BOOOOOM!
An earth-shattering sound echoed through the forest as a massive crater ford in the ground.
Cracks spiderwebbed outwards, sending clouds of dust and debris swirling into the air.
Monts later, as the dust began to settle, a horrifying sight erged: a colossal hole with a giant creature pinned beneath it.
A long, golden spear pierced through its skull, anchoring it firmly to the ground.
The creature, a panther nearly three ters tall, was covered in hard scales and cloaked in pitch blackness.
But now, it lay lifeless, riddled with deep wounds, brain matter and blood splattered everywhere.
Even in death, the aura emanating from this Tier 6 Magical Beast was dense enough to instill fear.
Suddenly, a figure appeared beside the corpse of the panther, yanking out the golden spear.
Clad in tight-fitting black and gold armor that hugged her form perfectly was Trinity, her long golden hair fluttering freely in the wind.
Despite her beauty being strikingly captivating, her armor bore small cracks stained with blood; she exuded an alluring yet fierce presence.
"Captain! This Abyss Shadow Panther is really strong," another figure exclaid as she flashed into view next to Trinity.
Trinity shook her spear lightly while glancing at lian, the elf with erald green hair and eyes who wore snug light green armor that accentuated her curves.
She had a bow slung across her shoulder and a quiver full of arrows at her side.
"But it looked quite weak in your hands, Captain," lian pouted playfully.
KABOOM!
Just then the ground trembled violently again.
"Big sis! You beat to it again!" A rough voice bood nearby.
"Vice Captain!" lian waved excitedly at Brixton, a towering figure who stood before them like an immovable wall.
"Well, it's not my fault you're slow," Trinity chuckled softly.
"Well the Captain is fast as always " A chuckled sounded as a male elf appeared beside Brixton.
He was draped in a flowing light blue mage robe with silver eyes gleaming beneath his long silky hair.
"Everything taken care of Aegnor?" he asked Trinity with a gentle smile.
"Yes, Captain," he confird as he nodded knowingly. "The others are already on it."
Trinity surveyed their surroundings: they were deep within a devastated forest littered with craters and burn marks, a clear sign of an intense battle that had just unfolded.
"Okay then let's go and et the others.....," she began but suddenly froze mid-sentence.
Her face changed drastically and an in an instant, she vanished from sight!
Brixton, Aegnor, and lian exchanged worried glances before disappearing too.
---
"Motherfucker! Get away from my spoils of war!"
A thunderous shout echoed through the air as a massive golden beam of light shot down from the sky.
"Ahhhhhh!" BOOOOM!
A piercing scream shattered the silence, followed by a deafening explosion that sent dust swirling into the atmosphere.
As it settled, a grueso scene erged: a lifeless body lay sprawled on the ground, its chest impaled by a long spear.
The man's eyes were wide open, frozen in an expression of sheer terror.
Trinity landed gracefully nearby, her face devoid of emotion and her eyes radiating an intense killing intent.
She surveyed the corpse coldly before extracting her spear and scanning the surroundings with lethal focus.
"Big sis!" "Captain!" Brixton, Aegnor, and lian appeared at Trinity's side, their expressions grave.
"What just happened? Did you hear that scream?".
"Captain, is there trouble?".
"Vice Captain, is everything okay?"
Multiple figures materialized around Trinity and her team, each clad in armor and stained with blood from what was clearly an intense battle.
"Don't worry; it's just soone trying to steal our loot," Trinity replied calmly as she continued to scan for threats.
"Damn! These people are despicable!" lian exclaid, fists clenched in anger.
"Yeah, good riddance to that guy," Aegnor said coldly, casting a disdainful glance at the corpse.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Suddenly, applause rang out through the air. Trinity and her companions turned sharply toward the sound, their eyes filled with fierce determination.
Erging from several ters away were armored figures radiating malevolence, a greedy glint evident in their gazes.
"Ventura! I should've known it was you," lian stepped forward defiantly, pointing at one figure who stood at the forefront of this unwelco group.
The man she pointed to wore standard red armor and carried a long sword on his back.
The Mana fluctuations around him indicated he was no ordinary foe, Ventura was a Tier 6 Epic Knight.
Behind him stood others whose power ranged no lower than Tier 4 High Knights.
"Captain Trinity," Ventura smirked mockingly. "Your senses never cease to amaze ."
Trinity remained silent but stared at him with calm intensity; beneath that calm exterior simred unyielding rage.
"Ventura," lian interjected fiercely. "What do you want? You've been stalking us for months now, doesn't it hurt seeing your Adventurer Team mbers fall one by one?"
For a mont, Ventura's gaze flickered toward lian before returning to Trinity, with greed flashing across his features as he appraised her from head to toe.
"Well then," he grinned slyly. "Have you considered my proposal?"
"Well, Captain Trinity, have you given any thought to my proposal?" Ventura flashed a charming smile.
"What proposal is he talking about?" lian whispered as she stepped back toward Brixton, her eyes wide with curiosity.
Brixton leaned in closer and whispered, "He wants to buy our Adventurer Team and rge it with the Battle Wolves Adventurer Team."
Aegnor and lian exchanged shocked glances.
"You an the Battle Wolves? One of the top twenty Diamond Rank Adventurer Teams?" lian gasped.
"Yep, that's the one," Brixton confird with a nod.
"But why hasn't the Captain agreed? The Battle Wolves are incredibly powerful!" Aegnor murmured.
Brixton shook his head knowingly. "You really have no idea what the Battle Wolves are all about, do you?"
Both Aegnor and lian looked at him in confusion.
"The Battle Wolves love to annex other teams," Brixton explained. "If they refuse? They eliminate them. Plus, they're owned by a young master from a noble family who uses them for all sorts of dangerous tasks to fulfill his own ambitions. Joining them isn't glamorous; it's more like stepping into a fire pit where you could lose everything."
Fear flickered in Aegnor's and lian's eyes as they processed this revelation.
"So that's why my big sis has been refusing them all along, she knows exactly what they're capable of," Brixton added thoughtfully.
"And I suspect there's even more beneath the surface," Aegnor chid in.
"Why do you say that?" lian asked curiously.
"Have you noticed how Ventura looks at the Captain? His eyes are filled with greed and lust," Aegnor replied with a knowing smile.
"Huh!" lian paused for a mont before scrutinizing Ventura's expression. "Yeah, you're right! The Captain is beautiful and quite famous in the Adventurer District, many adventurers have crushes on her, but this guy is downright shaless!"
"If big brother were here, that guy would be dead by now," Brixton muttered with a mocking grin aid at Ventura.
"Oh! You have an older brother?" lian asked eagerly.
"Yeah! He's soone I respect deeply; he single-handedly saved us from slavery and has taken care of us ever since. He's made us who we are today." Admiration shone in Brixton's eyes as he spoke of his brother.
"Is he strong? How does he compare to you two. I an you and the Captain included?" lian pressed on excitedly.
Brixton shrugged. "Big brother has never shown his full strength, so I can't say for sure. But he could easily take both of us down without breaking a sweat."
Wow! Your big brother must be incredibly powerful! I wish I could et him!" lian exclaid, her eyes sparkling with excitent.
"Yeah, he's really strong, but trust , you might want to keep your distance," Brixton replied, shooting a wary glance at lian.
"Why do you say that? I didn't even hint that I like him or anything!" lian rolled her eyes in playful annoyance.
"I'm just saying, my big brother is super handso. So if you ever run into him, just... be careful," Brixton chuckled, glancing playfully at Trinity.
lian and Aegnor exchanged puzzled looks before realization hit them like a lightning bolt. Their eyes widened in understanding.
"So you an your big brother and the Captain...?" lian said, surprise etched on her face.
"Exactly! That's why I warned you. If my big brother were here right now, this guy would be toast," Brixton nodded confidently.
---
"Ventura," Trinity said firmly, shaking her head. "I've told you before: I will never join the Battle Wolves."
Ventura's smile vanished instantly; his gaze turned icy with murderous intent.
"Well then, Captain Trinity, it seems I have no choice but to eliminate you and the Morningstar Adventurer Team. It's an order from the higher-ups," he declared as he unsheathed his sword, an oppressive aura radiating from him.
His comrades followed suit, weapons drawn and Mana swirling around them in preparation for battle.
Trinity calmly held up a long golden spear and waved her hand gently.
In an instant, two massive double-handed axes materialized in Brixton's grip as he began to grow taller and more imposing, a small giant with earthen yellow Mana swirling around him.
The air thickened as the gravity around him aeemsto double instantly.
lian readied her long green bow and aid an arrow at Ventura and his n while Aegnor raised his Magic Staff high; a colossal magic circle blood beneath them all, enveloping the Morningstar Adventurer Team in a vibrant green glow that seems to doubled their power.
The tension crackled in the air like static electricity.
"Attack!" both Trinity and Ventura shouted simultaneously.
KABOOOOM
!
Brixton charged forward with an enormous grin plastered across his face, his body adorned with glowing yellow runes.
"Gravity Imprisonnt!
BOOOOOM!
All of Ventura's n were slamd to the ground as cracks spiderwebbed through the earth beneath them; they coughed up blood under the imnse gravitational force that rendered them immobile, not even able to lift a finger!
Only Ventura managed to evade its grasp by vanishing from sight.
