Although Arwen didn't an to hide Aiden and their relationship, she hasn't gotten ti or opportunity to introduce him to her circle of people. So, when Carl ntioned 'brother-in-law', she was confused.

Her brows furrowed as she repeated to confirm if she hadn't misheard him. "Brother-in-law?"

The young man giggled on the other end of the call as if he had found sothing interesting, worth teasing. "Senior sister, did I catch your secret?" he chuckled lightly, not even interested in knowing if he was right —sohow it seed he was already sure of the truth. "Fine, fine, don't panic yet. Your secret is safe with . You can give us the surprise later and I won't tell Alia and Eira that I have co to know about it before them."

Arwen was still not able to understand what he was talking about. So, keeping her patience, she asked again, her voice calm and composed, "Carl, can you explain to properly what he was talking about?"

"Of course, I am talking about Mr. Foster, Senior Sister," Carl said, his tone all confident of his information.

But the ntion of Ryan only made Arwen frown. "Ryan?" she asked and heard Carl hum.

"Mhm-hm. Yesterday when Mr. Foster visited the academy, looking for you, that's when I got to know."

Arwen's frown deepened. Ryan visited Giselle. He never did in the past, so why did he not suddenly appear there looking for her?

"Senior Sister, I am happy for you. Mr. Foster is really handso. I didn't know until I saw him with my own eyes," Carl said, his voice dripping with pure admiration.

Arwen wasn't surprised. Ryan had that charm. His presence and success in the business often motivated the youngsters and that was one of the reasons, he was so popular among them. But what surprised her was the misunderstanding that he created.

"Congratulations on getting married."

As Carl wished her, a small silence took over the call. A while later, Arwen's lips curled up, curving her lips in a beautiful smile. "Thank you," she said, finally responding to him. "But Carl," she began, her words coming calculated as if she was thinking sothing deeper. "I want you to keep this a secret. Don't mind, but I want to reveal this news to you all on my own. And if you spread this out now, it will only ruin my plans. So, can you?"

"It; 's not hard to keep a secret for you, Senior Sister. I am already happy that I got to know this before Alia and Eira." Carl didn't mind much. He was too young to think any deeper about it. So, when Arwen asked, he didn't question much and agreed with her.

Arwen smiled deepened and she said, "Thank you, Carl. Don't worry, you don't have to hide it for long. Tomorrow, after the performance, I will take you guys out for dinner and then announce my marriage there. I will even bring your Brother-in-law along and introduce you all to him there."

"Whoa!" Carl cheered. "A formal introduction —wouldn't that be an honour for us?" He then paused for a second and Arwen heard him pat his chest with a promise. "Don't worry, Senior. I won't let it out —not even if I was put on a gun-point."

"Fine, fine, I believe you," Arwen said with a small laugh. "Now, go back and work. I will call you once I read the report."

After sharing a few pleasantries, she disconnected the call. Right then, a hand wrapped around her waist.

When Arwen turned, Aiden's handso face ca close to hers. "When did you co?" she asked.

"Just when you ended the call," he replied before eyeing towards her phone. "Is everything fine?"

Her gaze darted towards her phone for a mont as humd. "Yes, everything is taken care of. By the way, I have sothing to ask you." Taking Aiden's silence as a cue to continue, she asked, "Are you free tomorrow? Like really free? You don't have to cancel your schedule or anything for it."

"I can —"

"No, you don't have to do that every ti, Aiden," Arwen interrupted him, not ready to let him make compromises in his plans. She then turned straight to his face and said, "Work can be important, I know that. You don't have to always cancel your important events for . Sotis, just give opportunities to be an understanding wife to you."

Arwen might not have poked her nose in Aiden's business but knowing the scenarios of the business industries well, she doesn't have to ask anyone to know that Aiden must have having busy schedule every day, given that he was making a big geographical change in their operation of business. She doesn't want him to hinder his important things just to cater to her wishes.

Aiden would have refused her but he couldn't. Hence nodding, he said, "I have plans until evening, a few etings to attend. After that, I will return ho."

"Great," Arwen clapped. "You don't have to cancel any eting at all. Once you complete you can join us for the dinner."

Aiden saw her eyes sparkle and his brows raised with interest as he stared at her for a mont. "Dinner?" he repeated.

Arwen nodded with a hum. "Yes, my treat," she said. "I would love it if you could co along with us."

He had nothing to refuse, but he knew there was sothing more to it and he was just a little curious to know. He nodded, but then asked, "Anything special?"

Arwen smiled before shaking her head. "Nothing important. It's just that I want to treat my people outside while taking the chance to introduce to you them. They are soone important in my life and I want them to know you so that tomorrow no one can simply visit and manipulate them into believing sothing that isn't true."

Aiden gave a thought to it before nodding to her. Moving his hand to tug away her hair behind her ears, he said, "Fine, send the address and I will arrive there on ti."
