Aric found Ron resting with so of the other goblins. Imdiately they saw Aric, they all got up and bowed to him. Aric was stunned by the greeting; it wasn’t sothing he was used to. He let out a nervous chuckle.

"Nice work, you guys, you are really proving yourselves," he said first before walking to et Ron.

"Ron, I need your help with sothing quick," Aric said.

"Whatever it is, Master," Ron replied.

"Good, I need a board, from wood. It has to be just a few centiters thick and pretty large. It’s a simple project, so I don’t think you need a blueprint for it," Aric said.

"Master, you could make the explanation faster by sharing the image of what you are thinking of the sa way you did when we made the wall," Ron said.

Aric’s eyes brightened; he had completely forgotten that he could even do that. He showed the image he was thinking of to Ron through telepathy.

"I can make this easily, Master," Ron said, eager to get to work.

"Good, you can get to it then, and I’ll paint the board after you are done. Just find ," Aric said. He turned and left imdiately, waving his hands as he walked.

It felt good to be able to easily delegate work to others, and they would get it done easily. Aric walked over the bridge, his feet hit the ground on the other side, when suddenly, a strong killing intent hit him.

He turned toward the direction he felt the killing intent coming from; it was approaching at a very quick pace.

Aric noticed that he wasn’t the only one that sensed the killing intent; all the spirits were looking in that direction as well.

Aric imdiately dashed toward the gate. The spirits moved as well, reaching the gate at the sa ti as him.

"Soone is coming," Unara said imdiately she saw Aric.

"I know, I felt the killing intent, but you shouldn’t worry about that for now. Continue what you are doing, I’ll check it out," Aric said.

"That’s not happening," Pentharis said. He folded his arms in a rebellious stance.

"I’m with Pentharis on this one. Lady Ariel will not be happy if she found out that we let you go out to fight sothing unknown," Unara said.

"You guys are scared of her more than ? I’m supposed to be your master," Aric said.

"We are definitely scared of her. Didn’t you see her fight? We don’t want her to snap," Treshan said. "Her flas burned hotter than mine," he continued.

"Enough, just head back. I’ll handle the situation. I’m sure it’s nothing too major. You can watch from a safe distance maybe, in case it gets out of hand," Aric said. He didn’t wait for their reply and dashed out of the gate.

He ran in the direction of the killing intent. It got thicker and thicker as he got closer, and finally, he could sense the presence of the figure.

He stopped when he saw the figure running toward him. It was none other than Gorin. Aric’s lips curled up in ecstasy when he saw Gorin. Fate worked in mysterious ways, bringing back the goblin he wanted.

Gorin’s eyes flashed with rage, his teeth bared imdiately he saw the half-elf. He pulled his sword from his back in robotic perfection. Gorin leaped into the air, his sword pulled to his back, with both hands on the grip.

He let out a roar, his voice reverberating through the air. Birds of all types flew from the trees, scared of the roar.

Aric’s smile didn’t go down; it stayed fixed on his face. Thick roots shot out of the ground, five, all shooting for Gorin.

"This ti I won’t let you get away," Aric said.

Gorin slashed down when the roots were close to him. His sword moved with explosive force, mana coated the blade.

The blade cut through all the roots easily. Gorin didn’t stop; he continued his path toward Aric. Aric’s grin got wider. "You think you got through?" Aric asked. Suddenly, the roots that were cut grew back and grabbed onto Gorin’s limbs, with one root wrapping around his neck.

Gorin struggled, pulling at the roots but he couldn’t break free.

"Arghhhh!" Gorin roared. He bent his head forward forcefully, he bit into the root, and ripped it apart with his teeth. He tore through the roots completely.

But the roots grew back almost imdiately, wrapping around the neck again.

"Forget about it. There’s no way you are getting out. Your elent is earth, and I noticed that you need to be in contact with earth to be able to do anything.

And no matter how much you bite or rip through those roots, they will grow back as long as I have mana," Aric said.

Gorin growled in rage. He didn’t care about what Aric said. He bit into the roots over and over again, his anger rising with every ti he bit into it.

As his rage grew, a red crystal pushed out of Gorin’s forehead. The crystal lit up with red flas. The flas spread all over Gorin’s body, burning up the roots imdiately.

Gorin fell to the ground, covered in red flas. Aric was stunned by the flas; he didn’t expect that. Suddenly, Gorin charged, his feet left a trail of flas on the ground, his sword covered in flas.

He was like a wild bull, rushing forward with ferocity. Aric didn’t want to wait for him to get there. He cast his spell and earth spikes shot out of the ground, trying to impale Gorin, but he wasn’t even hindered by them. He slashed down all the spikes with a huge burst of speed.

He got through the spikes and swung at Aric.

"Shit," Aric cursed. The blade was already coming for his head, but he didn’t panic. A thick root shot out of the ground and blocked the blade, giving Aric enough ti to retreat a few steps back.
