The goblins went on to start digging the foundation, with Ron, Lucas, and Gunam leading the ten that were digging. The last fifteen goblins stood with Aric, ready for the wood to start moving out.

Aric got the tools ready and started working on the planks. He got to it, and a few seconds later, he had already cut up the first log—exactly ten feet tall. Three goblins picked up the plank that Aric cut up and started heading in the direction of the ones digging.

They got to the end of the foundation, and the first goblins had actually made good progress in a short ti.

The three goblins placed the plank onto the ground, making sure it stood well—three feet into the ground and seven feet above ground.

This process continued, with Aric making the planks, the goblins taking them, and placing them into the foundation that had been dug. He was quite shocked at the speed that they were moving at.

He thought that they would not be able to move fast without Ariel, but he was wrong. In less than an hour, they had covered two hundred ters—only fifty ters were left before they had finished planting that first side.

Suddenly, Aric heard a loud scream from inside the house. He dropped his tools imdiately and dashed toward the house.

He pushed the door open and saw Ariel standing there, looking at the young lady who was at the corner of the room, screaming and trembling.

Aric walked behind Ariel. He placed his hand on her shoulder. "What's happening?" he asked.

"Well, she just woke up, and unluckily for her, the first thing she saw was an elf," Ariel said.

Aric understood the situation. He walked closer to the lady. She tried to move back in fear, her eyes watching Aric closely.

"Please stay away. Please don't do anything to ," she said, trembling and crying.

Aric bent down in front of her. "We aren't trying to hurt you. My na is Aric. I found you in the hands of goblins and decided to save you.

I'm a little hurt that you would feel I want to hurt you, even though I am the one who saved you," Aric said.

She looked at Aric, not sure of what to do. He was saying that he saved her, but how true was that? "My teammates will co for . If you do anything to , they will get you," she tried to threaten, but her voice was still shaking.

"Your team?" Aric said. He faked a sober expression and spoke. "When we arrived at the goblin nest, they had killed your teammates already—or I think they were your teammates.

Two ladies and three n, right?" Aric said.

When she heard that, her eyes opened wide in shock. She had a look of terror.

"No, no, no! They can't die. They can't die!" she said eagerly.

Aric watched her, putting on his best lying face. "I'm sorry," Aric said. He got up and gave her so distance. "We will allow you to rest a bit. We have sothing to do outside. I can assure you that we don't want to hurt you," Aric said and tapped Ariel. The both of them left the lady inside.

Aric walked out with Ariel. The goblins were still moving the planks he had already cut up, and they were almost done with the remaining forty ters.

"Aric, I need your help across the stream to clear up the trees over there," Aric said. Ariel looked in the direction that he was talking about.

"Alright, but if the lady cos out of the room, call . We don't know how dangerous she might be. She might try to attack you or sothing," Ariel said.

"I'll do that. Thanks for looking out for ," Aric said.

Ariel smiled. She went and carried the axe before heading over the stream to the other side.

Now that Ariel was here, Aric was sure that he would be able to get the wall done in no ti. He imdiately returned to his woodwork, cutting up the planks as fast as he could for the goblins to line up.

A few minutes later, they had already lined up the whole two hundred and fifty ters. Now he had to go to the other side and mark it up as well to make the first wall placent.

But as he was about to go over, the lady wrapped in the sheets took a step outside. But imdiately, her eyes landed on the goblins working. The trauma of what she had gone through at the hands of the goblins kicked in.

"No, no, no! I'll not go back! Stay away from !" she yelled from the bottom of her guts.

Aric turned and saw her. She picked up a stick and charged at one of the goblins, completely disregarding her injuries.

Aric imdiately charged at her. He ran as fast as he could, and before she got to the goblin she had in her sight, he tackled her to the ground.

He stayed on top of her and held both of her hands. She scread and kicked like a wild beast, her eyes looking crazed.

Aric used his knees and trapped her legs between his knees. He did his best to totally immobilize her. "Calm down!" he yelled at her, trying to get her to stop.

But suddenly, a blast of wind sent him flying off her body.

He landed roughly on the ground as the girl got back on her feet. She charged at Aric, her hand stretched out and fingers spread like claws.

Aric got to his feet as fast as he could. She swung her fist at him, but he dodged. He grabbed her hand and bent it behind her back. He used his other hand and wrapped it around her neck.

She used her free hand to claw at his arm around her neck, but he didn't let go. He choked her so hard, oxygen started getting cut off from her head.

"I said calm the fuck down," he barked at her.
