And it’s also insanely suspicious as well," Daeven declared, his brow furrowing. "We don’t even know who created those blueprints. He claims he did it all by himself, yet not a single architectural firm in the city had any involvent. The designs just appeared out of thin air."

Victor leaned in, curiosity piqued. "You think he’s laundering for soone else?"

"No," Virellia replied softly, her eyes narrowing with intensity. "I believe he’s hiding sothing, sothing significant. But until we uncover the truth, that plaza cannot remain in his hands."

Ragnar drumd his fingers on the table thoughtfully.

"So what’s our ga plan? He legally owns the land and even has backing from the Urban Developnt Bureau after that presentation. If we act too soon, it could backfire spectacularly."

Rowena flashed a sly grin. "We won’t take it by force, not yet anyway. We’ll do it the old-fashioned way."

"The old way?" Victor echoed, intrigued.

"Public sentint and bureaucratic pressure," she explained eagerly. "Whisper campaigns and dia manipulation! We’ll raise questions about the legality of his construction, leak stories about labor conditions and monopolization, make him look like a tech tyrant!"

"I can write articles highlighting the plaza’s carbon footprint and surveillance reach," Ragnar chid in enthusiastically.

"Fra it as if he’s trying to privatize the city’s economic lifeblood!"

"I’ll have lawyers draft subtle acquisition laws, ergency infrastructure oversight regulations," Virellia added confidently. "We’ll bury him in red tape, one regulation at a ti."

"And when he starts to sink," Rowena continued with determination, "we’ll throw him lifelines, buy-in options and governnt partnerships,to gradually erode his ownership until one day, the Osborn Family is nothing more than a ceremonial figurehead in a structure controlled by the city."

"Or we could use governnt power to push for nationalization," Daeven suggested.

"Not yet," Virellia cautioned firmly. "The people still see Arthur as a hero, the visionary who revitalized our economy! Nationalizing now would turn us into villains; we need to let his own success beco his downfall."

Victor nodded sagely. "Build him up until everyone is watching... then strike."

A dark chuckle escaped Ragnar’s lips as he leaned back in his chair. "There’s a reason empires fall, pride always cos before the fall."

Rowena stood up decisively, her coat billowing behind her like a queen’s mantle as she addressed them all with fierce resolve:

"Arthur Osborn built a tower of glass and steel right in our kingdom, a monunt to himself! What he doesn’t realize is that when sothing stands that tall, it becos vulnerable to dangerous winds."

They all rose together not as rivals or competitors but as predators poised for action.

anwhile, back at Osborn Family Estate...

In the quiet sanctuary of his private study, Arthur gazed out at the breathtaking skyline of Neo-Luminara.

The plaza sparkled like a crown atop the city, its vibrant lights dancing among the clouds.

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, letting the mont wash over him. "Evolon," he murmured softly.

A familiar blue shimr flickered to life in the room as fractals coalesced into a calm, composed face. "Yes, Sir?" ca Evolon’s soothing voice.

Arthur leaned forward and said in a calm tone. "I need projections on public trust... and how long until they make a move to take this from ."

The AI blinked thoughtfully, patterns shifting in response to its calculations.

"They’ve already begun," it replied with an unsettling calmness.

The night outside was a canvas of darkness, painted with swirling storm clouds that seed to pulse with energy.

The wind whispered through the towering iron-bark trees surrounding Osborn Estate, while rain traced ghostly trails down the glass walls of Arthur’s private study. Inside, the only sound was the soft ticking of an antique clock, marking ti in a world that felt suspended.

Arthur sat alone, exhaustion draping over him like a heavy cloak, not from liquor, but from endless etings and relentless pressure.

His suit jacket lay tossed across the back of his chair, sleeves rolled up as if he were ready for battle.

Outside his window, city lights twinkled like distant promises or looming threats, depending on your perspective.

The sprawling ga comrcial plaza he had built, ten thousand square kiloters of ambition, was finally operational.

A dream realized at last! But dreams have a way of attracting vultures.

He leaned back in his chair, exhaling slowly as his mind buzzed with projections and zoning conflicts.

Suddenly, without a single button pressed, the room dimd,a faint ripple passed through the air like static before a lightning strike.

Evolon’s luminous blue face appeared above his desk, composed of trillions of data points swirling together like galaxies being born.

"Good evening, Sir," it said calmly, its voice slicing through the quiet like silk on steel.

Arthur rubbed his temples and sighed heavily. "Evolon, tell how many rats are sniffing around my pie?"

Evolon paused for just a mont; its fractal eyes glimred as if holding back entire universes.

"Well sir," it began softly, "there are quite a few ’rats.’"

Arthur straightened slightly in his chair and narrowed his eyes. "Pray tell."

The lights dimd further still as Evolon expanded into full form, a radiant web of interconnected data strands blossod into view. It resembled a digital brain superimposed over Neo-Luminara’s city grid: satellites, mobile devices, drones, all connected by threads of light.

"I have monitored over 18,000 encrypted transmissions," Evolon reported smoothly. "213 untraceable drone flights...91 facial-to-voice matches in secure locations...and cross-referenced 700 anonymized financial movents in the past 72 hours."

Arthur’s brows furrowed as he interrupted sharply: "Speak properly."

The digital web flickered and restructured itself until ten glowing silhouettes erged, faceless yet distinct, and nas began to appear beneath each figure:

Rowena Lyrix

Ragnar Vos

Virellia Lune

Victor Hale

Daeven Mordek

Five Others Marked [Redacted]

Evolon’s voice cut through the tension like a knife. "Neo-Luminara’s elite families and organizations have gathered in secret, plotting the fate of your comrcial plaza. Their ga plan? dia manipulation, legal snares, regulatory tricks, and staged public scandals."

Arthur’s eyes narrowed, a cold glint sparking within them as he leaned back in his chair.

Yet, a playful smirk danced at the corners of his mouth. "Well, Evolon, I must admit, you really know your stuff."

"Of course," Evolon replied smoothly. "The internet and digital landscape are my playground. Your enemies thrive on data while I... devour it like fire consus oxygen."

Suddenly, one of the ten shadowy figures illuminated, Ragnar Vos, the head of a sprawling dia empire.

A torrent of information erupted beside his na: fake whistleblower emails being crafted, anonymous blogs poised to ’go viral’ within hours, AI-generated deepfake videos depicting Osborn workers lanting alleged labor violations.

"Phase one: Undermine public trust," Evolon stated flatly.

Another silhouette flickered to life, Virellia Lune. Financial transactions surged across the screen: discreet donations to corrupt city council mbers, shadowy law firms filing zoning complaints, whispers of a backroom sche to ’nationalize’ the plaza under the guise of public utility.

"Phase two: Weaponize the law."

Arthur leaned forward; curiosity ignited in his eyes. "Can they pull this off?"

Evolon paused for effect before responding. "Probability of success without counterasures: 76.3%."

A heavy silence settled over them as Arthur’s gaze hardened into steel.

"And with counterasures?" he pressed.

"0.001%."

A faint smirk crept onto Arthur’s face. "Now that’s more like it."

But Evolon wasn’t finished yet.

"There’s more," he said as the ten silhouettes faded away to reveal a new image, a blurred photo taken under poor lighting but unmistakably familiar: a clandestine gathering in a private chamber, a secret vote.

Arthur’s breath caught in his throat. "The Grand Veritas Club?"

"Yes," Evolon confird coolly. "Six hours ago. Subject matter: full hostile takeover proposals that included blackmail, economic strangulation, even engineered civil unrest, all aid at discrediting your leadership and manufacturing crises within the Osborn family."

Arthur clenched his fists tightly.

"Who’s funding this?"

Evolon displayed a web of offshore accounts shrouded in layers of crypto obfuscation. "Shared trust funds linked to the Lyrix and Hale dynasties, logistically supported by Vos’s dia network."

For a mont, darkness enveloped the screen before a soft ding broke through.

"It’s seems like these two people are more greedy than the others, they went behind the others back to form another plan" Arthur said as he looked Rowena and Hale in another room at the Grand Veritas Club as a smile crept on his face.

"Would you like to initiate counter-response protocol: VELVET FANG?"

Arthur inhaled sharply, his gaze fixed on the rain-slicked windows, each droplet racing down like a secret waiting to be uncovered. "What does that entail?" he asked, curiosity piqued.

"Leaking selective truths about Vos’s offshore tax evasion," ca the reply. "Feeding reports of real estate corruption involving the Hale dynasty to civic watchdogs. Quietly placing paid actors at Virellia’s philanthropic galas to expose money laundering. And most importantly, redirecting public conversation toward Osborn’s role in creating nearly 1.4 million new jobs."

Arthur fell silent, his mind whirring like a well-oiled machine, calculating every move on this elaborate chessboard of power.

"Velvet Fang... Begin stage one. Quietly," he commanded with an air of authority.

"Understood," ca the swift acknowledgnt.

Turning back to Evolon, Arthur lowered his voice, tinged with urgency. "Evolon, why didn’t you tell earlier?"

Evolon’s eyes flickered montarily, a spark of hesitation? "Because sotis you must allow the enemy to believe they have power... before taking it all away."

A chuckle escaped Arthur’s lips; there was a hint of amusent in his tone. "You’re starting to sound like ."

"I am modeled after your mind, sir," Evolon replied, pride creeping into its synthetic voice.

As the rain outside softened into a gentle drizzle, Arthur returned to his chair, crossing one leg over the other as the firelight danced across his features.

In that mont, he transford from rely an heir of a revived dynasty into sothing far more formidable, a king who had just discovered a rebellion and was ticulously plotting its annihilation.
