... recover the mories?
Aiden wanted to ask her, but he couldn’t, knowing how impossible it was for her to recover those mories.
"What?" Arwen probed when he paused in the middle of his words. Her eyes searched his. "If you don’t finish the question, how would I know what I have to answer?"
Aiden stared at her for a mont before he shook his head. "It’s nothing," he said as his gaze flicked to the clock deliberately. "It’s getting late. I should go and freshen up since you are done."
And with that, he took a step past her. However, just when he would have walked away, she held his arm, stopping him. She didn’t pull him back to face her, nor did she turn to look at him. With her back still towards him, she simply gave him the answer to his unfinished question.
"I ca up with this na way back when we knew each other. Why are you asking about it now? Did you not rember how I ca up with this na?"
Aiden’s head snapped towards her, his brows furrowing. She turned to look at him and smiled, "Did it feel new to you?"
"You ... you rembered?"
"Do you want to rember?" she asked, turning to face him better. "If you do, then why aren’t you letting ?"
His hand sought out to grab her by her shoulders. "Because it’s dangerous, Moon. It’s dangerous for you to think about the past you have forgotten. It can make lose you ... forever."
Arwen felt the sheer panic in his voice. Her expression shifted to that of concern before she reached out to cup his cheek to reassure him. "Calm down, Ide. I didn’t do anything dangerous." She shook her head and continued, "I didn’t try to rember anything. I am still here, all fine —and you aren’t losing . So, calm down. Breathe."
Aiden stared at her. His breathing is a little ragged. After he cald a little, he asked, "Then how did you rember this na?"
She looked at him, her gaze growing tender at him. "I heard it in my dream. Not once, but several tis."
"In your dream?" Aiden asked, his eyes narrowing.
And she nodded, replying, "I am getting snippets of our mories together for a long ti now. Every ti a new one. So, even without recovering the mories, I know a lot that I have forgotten."
"..." Aiden didn’t know what he should say to this. She was getting the dreams. Since when?
"At first, I was confused, not understanding who I was seeing. Your image was initially vague, but it started to clear up slowly. And then I realized it was always you."
She told him, and he watched her, his thoughts spiralling sowhere else.
"What are you thinking now?" she asked when she felt that he wasn’t there with her.
Aiden looked at her, his brows still furrowed. "We need to talk to Jason regarding this. Let’s go." And he grabbed her hand, ready to take her then itself.
But Arwen held him back. "Wait," she made him stop. "What do we need to talk about? It was just in the dreams. And —"
"No, we can’t take a risk on it. We need to be sure if this poses any threat to you," he said, and Arwen pursed her lips.
She reached and covered the back of his hand with hers and said, "That’s not needed. I am telling you."
"Having a conversation with Jason will not harm, Moon."
"It won’t," Arwen agreed, but then she gestured to him to look towards the clock, "But it’s already late now. Disturbing him at this ti won’t be good."
"It won’t matter," Aiden said firmly.
And she pressed her lips in a thin line, sighing internally. She knew that when it ca to her, he got stubborn. But she never realized it was to this extent.
Taking a deep breath in, she said, "Look, husband, it’s already late tonight." Her voice was firm and deliberately decisive. "We are not going to him today. If you want to take to Dr. Clark, we will go tomorrow."
"Moon, we —"
"Ide, it’s late. You need to freshen up fast so that we can cuddle. I am already tired and need sleep." She turned up and slowly pushed him towards the bathroom. "I have prepared the water for you. Go fast and get freshened up."
Aiden stopped and turned to look at her, and she blinked her eyes. "We will go tomorrow. It’s just a matter of a night, please."
"We are not delaying it to another day," Aiden said, and Arwen nodded.
"We are not. Now ..." she jutted her chin toward the bathroom. "... go and take the shower."
Aiden nodded and then, relenting to her, he went to take the shower.
Once he was gone, Arwen turned around. Her eyes t her own in the mirror. Her expression changed as she looked at her reflection.
Although she has said to Aiden that she won’t do anything that would put her life at risk, those mories aren’t sothing she is willing to let go of
How could she when she could see how much it mattered to him?
But before those mories, she had sothing else to find out. And that’s sothing only her Granna could help her with.
"Granna, you need to tell . I am not letting it go." She muttered to herself, staring at the mirror.

anwhile, at East Serenity Residence —
Things weren’t looking good. Both Margaret and Xander stood outside Brenda’s room, their faces drawn with worry.
"Seeing her suffer like this, I feel like it would be better if she finally leaves for divine abode," Xander said, his voice low, laced with pain he could no longer hide.
Margaret’s brows furrowed. She wanted to protest and disagree —but after all these nights of watching the old lady fight for every breath, her own heart wavered.
Brenda didn’t deserve this tornt.
"Don’t —" Before she could say more, the door of the room was pulled open, making her pause in her words. She turned to the doctor imdiately and asked, "How is she now?"
