Chapter 14: Hands Off Her

His unique unfathomable red eyes that looked darker than the color of a deep red blood, stared at her with not a tiny trace of pity before shifting to the man his able bodied n had killed.

"My Lord, we’ve got him." One of the bodyguards inford his Highness as he retreated back, but the man clad in Royal white had his gaze pinned to Samantha who couldn’t decipher if his presence here was another threat, but for safety precautions, Samantha cautiously moved back, keeping her distance.

As he stood at the entrance, clad in soft white clothing that seed to emit a faint glow in the hallway, Samantha could barely look away. His sharp cheekbones and angular features gave him an otherworldly beauty that was impossible to ignore, and his piercing eyes seed to see through her very soul.

There was an ominous air that strangely surrounded him like a shield, it felt intimidating, bloodcurdling, and those eyes that made her soul shudder.... He had to be a vampire to possess such raw energy!

Who is this man? And why did he look familiar to her? Was he going to kill her too? But why did he kill the other man??

"Aren’t you going to take your leave? Or do you entertain this type of sight?" The man’s voice was strikingly deep, yet domineering in every way. It dripped with danger and power, a sense of regal confidence that made it clear that he was the one in control of this situation, leaving no room for argunts or questions, and all Samantha could do was blink like a foolish being.

As she hesitated to answer his question, the young man cocked his head to the side, a lock of his Midnight-black hair falling over his forehead in a way that only added to his allure. He seed almost ethereal, his imposing form blending in seamlessly with the shadows around him.

"W.. what?" She dared to ask, and his stiff lips suddenly pulled to the side, forming a dreadful sneer.

Samantha couldn’t help but feel a mixture of fear and fascination as she looked at him, unsure whether to run or just stay put.

In that mont, Samantha shivered at the thought that his intention towards her may not be entirely benevolent. The way he kept staring at her, she could swear she’s seen a familiar face like this before, but.... But where??

The mysterious young man who watched her expression change intuitively, narrowed his eyes for a brief mont, then he averted his gaze from her and suddenly snapped his finger.

"Dismber the body, I’ll need the head for Uncle’s new trophy." The iciness laced in his tone... Samantha could feel her heart race, but not in a good way.

He casually turned and left the room. Hearing this, Samantha’s face imdiately turned aghast when the word ’dismber the body’ continuously played in her head, and she understood at the nick of ti why he requested for her to leave.

Oh God!

With a speed she never knew she could muster within her, Samantha got to her feet and raced out of the room, not willing to let her eyes see what would never be unseen.

Running through the endless corridor, unable to scream out for help, she stumbled on her feet countless tis but never stopped running, trying her best to get away from that room where the abomination happened.

Yes she had asked for an angel of death, but who in the Lord’s na is that man?? The more she thought about it, the more dreadful she felt.

She had to get away from him.

"Ahhh!!..ugh!!"

Falling to the ground when her body could no longer summon enough strength to run, Samantha remained there, looking weak and helpless, her breathing ragged, but her system imdiately tensed when a shadow lood over her.

Raising her head slowly to look at her Mada who stood in front of her, there was not a hint of smile on her face. Imdiately, Samantha wanted to reveal what she had seen in the room, but Mada Cerise didn’t give her the chance as her eyes snapped with pure aggression.

"Why aren’t you in your quarters attending to your client?! You vile little thing! You’re trying to escape again!" Her Mada didn’t give her the slightest chance to explain her situation as Samantha was harshly grabbed by her hair, forcing her to her feet.

A peppering pain shocked her from the root of her hair to her scalp, down to her throat, and she could barely breathe.

"I didn’t do anything! Let go of !!" Samantha cried out in pain, grabbing onto the arm that pulled at her hair to ease the pain that would definitely bring her headache in the future.

"Then why aren’t you in there doing your duty? You sneaky little brat! Soone worthy like Mr Harvory gave away a hundred thousand gold coins to have you, and you’re running around the corridor like a rat. Co with , you’re going back to your room to finish what you started."

"No! Mr Harvory’s dead, there are strange people in there, soone killed him. I’m not going with you! Release !!"

Aggrieved, Samantha forced her hair free from Mada Cerise’s hold, and at the ntion of death, her Mada suddenly froze in her steps, as though her system just got electrified by the news.

With her face drained of colors, she turned to look at Samantha who was a teary ss. The girl could barely stand on her two feet as she sank to the ground once again, and only after proper inspection did Mada Cerise take notice of the bloodstain on Samantha’s clothing, and then her face as well.

"Is that... blood on you??" Her Mada gasped in disbelief and took a step back. "You girl, I’ve always known you had it in you, but killing your client to escape?? I didn’t expect you to be this deceitful."

"K..k..killed who?" Samantha’s voice sounded croaked, and her Mada believed she was putting on an act to hide her malicious nature. At this ti, the doors on each side of the corridor opened after hearing the commotion going on, and Samantha looked at the faces of the girls who peeped from the door, a look of pity washing over their expression like they knew she was done for.

"You dare to kill in my brothel?? You Murderer!!"

"I didn’t.. I didn’t kill anyone, there are strange people in there." Samantha pointed in the direction of her room. "Believe , soone’s in there, I..."

"Shut your mouth!" Mada Cerise’s snarl demanded silence, her face turning red with rage. "It’s been five years and you still refuse to behave? Very well." Her tone suddenly cald as she straightened up. "Lucas! Raph! Take her to the solitary room! You know the punishnt, make sure she receives the stick down her throat till she can no longer breathe and leave her there, Take this cunt away from my sight!"

Soft shocking gasps filled the walls of the corridor, and Samantha shook her head when two of Mada Cerise’s n showed up to pull her to her feet.

"You can’t do this to , I didn’t do anything, I swear I.... I didn’t kill anyone, I didn’t.."

"Seems to

you enjoy having that thick stick going down your lovely throat." One of Mada Cerise’s n nad Lucas said with an impish sneer. "Tonight, we’ll make you enjoy it till you no longer feel it."

"No! I didn’t do anything, please!" Samantha cried out as she was being dragged away by her Mada’s n. Mada Cerise turned deaf ears to her pleas, looking away from them while letting her n drag the crying Samantha away.

"If she can’t be useful, might as well get rid of her." Muttered Mada Cerise, and all the girls who were peeping from the door imdiately went back in before they beca the next target to Mada Cerise’s rage.

On the way, Samantha struggled with her every being to free herself, but these n were too tough for her. With her zero strength, it was impossible for her to do anything. It didn’t take too long before she stopped struggling, she was close to the point of passing out already when the two n who dragged her limp body away suddenly stopped walking.

A formidable chilling aura mysteriously encompassed the narrowed hallway, and Samantha could hear a calm, but spine-chilling voice giving out an order.

"Hands. Off. Her."
