Chapter 621 Think it over
Everybody left the boardroom except for Mo Yichen and the new president. A battle would be coming in the room. A few curious people fell behind because they were eager to hear what they would talk about. But both of them didn’t break the ice.
They were waiting for the last person to leave the room.
That person didn’t mind that the directors would laugh at Mo Yichen. But Mo Yichen didn’t want that person to be awkward in front of the company’s directors.
The two harbored their own thoughts under quiet confrontation between them.
At this mont, Gu Yan had arrived at the company’s downstairs. She talked for a while with the receptionist who didn’t let her go upstairs. There were more and more onlookers watching her. She didn’t want to make it worse, so she lowered her voice and begged the young and flirtatious girl in front of her.
However, Gu Yan didn’t know that this girl was a “special talent” assigned by Mo Yichen’s “uncle”. He gave her everything including this job. The girl couldn’t allow Gu Yan to go upstairs to annoy him.
At this ti, the forr assistant of Mo Yichen appeared. Although he didn’t take side in that matter, he still felt he betrayed Mo Yichen to a certain degree.

The girl at the reception desk stuck in an embarrassing position. If she let Gu Yan in, she might be failing in her duty.After all, she had never seen the womanbefore.
But now, the forr assistant of Mo Yichen approved her coming in. She felt embarrassed. After all, the new President Mo had told her they needed to draw the assistant to their side. Because he had being Mo Yichen’s side for a long ti. He must know a lot of secret information about Mo Yichen. It would be helpful for them to cozy him up.
But the assistant didn’t care about their hospitality and flattery. He didn’t say it clearly whether he would help the new president or not, so she didn’t dare to offend him.
“Let her go. I am responsible for it.”
“OK... well.”
Since he said that, she thought if she continued to block, it would be her mistake. She stood sideways to let Gu Yan in.
Gu Yan glanced at him with appreciation. After all, it was so hard for him to help her in such a difficult situation.
But the assistant did not dare to look straight at Gu Yan’s eyes. Gu Yan hurriedly went to the elevator without hesitation. She sent Mo Xiangyan to Li Yunhong’s ward before coming here. The nanny would take care of them. She had no more ti to waste and she had to hurry up.
The assistant saw Gu Yan walk into the elevator. Then he went to the elevator slowly. Seeing the rising elevator of Gu Yan, he pressed the elevator button.

Hearing these remarks, Gu Yan was more anxious. Would Mo Yichen retain his composure? After all, he hated “his uncle” the most now. Could he control his emotions?

The two people standing still there were confused. Before they could figure out what happened, Gu Yan had disappeared. They looked each other and asked in the sa ti,
“Who is she?”
Instantly, they rembered that woman hit the headlines together with Mo Yichen. It seed that she was that woman. It turned out that she was Mo Yichen’s lover. No, more precisely, she was his confidante. It was said that Mo Yichen lost his company because of her. Why did she co to the company?
The two people looked at each other, as if they spotted so secrets. Although they didn’t know what would happen next, they both knew it would be a drama.
Gu Yan was burning with anxiety. She was afraid that Mo Yichen did sothing irreparable impulsively because of so unpleasant words. Thinking of these, Gu Yan quickened her pace.
Finally, she stopped at the door of the boardroom. Mo Yichen and his “uncle” sat on both sides of the long table face to face, talking about sothing. They were not at loggerheads.
Gu Yan breathed a sigh of relief. They were talking, it was unsuitable for her to co inside, so she stopped at the door to have a clear view of both of them. Besides, the door was widely open. She could hear what they were talking about in the room.
Gu Yan also knew it was inappropriate to eavesdrop them. In case Mo Yichen did sothing with impetuosity, she stood still here.
The two people in the room were talking carefully. They knew neither of them could not be underestimated. For fear of being tricked, they listened to each other cautiously.
“Take a word of advice. That place is not suitable for a shopping mall. There are exceptional landscapes. If much effort were done, an exclusive residential district with characteristics will be built. That place is too far from the city center to build a shopping mall. And it will cause a low profit margin and also waste the natural landscape.”
