Aurelian Pri....

The crown jewel of the Aurelia Continent and the first capital of the Aurelian Federation.

This city has risen from centuries steeped in blood, ambition, and empire, its very streets seem to hum with history.

Here, politics is not just a ga; it’s a grand theater where the real power players operate far beyond the gleaming Parliant dos and towering glass edifices.

To the east, nestled between majestic mountain ridges that roll like waves of stone, lies an estate older than the Federation itself.

This palace blends seamlessly into its mountainous surroundings but reveals its noble design upon closer inspection: weathered stone walls polished by ti, expansive courtyards, and terraced gardens that sip from natural springs.

This is no ordinary estate; it is the hidden heart of the Whitmore Family, the true rulers of the Aurelian Federation and one of the Eleven families that shape Panterra from behind a veil of secrecy.

Its gates remain firmly shut to outsiders, and its na is spoken only in hushed whispers.

Today, within this cavernous study adorned with history, two generations of Whitmores convene.

---

The study itself stands as a monunt to power. High-vaulted ceilings arch overhead like ancient giants watching over their domain.

Walls are lined with bookshelves overflowing with leather-bound tos filled with law, history, and secret treaties long hidden from public view.

The air carries a rich blend of polished wood and aged parchnt mingled with faint wisps of smoke from a crackling fire in a marble hearth.

At one end sits an imposing desk, more throne than workspace, symbolizing authority rather than re administration.

Behind it looms a tall window framing misty mountains outside, where fog clings like ancient sentinels guarding secrets untold.

In this room steeped in history, anyone who enters feels the weight of centuries pressing down,a reminder that true power doesn’t need to shout; it simply exists.

Seated near the fire is Archibald Whitmore, the elder statesman and forr Head of the Family.

His white hair is neatly combed back; his posture remains upright despite his nearly seventy years.

His eyes pierce through any pretense with clarity befitting soone who wears authority as comfortably as his casual attire.

Standing before him is Edmund Whitmore, his impeccably dressed son wearing a tailored navy-blue suit complented by gold-rimd glasses.

With smooth dark hair ticulously styled and an aura exuding refinent, he appears gentler than his father but beneath that polished exterior lies unyielding resolve.

---

"You took long enough this ti, Father," Edmund remarks lightly but warmly beneath his formality. "I began to think they’d decided to keep you at Covenant."

Archibald’s smile was small but genuine,"When eleven old wolves gather around one table, Edmund, they always find sothing worth arguing about. This ti, it kept longer than I expected."

"The Covenant again," Edmund murmured, his tone neutral yet his eyes sparkled with curiosity.

Archibald waved a hand dismissively. "Just old n with old grudges. Nothing you need to trouble yourself with."

He leaned in slightly, a hint of concern creeping into his voice. "But you summoned to the study before I even had a chance to rest. That tells sothing has gone awry. What troubles you?"

Edmund adjusted his glasses and inclined his head thoughtfully. "There is... news concerning the Osborn Family."

The very ntion of their na seed to shift the atmosphere in the room.

Archibald stilled, his expression unchanged but the silence deepened until only the crackle of the fire filled the void. "Go on."

"For years," Edmund began carefully, "we monitored the Osborn branch in Neo-Luminara. You rember,a decaying branch, their influence waning and their businesses folding one by one. They appeared finished, on the brink of extinction."

Archibald’s eyes narrowed faintly as he pressed for more: "And?"

"Then," Edmund continued, "about a year ago, sothing changed dramatically. They revived not gradually but abruptly,as if an unseen hand had lifted them from obscurity! Their assets expanded and ventures multiplied; they built the largest comrcial plaza on the continent! Now their industries generate trillions of unicreds!"

He hesitated before adding gravely, "And Father... a few months ago, they moved entirely off our radar. It’s as if they vanished."

The words hung heavily in the air.

Archibald leaned back in his chair, maintaining an inscrutable expression. "Is this true?"

Edmund t his gaze squarely and replied firmly, "Yes! Verified by multiple sources, they are no longer that dying branch we dismissed."

Archibald’s gaze drifted toward the flas as silence enveloped them for several monts before he finally spoke softly: "Strange... very strange."

"You once asked ," Archibald said at last, breaking the tension, "why we keep such close watch on the Osborns, even when they were declining."

"Indeed," Edmund admitted cautiously. "I thought it was rely precautionary,a way to ensure another rival family never rises again."

A faint twitch crossed Archibald’s mouth as he replied: "Partly true but there are deeper reasons at play here! Their bloodline... it was never ant to fade quietly."

With that he didn’t saying anything and juT continue to smile warmly.

He looked his son again, a flicker of urgency in his eyes. "Edmund, tell ,what news from our agents in Neo-Arcavia? Have they uncovered anything?"

Edmund shook his head, the weight of disappointnt etched on his face. "Nothing solid, Father, the city is a labyrinth of secrets. We’ve heard whispers but nothing we can pin down."

Archibald’s frown deepened as he stared into the distance. "Neo-Arcavia has always been a foggy nest of intrigue. If our quarry chooses to hide there..."

He let out a slow breath, resigned. "Then so be it."

After a mont’s pause, Edmund gathered the courage to voice the question that had haunted him for years.

"Father... we’ve dedicated decades to this pursuit. Our family has invested resources and lives into this hunt, what exactly are we searching for?"

Archibald’s gaze was fixed on the flickering flas, their light casting shadows that danced across his features, half warmth, half sternness.

Finally, he spoke with gravity. "What we seek, Edmund, is not re treasure or superficial power; it’s sothing far more profound,a destiny changer."

His words hung in the air like an unsolved riddle.

Edmund furrowed his brow in confusion. "A destiny changer...?"

Archibald offered a faint smile and shook his head gently. "So truths aren’t handed to us; they’re revealed when the ti is right. Just rember this: if the Osborns find it before we do, it will disrupt the delicate balance we’ve maintained for generations, and believe , the Eleven won’t tolerate such upheaval."

An uneasy silence enveloped them, thick with unspoken secrets.

The fire crackled softly, sending sparks swirling into the night sky.

Edmund broke the silence first. "Then we must keep an even closer watch on the Osborns, they’re clearly up to sothing if they’re making a coback."

"Exactly," Archibald replied quietly but firmly. "No family rises without reason and every reason cos at a price."

Their eyes locked across the study,a silent acknowledgnt that two generations were united by one undeniable truth: the ga had shifted dramatically and shadows were stretching longer than ever before.

Neither man voiced it aloud; yet both felt it deeply, the Osborns had reentered play.

And soon enough, Panterra would feel those ripples spreading through their world.
