March 25th, 2028.

Michael was having a good coffee in his office while watching the news about him on national television. He was being praised for being the youngest entrepreneur to join the aerospace and defense industry and for signing a contract with the President of the Philippines. It was indeed good marketing and advertisent for him.

"I'd like to thank Mr. Reyes for developing our protection systems," the President of the Philippines was saying. "His contributions to our national defense are invaluable, and we are proud to have such an innovative mind working to ensure the safety of our nation.

With the advanced missile systems and aerospace technology provided by Reyes Corporation, we are now better equipped to handle any threats that may co our way."

The cara display shifted from the interview of the President of the Philippines to the actual contract signing where he can be seen beaming with a smile.

Michael smirked, and took another sip of coffee. Then—there was a knock on the door.

"Mr. Reyes, can I co in?"

It was Juliet's voice, aning it was ti for a morning report. He grabbed the remote from his desk and put it on mute before signaling Juliet to enter.

Juliet stepped into the office, a tablet in her hand and a determined look on her face. "Good morning, Michael. We have a few updates that require your attention."

Michael nodded, motioning for her to take a seat. "Go ahead, Juliet."

Juliet sat down and began her report. "First, the production of the new Guardian Falcon missiles is ahead of schedule. Our engineers have managed to streamline the process, so we should be able to et the increased demand from the governnt contracts."

"Excellent," Michael replied, pleased with the news. "What about our other enterprise."

"Well, our solar panels are ever increasingly popular in the market. We've secured several large-scale contracts with both dostic and international clients. Sales have increased by 20% this quarter," Juliet reported, scrolling through her tablet. "As for the dipod, it continues to perform exceptionally well.

The latest figures show a 15% increase in sales, primarily driven by the expanding markets in Europe and Asia."

Michael nodded, satisfied. "And the Alzheir's disease pill?"

Juliet smiled. "The Alzheir's pill is a ga-changer. Since its approval, we've seen a steady increase in sales. This quarter alone, we've experienced a 25% rise, thanks to positive clinical results and widespread dia coverage."

"Good to hear," Michael said, feeling a sense of pride. "What about our transportation and automobile division?"

Juliet continued, "Our transportation enterprise is also making significant strides. Several transportation cooperatives are starting to shift to our EV minibuses. We've received bulk orders from major cities across the Philippines and even so interest from neighboring countries. The demand for our electric vehicles is growing, and we're ramping up production to et it."

"The VR?"

"Well, as for VR, it's gaining traction in China, Japan, and South Korea thanks to the genre available for them to play. Most of the users preferred playing the VRMMORPG ga as it kind of offers them an escape from the real world. Though there are skeptics as to how we developed the ga, as so experts said that building a ga like those can take a decade."

"Those vultures called experts are on us all the ti. Let's just ignore them and continue delivering services to our custors," Michael said, waving off the criticism.

Juliet nodded in agreent. "Understood. I'll ensure our marketing team keeps highlighting the positive feedback and user experiences. Now, regarding our transportation enterprise, we've also received so interest from European markets. They're impressed with our EV minibuses and want to explore potential collaborations—"

As Juliet was speaking, there was another knock on the door.

Juliet glanced over her shoulder and spoke. "Mr. Reyes is occupied at the mont—"

"It's ," David said simply, cutting her off.

Michael looked up, a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "Let him in, Juliet."

David stepped into the office, his expression serious. "Mr. Reyes, we need to talk. It's urgent."

Michael gestured for Juliet to hold on and turned his attention to David. "What's going on?"

David closed the door behind him and looked at Juliet, then back at Michael. "It's best if we speak of it alone."

Michael understood David's request as he regarded it seriously. "Juliet, thank you for the updates. We'll continue this later."

Juliet nodded, gathering her tablet. "Of course, Mr. Reyes. I'll be in my office if you need anything." She exited the room, closing the door softly behind her.

Once they were alone, Michael turned to David. "Alright, what's so urgent?"

David's expression remained serious as he continued. "We've confird that the CIA agents were sent to investigate your technology. They believe it's too advanced to have been developed without external help. Mitchell, one of the agents, hinted at the possibility of a powerful entity backing you."

Michael's eyes narrowed. "A powerful entity? Did she say who?"

David shook his head. "No nas, but she was certain that soone else is involved. The CIA is determined to find out who or what is behind Reyes Corporation. They're not going to stop until they have answers."

"Well, based on that report of yours, the CIA won't be off my back for another one or two years. What happened to the agents that you nabbed?"

David couldn't answer imdiately.

Michael sensed sothing was off.

"Did you kill them?"

"To be honest, we killed one of them, the other one is alive. Don't worry, as I have said to you, CIA agents are told that in the case that they were caught, the United States will deny any involvent in their operations."

He continued. "The other one, she broke under the pressure and gave us valuable information. But she's on the verge, Michael. Keeping her alive any longer might be a risk."

"This is going to be another scandal," Michael said, rubbing his temples. "The CIA is on us, and when their agents go MIA, they will assu it was Reyes Corporation."

"Mr. Reyes, I believe it's worth knowing that they are on you because of your advanced technology. In one way or another, they will take whatever it is that you have from you and use it to their interest," David reasoned.

"You leave for a mont now, Mr. Natividad. Thank you for your intel."

David left Michael in his office, leaving him alone contemplating.

"Well, the United States is really getting suspicious of . They even think that there is soone handing technology, which is technically true," Michael muttered to himself. "What a pain in the ass."
