Chapter 35 Divorce
The day to divorce arrived soon. Gu Yan and Wen Yunfeng went to Marriage Registry.
The staff looked at the two emotionless people who sat opposite him and was about to go through the procedure of conciliation.
So, he asked, “Do you really want to get divorced?”
Four eyes stared at him straightforwardly, which made him embarrassed.
“Well, it seed impossible to be reconciled.” He omitted unnecessary processes and went straightly to the final step.
Then Gu Yan and Wen Yunfeng had officially divorced and walked out of Marriage Registry indifferently.
Seeing Wen Yunfeng ignored her and wanted to leave, Gu Yan stopped him.
“What?” Wen Yunfeng said coldly without looking back and treated her as a stranger.
“Now that we divorced, please stop interfering my job searching?” Gu Yan thought he would promise her.
But Wen Yunfeng looked grimr when he heard that. He turned around slowly and stared at Gu Yan.
It gave her the creeps and she wanted to lighten the atmosphere.
“I think you were very capable. Do you need to find a job by yourself?” Wen Yunfeng replied ironically.
“I thought you would change your mind when you were willing to divorce . How stupid I was!” She should know it.
“Don’t be silly! I won’t forgive you and you’d better disappear. To find a job is not a big deal for you. You can get everything you want just by ingratiating yourself with Mo Yichen at night.” Wen Yunfeng felt disgusting for hearing one more word from Gu Yan.
Seeing that Wen Yunfeng drove away, Gu Yan looked at the divorce certificate and thought, “I am free at last!”
She stood there for a while until Manla picked her up.
Manla was very happy and took her to a restaurant for celebrating.
“Let’s enjoy a delicious al!” Manla was very happy because Gu Yan finally beca free from Wen’s family.
“Sure!” Gu Yan replied.
They waited for the al after ordering.
Suddenly, Manla pointed to sowhere excitedly, “Look, there is a handso man!”
Gu Yan followed the direction and saw an ordinary man who was tall and thin. She thought, “Was this Manla’s type?”
Gu Yan looked at Manla confusedly and questioned her taste, “A beautiful woman with a good figure should like this kind of n?”
“Why are you looking at like that?” Manla felt Gu Yan seed to contempt for her taste.
“Hmmm...is this your type?” Gu Yan looked incredulously.
“Co on, he is very handso. Although he looks skinny, he must have solid muscle under that shirt.” Manla looked like an idiot, which made Gu Yan very incomprehensible.
“Handso face? But it seed that he was common and too skinny. Hmmm...white shirt...wait!”
“Did you say a white shirt?” Gu Yan asked. “Did I misunderstand her?”
“Yes! What’s wrong?” Manla felt confused.
“Alright, I got the wrong person. I thought it was the man who was in a black suit.” Gu Yan was embarrassed. “Gosh! I should have known that a beauty like Manla wouldn’t have such bad taste. It was that got the wrong person.”
After seeing the man in a black suit who was sitting in front of them, Manla looked at Gu Yan speechlessly.
Gu Yan was embarrassed and smiled, “You know I have poor eyesight. Alright, let take a look again.”
Gu Yan looked at that man again. She could only see half of his face with chiseled facial features and dashing eyebrows. His bright eyes were staring at the woman who was with him. Gu Yan was a little familiar with him and wanted to see clearly, but he was blocked by other people.
The waiter served the food soon at the sa ti and Manla couldn’t wait to eat.
The bright and unfathomable eyes looked at Gu Yan secretly.
Chen Qian sat opposite Mo Yichen and was dissatisfied for she had been ignored by him for the whole night. She dressed up and waited him for whole afternoon, and then could she finally have supper with him. Chen Qian felt very angry but speechless.
Seeing Chen Qian, a well-dressed woman with sophisticated look, Mo Yichen inadvertently reminded Gu Yan and that day at Nanfeng Hotel. She was very beautiful even though she didn’t dress up.
It was his mother who complained that he had let Chen Qian wait for so long ti and required him to have dinner with Chen Qian at this restaurant. Now Mo Yichen got a little bit comfort since he saw Gu Yan here.
He ate quietly and totally ignored what was Chen Qian talking about.
“Yichen, shall we have dinner tomorrow?” Chen Qian asked him coquettishly.
She repeated it after she got no response from Mo Yichen.
“No, I have a lot of etings.” Mo Yichen prevented Chen Qian from speaking the third ti.
“What about the day after tomorrow?” Chen Qian didn’t give up.
“Sorry, not free!” Mo Yichen was a president and have no ti to stay with “a princess” like Chen Qian day after day.
“Ok.” Chen Qian was disappointed but she had nothing to say.
“I will take you ho after dinner.” Mo Yichen hurried Chen Qian.
“It is so early. I thought we were going to date.” What? It should be their sweet ti after dinner.
“I have sothing else to do.” Mo Yichen said. Xiao Tian was waiting for him at ho.
“Alright.” Chen Qian didn’t want to argue with him. “Maybe he really has sothing else to do and I can’t make trouble. I will be fine.”
Mo Yichen looked at Gu Yan. It seed that the divorce had no effect on her and she was talking with her friend and laughing.
Chen Qian noticed that Mo Yichen was looking at soone secretly.
There were lots of people in the restaurant at that ti. She followed Mo Yichen’s gaze but couldn’t see clearly. “What the hell is he looking at?”
Chen Qian looked at Mo Yichen’s delicate face, and thought indignantly, “One day, I will make you fall in love with like I did.”
