Chapter 483 Seeing Jiang Jingcheng again
Gu Yan had thought that she could have shown her capabilities after working so hard to set up the studio, but now no one ca at all. Actually, she barely had confidence about the studio. It was Mo Yichen who kept encouraging her to go back to her old business.
However, seeing the present scene, Gu Yan almost lost her last confidence.
Seeing Gu Yan like that, Jiang Jingcheng thought what he could do now was only to comfort her.
“President Gu, please do not give up on yourself. I think it is just a slack season which will be encountered in every business. So please don’t worry. Our studio will be better.”
Gu Yan shook her head and said, “Well, I don’t know when it will be better. If things went on like this, everybody would lose job. I hired you, but I never consider this situation.”
“We should believe in ourselves and cheer up no matter what happened. Moreover, you are our leader. If you lost confidence, who can guide us?”
Gu Yan was amused by Jiang Jingcheng’s words. Actually, she was relieved a lot at the words.
Mo Yichen wasn’t very busy recently. He would return to the company at tis to see how it was going and sign so docunts, then he would co back to wait for Gu Yan.
Mo Yichen ca back from the company today and passed by Gu Yan’s studio. He planned to see how the studio was going but heard the conversation as soon as he entered.
Mo Yichen didn’t know why he could always encounter scenes like this whenever he ca to Gu Yan’s studio. He didn’t know whether it was really a coincidence or not.
What he was unwilling to see happened in front of him, and he didn’t know why God was always joking with him.
Mo Yichen opened the door and went inside directly.
Gu Yan and Jiang Jingcheng were wondering who could be so inconsiderate to walk in without knocking the door when they saw Mo Yichen co in. The smile on Jiang Jingcheng’s face gradually disappeared.
“Good afternoon, President Mo. What are you doing here? Aren’t you busy?” Jiang Jingcheng stood up quickly and greeted Mo Yichen.
Mo Yichen was in a bad mood, and Jiang Jingcheng’s words made him even angrier, “What? Should I inform you before seeing my girlfriend?”
Mo Yichen especially stressed the pronunciation of the word “girlfriend” on purpose.
Jiang Jingcheng was tactful and understood what Mo Yichen ant. Now he could only concede, “Sorry, I didn’t an that. Please don’t mind that. I shall leave first.” Then he went out from the office.
“I know that you don’t like Jiang Jingcheng, but since I have employed him, I hope that you can be magnanimous and forget about what has happened.” After Jiang Jingcheng went out, Gu Yan ca close to Mo Yichen and said.
“So you’re saying I should not be so petty and should treat people like him gently?”
“You know I don’t an that. I just don’t want you to have any prejudice against him. After all, he was responsible for his previous tasks.”
“Of course. Otherwise, how could he have been lurking around you for so long?” Mo Yichen was filled with anger, but had no place to release it.
Mo Yichen didn’t and would never change his attitude towards Jiang Jingcheng. He had been thinking that Gu Yan shouldn’t let Jiang Jingcheng return to the studio.

He was a talented person and she really needed such a person in the studio. After all, the studio was just set up and didn’t have a lot of staff, so Jiang Jingcheng, who was familiar with her previous studio, could help her a lot.
Jiang Jingcheng also ca to explain that Chen Qian commanded him to do the previous things. And he had no choice at all.
Gu Yan thought that one could be forgiven for past mistakes, so she let Jiang Jingcheng return to the studio.
Full of anger, Mo Yichen didn’t want to talk with Gu Yan anymore and walked away. Out of sight and out of mind. Gu Yan was left alone in the studio.
Mo Yichen went downstairs and got into the car. Glancing at that room upstairs where the light was still on, he sighed and drove off.
But when he returned ho, he started to regret what he did once. He quarreled with Gu Yan at first and didn’t accompany her ho. It was so late. If she got in any danger, that would be terrible. When Mo Yichen would take his coat and go back to the studio, he heard a rustle outside the door.
“You have co back. I’m just going to call you.” Gu Yan took off her shoes and asked, considering how to comfort him.
“Well, I ca back just now.” Mo Yichen opened his mouth but said no more words. He preferred to keep his worries in mind as long as she was safe. Then, he put down the coat and car keys in his hands, and sat down on the sofa.
Saying nothing, Gu Yan changed clothes in the bedroom and went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. It seed that they were strangers instantly.
“So...You and Jiang Jingcheng...” Mo Yichen said first.
“Do you doubt ?” Hearing that, Gu Yan was surprised. She didn’t expect that Mo Yichen would doubt her. She stopped what she was doing and ca up to Mo Yichen, staring at him.
There had been absolute loyalty and trust between them for a long ti. And for her, there was no hidden secrets between them.
But when Mo Yichen ntioned Jiang Jingcheng again, Gu Yan thought Mo Yichen didn’t trust her.
“No, I believe you certainly but I just don’t trust him.” Seeing that Gu Yan was hurt by his words, Mo Yichen regretted his words.
“Really? You’d better not lie to .” Gu Yan stared at Mo Yichen quietly for a mont and prepared to return to the kitchen. But she was pulled by a hand and fell on the sofa.
Pulling Gu Yan down in his arms, Mo Yichen embraced her and didn’t let her break away, “I certainly believe you, but I just beca inexplicably angry when I saw you stay with him. Please don’t hate .”
Gu Yan was a little angry originally, but her temper fell to zero after Mo Yichen apologized. Sighing, she embraced Mo Yichen and patted his back, “Ok, I understand what you said. That’s all right.”
