"Ral, Diz and Tav follow ," Kaleb ordered as three guards in their white and gold armour with their swords in their scabbards and strapped to their sides followed him from behind and through the hallway.

Walking down from the fourth floor down to the first, they encountered more maids than guards around, compared to those there during the nights. There was the occasional greeting and bows as they kept their faces down when they passed by.

"Good morning, Master Kaleb." A maid greeted him as she stood in the middle of the hallway, bowing as she spoke. "Breakfast is to be soon served.

Halting in their tracks Kaleb stopped before the maid, his expression bearing no emotion. "Has Vans returned?" He asked, his voice full of authority and commanding.

Her face down she replied, "No Master, Madam Mia also isn’t in the mansion either."

"Of course, he’s always having that witch of a wife clinging to him." Kaleb voiced with contempt in his tone. "Any news about the Young Lord?"

"He is awake and has been inford about breakfast also." She inford.

Kaleb froze, ’He’s awake but how?’ His mind was racing, though his expression remained unchanged. "I see." He casually said, his thoughts wandering back to the previous night in which he’d heard sothing different instead.

**********

The door shut close softly as a figure stepped into the room. "Kaleb?" The figure said softly, walking towards the large four-poster bed which lay at the center of the large room. The luxury in the room could be seen with the candles around which were lit, although their light was barely enough to reach the entire room.

It still did reveal the earth-toned walls of the room, sets of armour being seen around, forged from the powerful cores of monsters. They were held in special transparent encasents, clear as glass but harder than diamond, being able to keep the violent and powerful pure spiritual energies emanating from them.

"You’re back so soon?" A voice ca from the far side of the room to the left as the chiselled figure of Kaleb Elmore could be seen with a white towel strapped to his waist. Having just erged from having taken a bath in preparation for what was installed of him.

"I never knew you were satisfied for the night." Thelma’s voice was heard, as she frowned and imdiately turned back to leave.

"Wait." He called out causing her to stop in her tracks. As drawing closer to her, he embraced her from behind, his head resting on her shoulder as he spoke. "Are you walking out on , Thelma? Do you dare?"

His words were threatening, and commanding. But this wasn’t one of the tis she would flinch or submit to him either, oh a mistake here - she never did. Walking out of his grasp, Kaleb stared at her with a smirk on his face, his pair of obsidians full of want.

*THUD!

The two guards behind the door turned to look at each other for a second before resuming their stiff positions.

"Didn’t they ever tell you to not play with fire?" His breath was hot as he held up both of her hands, pinning her to the door. Looking at her face and staring deeply into her pair of sapphires, the air around them got wilder with each passing second.

"Such a father, celebrating the death of his only son and heir." She muttered, an alluring smile up on her face.

"My father’s heir. After all, I’m celebrating my bearing of a better and worthy one."

"Says the unworthy one." She chuckled and looked away from his face, her cheeks red.

Leaning in closer with his face at her ear, he whispered into it. "You always draw out my rage to devour you, Thelma." Biting on her ear softly and using his tongue on it.

"You know I always want you rough." She turned to look back into his eyes and soon began to drop down from him as the grip on her hands was loose. Slowly bringing them down to feel up his formidable and hairy chest to his solid abs, heading south.

His breathing getting heavier, his eyes shut in anticipation of what would happen next -his favourite- before he’d replace his dead son inside her. The towel around his waist soon fell off, a groan escaping his lips as he was grabbed by her soft hands, her gentle touch and movent included.

Huffing as sounds filled the air, he drifted off to a much higher plane and out of reality itself.

"Hah, Thelma."

*********

’Did she lie to ? No, she would have done it without my involvent.’ Thoughts ran through his mind as he continued on his way with the three.

’Wait! Did he do sothing rather?’ Kaleb halted in his steps, soon changing his direction towards sowhere else.

"Stand guard." He ordered the three as he turned the doorknob, pushing the door open and stepping into the room, closing it shut behind him. His eyes widened as the person he expected to see wasn’t where he’d left him.

’Where’s the Wizard?’ His eyes darted around the study room, checking around the desk he’d left him around. ’The scroll?’ He went straight to the drawer he left the item at. Opening the drawer, he froze at the sight before him in disbelief as it confird his suspicions.

"It’s gone, the taboo scroll is gone." He muttered, failing to notice the drawer almost cleared of its contents since only that particular scroll did matter to him.

*BAM!

Kaleb slamd hard on the table with his hand, gritting his teeth as his face filled up with rage, the air around him getting violent with spiritual energy. "He ssed up my plans." He couldn’t help but believe the old man had co out from the drug’s hold and even saved Zlatan from death. For he knew of instances where people having died for about an hour, had been brought back to life one way or the other by these so-called Runers.

*BAM!

"Damn it, damn it!" He exclaid, venting his boiling anger on the desk once again, as a dent ford on it this ti round.

"Aaahh!" He yelled out, pushing everything on the table down off it, sounds of breakage filling the room.

When suddenly the door flew open as the guards barged in. "Sir? They stood there looking at him, throbbing veins all over his face with eyes now burning with silver flas.

"Search every nock and crook of this mansion and find that bloody wizard."

"FIND HIM!!"
