Chapter 89 Confession in the hospital
Because of the stomachache, Manla grimaced in pain and didn’t care about her image. She was quite accommodating and straightforward.
Mo Yichen stood in front of Manla and listened quietly to her complaints.
“I have no idea if it was a good thing for Gu Yan to et you. I guess you know that Chen Qian has always harassing Gu Yan. For the sake of your son, I hope you can make Gu Yan’s life better. That is to say, do not let those people disturb her life.”
Manla was kind of requiring him.
However, Mo Yichen’s expression did not change at all, which made Manla feel a little uneasy.
Manla thought, “Maybe this man is bad-tempered. Did I offend him by saying so?”
On second thought, Manla was prepared to face his anger.
“Thank you for saying this to .” Mo Yichen said to Manla.
“What?”
Manla thought that Mo Yichen would be mad at her, but it was totally different from what she thought.
“Thanks to you, I finally know the truth. Gu Yan would never tell about that, so, thank you for telling what she had been through and what I should do to win her love.”
Mo Yichen’s voice was pleasant, and his words eased Manla’s anger slowly.
“Don’t you have an engagent with Chen Qian?”
“There is no engagent between us. The elders of our families have known each other for many years. And I grew up with Chen Qian since childhood. It looks like we are engaged to each other, but there’s nothing between us. I just see her as a younger sister all the ti.”
“You an, Chen Qian always gets Gu Yan in trouble only because she loves you?”
“Yeah.”

“And most importantly, what Mo Yichen can do for Gu Yan is only happened in the TV series.”
Manla paused, took a deep breath and finally asked a question that had puzzled her for a long ti.
“So, you like Gu Yan, right?”
At this ti, Gu Yan ca back from the outside and was about to enter the ward. However, she saw another person inside the room.
The man sat with his back to Gu Yan, seeming like he was talking with Manla.
Gu Yan knew that figure all too well. It was Mo Yichen. Gu Yan thought, “I never thought that Mo Yichen would co to the ward so quickly. He could rush here in a few minutes as I bought the food.”
“You like Gu Yan, right?”
Gu Yan heard Manla’s voice, and her hands on the doorknob suddenly paused. Because of this question, her heart thumped.
Gu Yan thought, “God, how could Manla ask him such a question?”
Gu Yan wanted to cover Manla’s mouth, but actually, she looked forward to Mo Yichen’s reply.
They kept silent for a long ti. As Gu Yan thought Mo Yichen would change the subject or deny it, Mo Yichen suddenly answered.
“Yes.”
Like an electric current passing through Gu Yan’s body, she widened her eyes in surprise.
“He just...He said he likes ?”
Holding the insulated barrel, Gu Yan’s hands were a little trembling. With excitent and happiness filled in her mind, Gu Yan found it hard to believe.

Holding the insulated barrel, Gu Yan made up her mind, and then she opened the door.
Mo Yichen turned around and found the one he missed recently.
Seeing Gu Yan standing in front of him safe and sound, Mo Yichen breathed a sigh of relief.
“When did you co?”
Gu Yan deliberately shifted the topic, and took the food out of the insulated barrel on her own. She did not even look at Mo Yichen.
Gu Yan’s unusual coldness to Mo Yichen made the atmosphere of the entire room extrely embarrassing.
From ti to ti, Manla peeped at Gu Yan, but she did not know whether Gu Yan heard the words that Mo Yichen had just said.
“Well, just a while. I thought you were hospitalized.”
“No wonder there are so many missed calls on my cell phone.” Gu Yan felt warm for being cared.

“Have you had dinner? You can join us if you don’t mind.”
“That won’t be necessary. I just ca to see you. I’m relieved that you are fine. By the way, how’s your studio recently? Are you still busy?”
Mo Yichen fixed his eyes on Gu Yan.
Gu Yan could feel this hot gaze, but she never had the courage to look back.
“Thanks for taking care of my studio. The studio has been going well.”
Obviously, Mo Yichen asked a serious of questions, while Gu Yan escaped all the ti. One wanted to develop a relationship, but the other avoided it ungratefully.
Manla looked at Mo Yichen, and then looked at Gu Yan. Finally, she couldn’t put up with this kind of atmosphere and waved her hands.
