Whoosh…
The large mountain eagle landed steadily on a rock, so distance away from the flowing stream.
With a single leap, Mo Han jumped down to the ground and observed the sect grounds ahead.
"Aren't you coming?" Mo Han asked Fatty, who was still seated firmly atop the mountain eagle.
"No, I feel safer here. Nobody would dare trick while I sit on this eagle," Fatty replied with a confident smile.
"As you wish… but don't forget to feed it," Mo Han warned.
"I only have the dry rations we brought. I don't know if the eagle will eat them," Fatty replied.
Mo Han, while caressing the eagle's head, said, "This fellow eats anything. Don't worry. Just feed him until he's full."
Fatty nodded and began untying the silk cloth that stored the dry bread.
Leaving Fatty to his own devices, Mo Han walked toward the small bridge over the pink stream. He noticed many won roaming outside the flowery gates of the Pink Blossom Tree Sect.
As he moved closer to the wooden bridge, more and more girls began focusing their attention on him.
Soon, groups of girls gathered and stared at Mo Han without blinking.
In the history of the Pink Blossom Tree Sect, no man had ever approached the flower gate alone—especially not soone as handso and composed as Mo Han. For the first ti, the won were genuinely surprised by the sight of a stern, dashing man walking toward them.
Ignoring the staring won, Mo Han continued approaching the gate.
"Wait, co to ! I have everything you need!"
"No… I'll take better care of you. Co to !"
"Little hubby, why don't we go sowhere private?"
One after another, the won began calling out and throwing flirtatious proposals at him.
Mo Han smiled faintly at their words but didn't stop walking.
Just as he reached the gate, two spears crossed before him, blocking his path. They were held by two won who stood guard at the entrance.
"State your business!" the two ladies said in perfect harmony. Although their gazes were filled with desire, their voices remained firm and dutiful.
Without a word, Mo Han took out the jade ring given by Jia Kai and showed it to them.
"Tell us the na of the girl you want. We don't accept gifts," one of the guards said seriously.
"It's not a gift… Look closely," Mo Han replied confidently, maintaining eye contact.
At first, the guard didn't think much of it. But after a closer look inside the jade ring, she noticed the na Kai.
"So… you're here for the virgin lady. It seems her waiting has finally borne fruit. Wait here. I'll inform her of your arrival."
Mo Han stood calmly as one of the guards walked inside.
anwhile, the won around him kept trying to grab his attention. So even cast subtle seduction spells. But to their disappointnt, Mo Han remained casual and unaffected.
For a brief mont, Mo Han was reminded of his past—his first ti stepping into a brothel as a manager. He had walked into a room filled with hundreds of naked won, all staring at him with judgntal eyes.
"The world may change… but people remain the sa," Mo Han muttered as he waited.
"Wait… the guard said I ca for a virgin lady. Did Jia Kai trick ?" Mo Han began recalling what the guard had said, his thoughts turning suspicious.
On the other hand, the guard who went to call Jia Kai's sister was already spreading the news like wildfire.
"A super handso guy ca for the virgin Chi Kai. Looks like she finally bagged herself a horny toy to mock us all," the guard said to a short girl nad Sony before walking off without waiting for a reply.
"Wait… are you talking about Chi Kai?" Sony shouted behind her, but the guard didn't respond.
Feeling uneasy, Sony ran straight to find Lily—the tall woman who led their gang. All this ti, they had mocked Chi Kai as a 'virgin loser' who couldn't attract a single man. But if she had suddenly managed to get a handso man, they would be the ones mocked instead.
Elsewhere, near the Death Stone, Chi Kai was practicing her classical sword techniques, trying to impress her mother. She had wasted an entire week gossiping, and if she didn't show any progress in swordsmanship, her mother might place her under house arrest for an entire month.
That's why, despite hating the practice, she was forcing herself to train alone.
"Ahh! Why am I practicing this boring sword art when I could beco a powerful warrior through dual cultivation?" Chi Kai scread, slashing at the Death Stone in frustration.
"Chi Kai!" a loud cry suddenly rang from the distance.
But she ignored the voice and continued swinging her sword with focus.
"Chi Kai!" the guard cried again, now closer.
"A handso…" The guard panted heavily from all the running, unable to complete the sentence in one breath.
Chi Kai continued training with a serious face.
"A handso guy ca for you…" the guard finally managed to say between gasps.
"You ca to mock too?" Chi Kai slamd her sword against the Death Stone with anger. "Where's Lily? Is she sending people now to make fun of ? Leave before I point this sword at you!"
"You're misunderstanding! I'm telling the truth. A handso man ca to the flower gate and gave this ring—it has your family na engraved on it. Look for yourself," the guard said, holding out the jade ring that Mo Han had given her.
With one quick glance, Chi Kai recognized it. It belonged to her elder sister, Jia Kai.
She froze.
Her thoughts began to race. Who could've co with her sister's ring?
For a mont, she felt a flicker of fear—what if her sister's identity had been exposed at Burning Sun Peak?
Without another second's hesitation, she bolted toward the entrance of the Pink Blossom Tree Sect.
