, she arrived, dragging along the Baron. She forced the Baron to sit down, and then she took the second seat.

Imdiately the Baron was seated, Aric leaned forward and allowed his chair to go back normal. He looked the Baron right in the eyes. Though the Baron was a prisoner here, he didn’t seem the slightest bit worried.

"I’m sure you already know what we brought you here for. I’ve been thinking of what to do about you. Ariel here gave an idea of what would be the best course of action, but it had so loopholes.

But then after a while of thinking, I found the perfect way to reason with you." Aric said. He pulled out a sheet of paper and placed it on the table.

"This is a blood contract that binds both parties by blood, and the one that breaks it will die instantly. Whatever we agree on now will be recorded on this paper, and when we sign it, we will be forever bound to it." Aric explained.

This contract alone had cost him 5000 gold to get it from the system, but he knew it would be worth it in the end.

"So what are your offers for releasing ?" The Baron asked.

"It’s simple really, we want to be in trade with your town, us and you, no other bodies, not your kingdom, not your fellow barons, exclusively you and us.

You already know that we have quite the good array of products here, you have seen so for yourself. So we want to trade things from here with you, and all you need is to pay us with things we need or information.

But you can’t let anyone know of our existence, we aren’t ready for any beef yet." Aric explained.

"Hmm, so you want to trade with ? And you want it to be quiet. What makes you think I will accept such a deal?" The Baron asked.

"Because I can tell you are a man of profit, you live for the gain and the wealth. Refusing now would be like throwing away a huge avenue to be wealthy, you don’t want that now, do you?" Aric asked.

The Baron let out a sly smile. "So I get my freedom, and a connection that might be very valuable, and all I need to do is keep quiet? I think this is a very nice deal.

But whatever goods you send to , you can only send exclusively to , no other kingdoms or towns. Whatever you trade with us, you can’t trade with others.

If you can agree to this, then we have a deal." The Baron said. Aric smiled when he heard that, he bit into his finger and used his blood as a stamp. "I agree, Baron," Aric said. He pushed the contract over to the Baron to be signed.

The Baron, seeing that Aric signed without hesitation, signed as well, eager to get into business. Imdiately after he let his blood touch the contract, the contract shattered into light particles.
