Aric helped her take the bags to the farm and placed them on the ground. He looked at the work they had done and was quite happy with it—it looked good.

"So, are you guys planting now?" he asked.

"Yeah, but we will have Septa create a little shower for us first before we release the irrigated water," Elisa said.

"You guys have co to know a lot about it so soon," Aric said.

"It’s because of the information you provided. There’s no way we would have been able to do this. That being said, the crops we have to plant quite normally take months to grow, even if we doctor the best manure for it," Elisa said.

"That’s true, but it won’t be that long. I have a spell that can quicken the growth of small plants. I want to assu that small plants will be anything that aren’t trees.

So when you have planted the seedlings and seeds, I’ll do my part after they sprout. With that and also the manure, we’ll surely have them mature in a shorter ti," Aric said.

"That’s great then, I’ll get back to work," she said. Aric nodded and walked away.

As he walked back to the house, he had a bad feeling. He looked up at the sky and saw the sa bird as before. Imdiately after he spotted the bird, the system sent a ssage.

[Ti remaining: 30 mins]

Ti had co faster than he had expected. He didn’t want the enemies to take him unaware, so they had to make their move now.

"Goblins, get ard," Silva spoke to all the goblins telepathically. They all dropped whatever they were doing and rushed to pick weapons from the neatly arranged stack next to the house.

They all took their pick and lined up in front of Silva. Ariel, Elisa, and the spirits saw this, and they imdiately knew that it was ti to get serious.

"Ron, you know the plan—three goblin groups. Two use the gate at the other side of the stream, while the other group uses the main gate.

Spread far into the forest, but keep a line of sight with here, and keep your ears open for any other instructions," Aric instructed.

"Understood, master," Ron said, and imdiately they scattered into three groups. Lucas and Gunam led one group in the direction of the second gate, while Ron led the others through the first.

After they left, Silva walked to the goblin building, where the two captured goblins were. He walked inside and saw both of them leaned against a wall.

"The battle is about to start. Your brothers will be heading for us. Now, the agreent is that I take you willingly to know that you are not trying to backstab ," Aric said. He stood in front of them, looking right into their eyes.

"Do we have a deal?" he asked.

"If that is what it will take for you to have total trust in us, then we have no issues with that," one spoke.

"Good," Aric said and stretched his hand out to the one that spoke. The goblin took his hand, and Silva activated the taming.

It worked without an issue, and the goblin beca his tad monster.

"Since I’ve tad you now, I believe you deserve a na. Your na will be Rinka," Aric said. He felt a huge amount of mana leave him, and that shocked him because this was the first ti he lost that much mana from naming.

He stretched his hand to the second goblin as well. The goblin took his hand, and the taming went without issues.

"Your na will be Ginka."

He felt the sa imnse mana loss, but he waved it off—he didn’t have ti to worry about that.

"Now that I’m certain that your loyalty lies with , follow ," Aric said. They both got off the ground and followed him out.

Everyone else was waiting for Aric to co out. They saw him send the goblins out, so that ant the battle was about to start, right?

Aric ca out with both goblins and headed to et Ariel. She and Elisa were still on the farm.

"Elisa, I’d like for you to stay here. Rinka and Ginka will help you with the planting," Aric said. He turned his attention to Ariel. "You’ll be going with . Get your bow and sword ready," he said.

She didn’t waste a mont. She left the farm and ran to get her stuff.

"So, it’s starting?" Pentharis asked. The spirits were all with him, ready to make their move.

"All of you already know what you have to do. Let’s protect our ho, alright?"

"You don’t have to tell us. We will make sure that we stop anyone that tries to bring down our ho," Pentharis said.

This was the first ti that Aric had seen Pentharis speak like this—it showed that Pentharis actually cared about them.

Ariel returned with her bow around her shoulder and a full quiver. Her sword hung on her waist, and she also put on her battle armor, the one she had t Aric in.

"Alright, guys, best of luck," Aric said. He and Ariel headed for the gate as well.

______________

Over two hundred hobgoblins marched out of the Cave of the Forest Terror, each one holding a weapon, with loose armor pieces on their bodies.

Leading this massive army were three massive hobgoblins—Gorin, the leader, and the two shamans he was asked to bring with him.

Gorin had on full armor that covered his entire body, while a massive sword hung on his back. He gave off the aura of a terrifying warrior who had seen many battles.

He stood in place as the goblins readied themselves. After a few minutes, he pulled his sword from his back and lifted it into the air. The sight of the sword pulled the attention of all the goblins.

He pointed the sword forward, and the goblins charged forward into the forest, headed for Aric.
