Chapter 216: Chapter 2: Scentless oga

The man towering over Killian had a sharp, intimidating presence. His broad shoulders filled the elevator entrance as he looked down at Killian with mixed emotions in his gaze—anger, confusion, and... sothing unreadable.

His green eyes seed to pierce right through Killian, sending a shiver down his spine despite the heat overtaking his body.

Killian’s breaths ca in short, uneven gasps as the stranger lood closer.

"What... what’s happening to ?" Killian muttered under his breath, confused. His knees buckled, and he gripped the side of the elevator wall to steady himself. His body was burning up, his heart pounding in his chest.

The man didn’t answer imdiately, his jaw tightening as his gaze flickered over Killian. Finally, he spoke, his voice low and gruff. "You’re an oga..."

Killian’s eyes widened, heart skipping a beat at the question. His gender wasn’t a secret, but because he was recessive, even more recessive than a recessive oga, everyone believed he was a beta and even doubted the results of his sub-gender evaluation.

No one ca up to him and blatantly said, without hesitation, ’You’re an oga!’, so, Killian was utterly baffled. "W-what? No, I’m... I’m not affected by... by this..."

What was he saying? He never denied his gender to anyone! So, why...with this man...he felt scared all of a sudden?

The man gave him a hard look, his eyes were bloodshot as if he was suppressing sothing inside him. He bit his lower lip and pulled Killian by the collar, dragging him to the ergency exit stairs.

The space made the tension between them almost unbearable. The man leaned in closer, his scent overwhelming the enclosed area. There was no mistaking it now—this man was an alpha, and a powerful one at that.

Killian shuddered. He knew he was scentless...almost, but despite that reassurance...why was the man looking at him like he was...driving him crazy?

"Then why are you reacting like this?" he asked, his voice quiet but commanding. "You’re in heat. Don’t co out of this door and...haa...wait for the ambulance to take you."

The stranger walked away after dropping Killian on the first steps of the stairs to sit. He quickly rushed to the door, ignoring the growing hardness between his thighs.

He was baffled. He was always composed and would not easily be affected by an oga, yet, despite not slling the oga’s pheromones, he was reacting more to him than to a dominant one.

What was happening? The man wondered and sighed. He shouldn’t be feeling like this. He’s a married man already.

On the other hand, Killian’s mind raced, unable to process what was happening.

He wasn’t supposed to go into heat like this, especially not after taking the suppressant herbs. It didn’t make sense. His body had never responded to alphas before, yet here he was, trembling in the presence of this man.

"I don’t... I don’t understand..." Killian whispered, his hand clutching at his chest as if he could physically stop the overwhelming sensations coursing through him, while the other was grasping his thighs together to hide his shaful erection. "This isn’t supposed to happen..."

The alpha’s eyes softened for a brief mont, but the anger in them didn’t fully fade.

He stood by the door, contemplating whether to leave the vulnerable oga or not. He was still in his right mind, but he had no idea how long it would last.

He decided it was better to leave and just stood outside the door. Before he stepped outside, the alpha stranger heard the oga spoke.

"Who are you?" Killian managed to choke out, his voice shaky. He needed to know the identity of this man who seed to have such a profound effect on him.

But the man did not answer. He simply closed the door on him. Killian heard soone’s voice outside before the door completely shut.

"Sir! I’ve been looking for you!"

The alpha, Nathaniel Horace, Chairman of the Horizon Corporation, stood before the closed door as if he were guarding it like a loyal knight. He let out a few deep breaths to calm his raging hormones and lustful instincts, before facing his secretary who called out to him.

"Steve..." Nathaniel spoke, glancing over his shoulders.

He wanted to ask the secretary to check the poor oga, but realized he was an alpha too, so he just said, "...call an ambulance. Soone behind this door is experiencing a...pheromone shock."

Steve’s eyes widened. He quickly took his phone out and dialed the ergency hotline.

Not long after, paradics entered and Steve pointed at the ergency exit door. They quickly rushed inside, and saw Killian fainted already.

One of the rescuers exclaid, "Oh! It’s the guy who carried the female oga in heat earlier! It seems he got affected by her pheromones too. Is he an alpha in a rut?"

Nathaniel furrowed his brows. "He’s an oga in heat. It seems that he took suppressant herbs already, but looks like it didn’t work. Please, have him check imdiately."

"Yes, sir!"

The rescuers left after that.

Nathaniel and Steve followed the stretcher going away with their gazes. Nathaniel was lost in thought, but he swept those away at the back of his mind. He whirled around and walked out of the lobby to the parking space next to the company building.

Steve followed him silently. After they were inside, he finally answered, "Sir, are you alright? You don’t look good and you’re...sweating buckets. Should we drop by the hospital?"

At the ntion of ’hospital’, unconsciously, Nathaniel’s mind wandered to the male oga again.

He realized what he was doing, and sighed frustratedly. Looking out the window as the car rolled along the highway, he answered the secretary, "Let’s just go ho."

Steve obliged.

Chairman Nathaniel Horace was living alone in his mansion in the anti. It was because the construction of their company branches had begun. He flew from England to watch over them; while also overseeing the subsidiaries they built in this country, leaving his family.

A wife and four children.

Nathaniel Horace was only thirty-nine years old, but he already had four—the oldest at eleven and the youngest at three years old. Three boys and one girl. After securing their bloodline—healthy and dominant—his wife, who was just the sa age as him, decided to get a tubal ligation.

After that, they both beca busy with each other’s jobs. Is it because it’s been a while since he last got laid, that’s why he acted strongly toward a scentless oga like that?

"Sir, we’ve arrived."

Steve’s voice brought back Nathaniel into the present. He opened the door and stepped out, erasing the mory of the male oga in his mind.
