Chapter 71 Apologizing
Next morning, Gu Yan got up early as usual. She ca out of the house with her bag after washing. What happened yesterday was like a dream to her.
Gu Yan saw a silver Rolls-Royce when she just went downstairs.
She knew little about cars but was familiar with this car.
Gu Yan’s heart jolted. She cald herself down quickly and continued moving forward, pretending that she didn’t notice anything.
Mo Yichen knew that she had seen him and blocked her way quickly.
“Why are you ignoring ?”
He asked while knowing the answer.
Gu Yan was emotionless since she was humiliated by his mother and his fiancé in public.
“You are way out of my league. How can I be with you?” Gu Yan answered chillily.
“Well, she is angry as expected.”
Mo Yichen thought and then pulled Gu Yan into the car without any words and closed the door.
“What the hell are you doing?” Gu Yan frowned and wanted to rebel but was overwheld by his powerful aura.
Then Mo Yichen sat on the main driver’s seat and locked the car.
It was so quiet in the car that they could hear each other’s breath.
“What can I do for you, President Mo?” Gu Yan said.
“Please do not talk to like that.” Mo Yichen replied.
Then Gu Yan kept silent.
“Well...I don’t know that Chen Qian would co yesterday and she is not my fiancé.”
Hearing Mo Yichen’s beautiful voice, Gu Yan was stunned, “Did he explain to ?”
“I knew the things that she did later and please accept my apology. I shouldn’t make you go through that.” Mo Yichen seldom talked so gently.
Then Gu Yan felt embarrassed, “I misunderstood him. Why was I angry?”
“Well...It’s not your fault.” Gu Yan looked down and was afraid of looking at Mo Yichen’s eyes.
“I made it clear with Chen Qian and it won’t happen again.”
Gu Yan looked at Mo Yichen who apologized with sincerity in his eyes, as if he was a child who made mistakes.
The ambience was a little strange.
Realizing the unusual atmosphere, Gu Yan turned away quickly and cleared her throat to cover her embarrassnt.
“I even didn’t see your son since I left hurriedly yesterday. He is very cute and I hope I could et him one day.”
Gu Yan changed the topic.
“Great, why now? I will let Wu Gang take the baby to a private club operated by my friend. The club is not far away from here.”
Then Mo Yichen started the car.
“What?” Gu Yan couldn’t follow him. The man changed and determined so fast.
They were already on the way when Gu Yan was still confused.
Then they arrived to a chic residence after a while.
“Here is the club.” Mo Yichen unlocked the seat belt and got off first.
They went into the residence one by one.
“Hello, President Mo. Mr. Wu and the baby are waiting for you.” The waiter showed them the way.
Gu Yan was behind Mo Yichen, and thought, “Why will I feel nervous?”
Wu Gang was playing with the baby hurry-scurry when Mo Yichen and Gu Yan got there.
“Thank God, you’re here. I really couldn’t handle him since he is extrely excited today.”
Gu Yan ca to Mo Xiangyan. She looked at his limpid eyes and felt inexplicably familiar with him.
“What’s his na?” After sitting down with Mo Yichen and seeing Mo Yichen held the baby expertly, Gu Yan asked.
“Mo Xiangyan.”
Gu Yan’s heat leapt.
“What? Mo Xiangyan? Is that because of ?” She thought.
“It seems that “Mo Xiangyan” ant Mo Yichen misses Gu Yan.” Then she asked, “What’s the aning of this na?”
“I am wordless but I wish him to be conversable. ‘Xiang’ ans ‘loudly’, and ‘Yan’ ans ‘words’.” Mo Yichen explained.
“Well...It’s my self-assertion.” Gu Yan thought.
“A nice na. But...What happened to his mother?”
Gu Yan was curious about the baby and didn’t recognize that she was too talkative.
Mo Yichen didn’t respond to her and ordered so foods. Then Gu Yan kept quiet.
Xiangyan loosened his hands which circled Mo Yichen’s neck and wanted to hug Gu Yan.
Gu Yan was stunned, “What does he want?”
Mo Yichen was also surprised but still handed Xiangyan over.
“I didn’t expect that the baby likes you very much.”
“Xiangyan, do you like ?” Gu Yan spoke with lovely voice when she saw Xiangyan’s cute face.
Mo Yichen looked at their intimacy and wished that the ti could stay at this mont.
“Mummy...hug.”
Xiangyan spoke off and on. Even it was unclear but Mo Yichen and Gu Yan heard it clearly.
“What?” Gu Yan was surprised. “Did he call mom?”
Gu Yan looked at Mo Yichen and didn’t notice the montary worry on his face.
It seed that all the things happened as a destiny. Hearing Xiangyan’s words, Gu Yan was flooded by the emotions.
“My baby is the sa age as Xiangyan but I know nothing about my boy.”
Mo Yichen worried about Gu Yan, “Are you OK?”
“Fine, Xiangyan is very cute. I just rember my baby.” Gu Yan took a deep breath.
“I can feel that Xiangyan likes you very much. Would you mind to see him often? You know that the mother is very important for a baby but he doesn’t have a mother.”
Mo Yichen pretended to pay attention to the food when he said it but he actually focused on Gu Yan’s reaction.
“Really? It would be great!” Gu Yan was so delighted and smiled like a child who got candies. Her smiling eyes were alike with Xiangyan.
