Chapter 89: Don’t go anywhere without

It was almost dawn when Knox finally lost consciousness from weary.

Looking down at his still erect manhood, Azrael sighed in dismay. He was too excited that doing it once or twice wasn’t nearly enough. If Knox hadn’t fallen asleep, he could still be hovering above him, while thrusting nonstop inside him. Staring at Knox’s naked body sprawled in his bed, his shaft only throbbed harder.

"F*ck," Azrael groaned, disappointed in himself. He quickly stood from the bed, fearing that he might do sothing regretful again. He went to the bathroom and finished. After that, he took a towel and basin of water, returned to his bed, and started wiping Knox’s body.

He also cleaned the room, picked up all the used tissues and rubbers, folded their clothes and put them over the table, took his most comfortable shirt, and put it on Knox. Afterward, when everything that he was certain Knox would take care of once he woke up was taken care of, he lay beside him with a light and joyful heart.

He gathered Knox to his arms, combed his hair, and whispered sweet nothings that the oga wouldn’t even hear. Pausing in the middle, a smile tugged on his lips, mumbling to himself, "If I can see myself in the mirror, I might have difficulty recognizing myself, since I’m sure I looked like a loving and gentle bastard smiling foolishly right now. God, Knox...you see what you did?"

He lifted Knox’s sleeping face and softly planted a kiss on his slightly opened lips. Brushing Knox’s hair away and tucking it behind his ears, Azrael realized he couldn’t keep his hands to himself.

He chuckled, admitting how lovestruck and obsessed he was with Knox. To the point of not wanting to sleep and just watch Knox until he wakes up, in fear that he’d disappear again.

Azrael intended to do so, however, as Knox snuggled closer and wrapped his hand around him while mumbling his na, Azrael felt like he was lulled, enchanted, and hypnotized to fall asleep.

He yawned and heard Knox again.

"Az...rael...stop...tired...hmm..."

Azrael giggled. "I’m sorry, baby. It seems even in your dreams, I’m pestering you. Haha, I’m a bit envious."

He kissed Knox’s forehead once more, before finally drifting to sleep.

A few hours later, he felt the warmth beside him was gone. He jolted awake. His eyes widened at the empty spot next to him. Anxiety washed over him as he quickly jumped from the bed, and walked out the door in his pants. His chest tightened and started pounding erratically.

’Dammit, Knox. You can’t do this to !’ He yelled inwardly, his head swirling with negativity.

He opened Knox’s bedroom but failed to spot him inside. He cursed under his breath, "I should have tied you up..."

The anxiety was replaced with fear and madness. He dashed back to his room, grabbed his phone, and dialed Roy’s number. "Find where Knox is and bring him to

imdiately!"

On the other side, Roy hastily stood and answered, "Yes, sir!" he quickly grabbed his key, but then stopped upon the realization that he was actually watching the gates through the monitor all night, in hopes of finding whoever was stalking his boss. He learned two different cars were tailing them; however, he only caught the first’s plate number.

Roy spoke again, "Sir...I didn’t see any car leave the gates though. I’ve been watching since last night; I can assure you—oh, he hung up..."

Without wasting another second, Azrael bolted down the stairs. He stopped at the foot of the stairs upon seeing Knox flipping a pancake in the kitchen. Extre relief bombarded him.

Slowly, Azrael made his way to the kitchen. His pheromones went haywire as soon as he woke up and didn’t find Knox beside him, so Knox imdiately knew Azrael was behind him.

Knox put down the pan and lowered the heat, then he turned around with a smiling yet bashful face. "You slept well, it’s already ten—heck!"

Azrael slamd his body to Knox, locking the oga in his arms possessively. Knox’s words were cut off, and he was taken aback, but when he felt the ever so little tremors in Azrael’s broad shoulders, he quickly expressed his worry and asked, "What’s wrong? Had a bad dream?"

He rubbed his back tenderly like he always did whenever Knoa suddenly woke up from a bad dream. From Azrael’s tense pheromones, Knox could tell sothing happened. He waited until Azrael cald down, even when he could sll the pancake getting burnt, he remained in his arms.

Not long after, Azrael’s hug loosened. He straightened his back and cupped Knox’s face, "When did you wake up? You should have woken

up too. Don’t just suddenly leave the bed while I’m sleeping, and if you must really go, then shake

up or—

"Are you having a separation anxiety?" Knox muttered incredulously.

Azrael stopped blabbering. He stared back at Knox with wonder, then he cocked his head as though he gave up thinking, "Is that what you called it, then maybe, yes."

Knox broke into laughter. He patted Azrael’s cheeks and fondly gazed at him, "What are you, a child? Seriously. Haven’t I reassured you enough? I won’t go anywhere...well, actually I might go sowhere later," Azrael’s face hardened after Knox said that. He giggled and pinched the alpha’s cheeks more, "What are you frowning at? Are you going to lock

up here for the rest of my life? You won’t ever let

step foot outside, or do you plan to stick to

wherever I go?"

Azrael politely answered, "Yes."

His face was devoid of sha and hesitation at all, which only made Knox laugh louder.

"That’s silly! Anyway, I’m right here. Look," Knox took Azrael’s hand and put it on his own cheek. "I won’t hide again, nor run away. I’m...not the cowardly Knox before, and...we’re not the sa anymore, aren’t we?"

"Mm. You’re right," Azrael responded, caressing Knox’s cheek. "But still, don’t go anywhere without telling . If you’re going sowhere, always ask

to go with you. If I can, I’ll go, of course, but if I can’t then, I’ll just send soone to drive you."

Azrael said that, but in his head, he wasn’t thinking of sending anyone at all besides himself.

Knox frowned. He hardened his face and firmly replied, "No. That’s suffocating. I an, Athan already put soone to watch over , and you’re also sending soone? One is enough, you don’t have to do that."

Azrael, "Then, why don’t we put the two into a fight? Whoever wins will be your guard."

"That’s not funny," Knox snarled at him.

Azrael pouted, "I’m not comfortable sending you alone with soone I don’t know."

"Then, I’ll introduce him to you....my bodyguard, I an. Anyway, stop pouting and move already. The pancake’s burnt! You’re going to eat it if you don’t let go," Knox pushed Azrael away.

Azrael let himself be pushed, but his hands remained on Knox’s shoulders. The latter glared at him, and Azrael just looked away.
