[Partial transformation beginning....]

Acheron’s eyes turned golden at the sight of the baby she held in her arms. Linnet turned a bit, then slowly... her tiny eyelids fluttered open for the first ti.

Her eyes were golden, purer than anything Acheron had ever seen. They locked into a gaze with her, responding to a familiar kin.

The glowing eyes intensified for a brief mont then faded slowly... Linnet’s eyes returned to normal, showing its original color: red. Just like her parents.

Duchess Lancelot noticed their chain reaction to each other. She knew Acheron also was half-human, half-elf.

"It seems my baby isn’t the first of her kind." She whispered into Acheron’s ears as she collected back her child.

Acheron did not say anything but responded with a smile. It was their little secret.

The nobles behind her didn’t notice any change nor did the people ahead of her in the line.

「 That was far too close... 」Stellar popped up in her thoughts.

『 True... Please tread carefully next ti... My magic could hardly contain the makeup 』Another voice ca up with a much softer tone.

’Ophelia? You can talk in my head too?!’

『 Yes! Stellar projected the both of us into your mind... and poof, here I am... 』

’What about Shinra?’

「 He was taking a nap when we decided to interfere... 」Stellar nodded. 「 You are ignoring our warnings! 」

’Ok ok... I’ll be careful next ti, although I did not know my elf side would react to hers.’ Acheron let out a smile as she sighed and went back to her seat.

『 Hehehe... 』

More and more people ca to see the baby, after that ca different types of food prepared by one of the Kingdom’s finest chefs.

It was events after events until evening grew darker. Most families had begun to say their goodbyes and left in their respective carriages.

Acheron glanced around the hall, looking for soone who matched a specific description. Her eyes landed on a fat man at the far end talking to one of the maids. He was forcing her into going to the n’s room alone, against her will.

"Yep, that’s him." She spotted Baron Shen.

『 He behaves like a creep... 』

「 He is more than a creep, a perverted bastard is what I’d call him 」

Stellar and Ophelia expressed angry pouty faces.

Acheron rose from her seat and walked after them. The Baron had already forced the maid into the n’s room, and Acheron followed close behind.

"Ah... Baron, you’re hurting ... but it feels good!" The maid cried out loudly enough to be heard by anyone who was just passing by.

"Robababa! Do you want to stop?" He said, continuing his advances.

Knock! Knock!

"Baron Shen..." Acheron called from outside.

Stunned, the Baron quickly pulled up his trousers, leaving the poor maid as she was. Slowly, he stepped out, closing the door behind him and resting on it.

"Oh, it’s the beautiful Lady Acheron... What an honor!" He said in an embarrassed tone.

Acheron leaned in slightly, wearing a playful smile. "You seem to be enjoying yourself."

"Y-Yes, you could say that." He laughed nervously.

Then without warning, Acheron leaned down towards his ear and whispered. "Follow , handso... Let’s have so quiet ti."

Baron Shen’s face turned red as the words played like syllables in a song. ’She... she wants ? Robababa!’ He could barely contain his excitent.

Acheron straightened herself and walked toward the backdoor. She glanced back once, giving him a sly smile to draw him in even more.

Baron Shen waited a few seconds to maintain his composure and charged right after her like a bulldog.

...

At the sa ti, Nieves and Vincent had spent all day waiting for Baron Shen’s na to be ntioned anywhere at all. Sadly, it wasn’t.

"Tsk, we have been here for hours... I thought your broker said he was going to be here?" Nieves groaned as she took off her gloves.

"I thought the sa thing too, bastard pulled one over ." Vincent sighed.

Then one of the butlers stepped up to them. They were frightened as they thought their cover was blown.

"Excuse , my lord, a purple-haired girl told to deliver this to your hands." The butler said calmly, handing over a piece of paper.

Vincent took it right away and unfolded it. His eyes scanned the written words in elegant but playful handwriting.

--Baron Shen whom you seek, will be back in the courtyard in a few seconds... hurry up. You won’t get this chance again >.< hehe--

Vincent’s hand shook as he squeezed the note in his hands. Different questions began to pass through his mind.

What kind of joke was this? How did anyone know they were looking for the Baron? They never ntioned it to anyone... but more importantly, how did they see through the disguise?

Why were they even helping?

Before Vincent could gather his thoughts, Nieves had already stomped off towards the backdoor leading to the courtyard. A cold sensation rushed through her, dominating every bit of warmth she felt.

Within seconds, she was out in the courtyard. Lanterns hung from all sides, casting long shadows across the stone pathways.

Baron Shen stood near a fountain, adjusting his robes. "Lady Acheron! I am here!" He called out.

After receiving no answer, he turned to check the other side, maybe she got the areas mixed up, when his eyes landed on an old woman.

"Tsk, I was scared for a minute... What are you doing out here, old hag! Robababa!"

Nieves did not say a word. She just stood there looking at him with absolute disgust. Then she slowly removed the mask of the Ten Faces, peeling it off her skin.

Her white hair dropped to her side, glowing under the moonlight. She took off the dress, leaving only her casual clothes which she wore underneath.

"You don’t rember ...?" She said in a slow agonizing tone.

Shocked by this transformation, Baron Shen did not waver as he thought it was part of Acheron’s show to impress him.

"Of course I do... you didn’t have to go through all this, Lady Acheron..." He began to remove his shirt and walked up to her.

"Let feel you..."

Slice!

The mont Baron Shen stepped into Nieves’ range, she cut the hand he outstretched to her into two.
