Chapter 42 Surviving in real danger
Mo Yichen smiled and looked at Wu Gang sullenly.
“What did she say?” Mo Yichen said coldly, which, to so extent, showed his puzzlent at this mont. He wanted to know why Gu Yan refused his help.
“Miss. Gu said ‘I don’t need’ at last, and then we couldn’t contact her anymore.” Wu Gang couldn’t understand what Gu Yan was thinking and was surprised that she placed the phone number into the blacklist.
“She doesn’t need?” Did she refuse the job without thinking? Mo Yichen repeated that sentence and could even imagine Gu Yan’s disdain at that mont.
“Yes, she said nothing except that.” Wu Gang suddenly felt that Mo Yichen was more emotional than before. “Miss. Gu, you are really admirable in that no one can affect the mood of my boss except you.” Wu Gang thought.

Walking out of the talent market, Gu Yan experienced the mood of ‘going with the happiness, but coming back with disappointnt’ once again. Those interviewers refused her as before. She sighed helplessly.
“Ding...” Gu Yan’s mind was interrupted by the SMS tone and then she saw a ssage from Wen Yunfeng, “Do you think I will let you go so easily? You are daydreaming.”
“Wen Yunfeng, you are a real bastard!” Gu Yan shouted at the entrance of talent market angrily, and people passing there talked about her.
Gu Yan was extrely angry, but she could do nothing. Then she left with her resus in a hurry.
Gu Yan threw her resus on the sofa heavily and slumped down on it. She got more and more angry, so she pounded the soft sofa with her fist.
“I thought I could do everything I wanted as long as I divorced Wen Yunfeng, but that bastard was as ruthless as before. Isn’t he a big boss? Why does he still have ti to torture ? He is really abnormal. Ah...” Gu Yan shouted on the sofa.
It seed that as long as Gu Yan was in this city, Wen Yunfeng would make trouble for her. She couldn’t find a job here because no company dared to offend Wen’s company. She should have known that Wen Yunfeng would not let her live well in this life, but why did she still think that she had chances of finding a job?
“Argh! He was really ruthless.” Gu Yan complained with sadness.
She could do nothing more. Now that she couldn’t find a job, the only way to live was to contract so decoration projects.
Now, she didn’t have much ti, so she started to act.
“Manla, I need your help.” Gu Yan called Manla and asked for help.
“Tell .” Manla was so busy with her work at the mont that she could only express her thoughts quickly in short words.
“I will tell you after work and just go ahead with your work.” Gu Yan looked at the ti and said embarrassedly. She blad herself for being so impulsive that she even forgot that Manla was at work now.
“Bye.” After saying that, Manla hung up the phone quickly, because she was really busy now.
Gu Yan had a simple idea. Firstly, she asked Manla to print so leaflets with her new phone number. Gu Yan had bought another cheap mobile phone and a new phone card in order to conceal her identity.
In the evening, Gu Yan ran to the building sites which were about to be completed and sneaked into the buildings to hand out leaflets. Nowadays, office workers were as busy as Manla and they wouldn’t go ho until getting off work, so Gu Yan squeezed those leaflets through the doors, which made her extrely tired.
At the sa ti, Manla was responsible for contacting acquainted online publicists to publish relevant decoration information on the Internet, which could promote Gu Yan’s popularity.
“Does it really work?” Manla leaned against the sofa with her laptop on legs and asked while eating potato chips.
“It all depends on luck.” Gu Yan lay on the sofa and answered thoughtfully.
“I don’t think it works. Now the competition is so fierce that your publicity may be useless.” Manla expressed her true thoughts. Potato chips in her hand were eaten up soon, so she opened another bag of chips and continued eating.
“I know, but I still want to have a try.” Gu Yan knew what Manla was thinking, but now she could only utilize well-known companies to gain her popularity.
“Aren’t you afraid of being discovered?” Manla asked and looked worriedly at Gu Yan who was on the sofa after she opened the publicity webpage and found that Gu Yan said she was from a well-known company.
Yes, Gu Yan ntioned in the publicity that she resigned from a famous company and started her own studio now.
“Ho-ho. I am just telling the truth. I have really worked as an intern in that company for a short ti.” At first, Gu Yan was a little guilty. But it was true that she had worked there for so ti.
“When did you beco so tricky?” Manla was quite surprised that Gu Yan who had been a timid girl before should be so sophisticated now. She looked back at Gu Yan, who had no expression at the mont.
“Why do you say that I am tricky? What I said is true.” Gu Yan sat up and showed an expression of disapproval for Manla’s teasing.
“Okay, anyway, the most important thing is that soone will contact you after seeing the publicity.” Manla smiled and delivered her potato chips to Gu Yan.
Gu Yan took a piece of it. Potato chips were Manla’s favorite food, so she never shared them with others. But now she shared them with Gu Yan, representing her greatest support for Gu Yan.
