Chapter 723 Everything could be possible
Gu Yan was very clear about Jiang Jingcheng’s attitude toward work, so she deliberately made fun of him with this matter. Did he really co to her to sign a contract? Not to ntion her, even Jiang Jingcheng himself could not believe this statent, right?
“What contract? Give it to !”
She said that to make his miserable situation even worse and get him exposed. She seed a little an by doing that. He could now tell that she was just teasing him. Hence, he decided not to pretend anymore. Wasn’t the reason that he ca over was to find out what she had said to Gu Manman? Therefore, he no longer intended to beat around the bush.
“I’ll give you the contract next ti because what I took with happens to be the wrong one. What’s up with you two? What did you say to each other?”
His eyes lit up with curiosity. He wanted to know what she and Gu Manman had talked about in the office. Days ago, Gu Manman had been shouting at Gu Yan angrily. He really wanted to know why her attitude had changed so drastically all of a sudden.
And he really wanted to know what had happened in the office when he was absent this morning.
“What could we say to each other? It was about work, of course. If you have sothing to say, just say it. If you don’t, I’m going to work.”
Gu Yan did not intend to tell Jiang Jingcheng what had happened between her and Gu Manman. Firstly, she had only given Gu Manman so simple pointers earlier this morning and she thought there was no need to say about that. Secondly, she was well aware of the power of curiosity.
Yesterday, the atmosphere between her and Gu Manman had been tense, but now, it was as if nothing had happened between the two of them. Gu Yan was very clear about what one would do out of their own curiosity. If Jiang Jingcheng did not know what had happened between her and Gu Manman, he would not let it go so easily.
It was true that nothing had happened between them. Anyway, what they talked about was related to work. But if Gu Yan didn’t tell Jiang Jingcheng anything about it, would he go to Gu Manman to ask about it since he couldn’t get anything from Gu Yan?
No matter what, Gu Yan felt that she was creating opportunities for Gu Manman and Jiang Jingcheng. However, she did not know if Jiang Jingcheng’s curiosity was strong enough for him to go to Gu Manman.

He knew her too well. When she was in bad mood, she would only silently bear her own suffering, no matter how hard it was for her. He was sure that sothing had happened when Gu Yan was at Mo’s family. But at the sa ti, he was also sure that she definitely wouldn’t tell him about it.

If he did not ask anything and she was actually in trouble, he would not let himself beco such a cold-blooded person who would be aloof to watch others suffer in pain every day.
“Gu Yan, what happened to you?”
Gu Yan was already imrsed in her work. Now that she heard Jiang Jingcheng speak again, she naturally thought that she was still questioning what had just happened between her and Gu Manman. Gu Yan had naturally made up her mind not to tell him about that, so she could only shake her head and say nothing.
He stopped talking and only stared at her with a burning gaze. Even if she was unwilling to tell him anything, he felt that he still had to try. What if she was willing to tell him about her troubles and let him help her solve them?

Gu Yan had made up her mind not to say anything, but Jiang Jingcheng’s gaze on her was too intense. She wanted to avoid it, but she just couldn’t get to do so. So she could only smile helplessly. “When has he beco so persistent? If I don’t say anything today, is he going to just stay here and keep an eye on my work?”
