At the Manila International Airport.

Michael was walking down the terminal, feeling the familiar rush of travel. He had just returned from a successful lawsuit trip and was looking forward to a brief respite before diving back into work. As he neared the exit, the noise grew louder.

Stepping through the doors, he was t with a throng of journalists and fans, all eagerly awaiting his arrival. Caras flashed, and microphones were thrust toward him.

"Mr. Reyes! Can you give us a comnt on the recent court case?" a journalist shouted.

"Michael, what are your thoughts on the appeal by VirtuReal Innovations?" another one added.

Fans were holding up signs and cheering. "We love you, Michael!" "You're an inspiration!"

Michael smiled and raised his hand for silence. The crowd hushed, the journalists poised to catch his every word.

"Thank you all for your support," Michael began and continued. "The recent court case was challenging, but I'm grateful for the justice system's thorough and fair process. We have always maintained that our technology was developed independently, and we stand by that truth. As for the appeal, we are prepared to face it with the sa integrity and dedication."

The journalists fired more questions, but Michael politely excused himself, promising a more detailed press conference at a later date. He made his way through the crowd, shaking hands with a few fans and exchanging brief pleasantries.

But as he made his way to the waiting car, Michael felt a growing sense of unease. It was a feeling he couldn't shake as if soone's eyes were fixed on him from a distance. He glanced around subtly, trying to pinpoint the source, but the throngs of people made it nearly impossible. There were too many faces, too many caras, and too much movent to identify anyone specific.

Juliet noticed Michael's distraction and asked, "Everything alright?"

Michael nodded, forcing a smile. "Yeah, just a bit overwhelming, that's all."

As they approached the car, Michael continued to scan the crowd. His instincts told him sothing was off, but he couldn't see anyone suspicious. They reached the vehicle, and Michael quickly got inside, feeling a small sense of relief as the door closed behind him.

The car pulled away from the curb, and Michael glanced back at the crowd through the tinted window. His eyes scanned the sea of faces one last ti, but nothing stood out.

anwhile, CIA agents John Harris and Stacy Mitchell were observing the scene from a discreet distance. They had been assigned to monitor Michael Reyes due to his recent technological advancents and the potential implications for national security.

As Michael glanced back at the crowd through the tinted window, Harris noted his wary expression.

"He's got good instincts," Harris murmured to Mitchell. "He's definitely aware that sothing's up."

Mitchell nodded, keeping her eyes on Michael's vehicle as it pulled away.

"We'll need to be careful. He might already suspect that he's being watched."

Harris adjusted his earpiece. "Agreed. Let's stick to the plan and maintain our distance. We don't want to spook him just yet. Our priority is to gather more information on how he's developed his technology so quickly."

Mitchell checked her watch. "He's probably heading her way back to BGC Golden Topper, Reyes's Headquarters."

"That's possibly it, but let's go to Rodriguez Rizal, where the Virtual Reality Pods are being manufactured. Let's nab one of the employees and extract any information we can," Harris suggested.

Mitchell nodded in agreent. "Alright, let's move. We need to be discreet and efficient. We can't afford to draw attention to our actions."

As they made their way to their vehicle, Harris and Mitchell discussed their plan in detail. They knew that extracting information from one of Reyes's employees at the manufacturing site would be a risky move, but it might provide the answers they needed about the rapid technological advancents at Reyes Corporation.

"Who do you think would be the best target?" Mitchell asked as they drove towards Rodriguez Rizal.

"We need soone with access to the developnt process, soone who can give us detailed insights," Harris replied. "I have a contact who provided us with a list of key personnel. There's a senior engineer nad Carlos ndoza. He's been with Reyes Corporation for a while and is deeply involved in the VR project."

"Carlos ndoza it is, then," Mitchell said, her expression determined. "We need to ensure this operation goes smoothly. No mistakes."

As they approached the manufacturing facility, Harris and Mitchell parked a safe distance away and observed the building. They noted the security asures in place and the general layout of the facility. After a brief discussion, they decided to wait until ndoza left the building at the end of his shift.

Hours passed, and finally, they saw ndoza exiting the facility. Harris and Mitchell exchanged a nod and quickly moved into position. As ndoza walked towards his car, Harris approached him from behind, covering his mouth and dragging him into a nearby alley. Mitchell followed closely, ensuring no one witnessed the abduction.

"Don't make a sound," Harris whispered nacingly into ndoza's ear. "We just want to talk."

Terrified, ndoza nodded, his eyes wide with fear.

"Let's get him into the van," Mitchell said, opening the back door of their unmarked vehicle. They quickly shoved ndoza inside and drove off, heading towards a secure location they had prepared earlier.

Once they arrived at the safe house, they tied ndoza to a chair and removed the blindfold. Harris and Mitchell stood in front of him, their expressions serious.

"Carlos ndoza, we need information about Reyes Corporation's VR technology," Harris began. "Tell us everything you know about the developnt process and any unusual occurrences that might explain the rapid advancents."

ndoza hesitated, his eyes darting around the room. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just an engineer."

Harris leaned in closer, his voice cold. "We know you're more than just an engineer, Carlos. We have evidence of your involvent in the core developnt team. Now, start talking, or things will get very uncomfortable for you."

"Do you really want to die for a company like Reyes Corporation?" Harris continued.

ndoza, shaking and sweating, tried to gather his thoughts. "Okay, okay, I'll tell you what I know. But please, don't hurt ."

Mitchell crossed her arms and nodded. "Start talking."
