Chapter 330 One more opportunity
“Is there anything ok? It seems that your mom is unsatisfied. Have I done anything wrong?” Jiang Jingcheng asked anxiously when Mrs. Chen left. After all, he couldn’t offend Mrs. Chen who would be his mother-in-law in the future.
“Never mind. She was just sleepy. Whenever she is sleepy, she will be in a bad mood.”

Then Jiang Jingcheng sat on the sofa, watching Chen Qian washing dishes. He seed to be stressed.

“Be careful on your way! And, wait!” Chen Qian took her plastic gloves off and rushed to Jiang Jingcheng. She buttoned up his coat and said, “Drive carefully, OK? Call when you arrive ho.”
“And don’t forget the most important thing that we have planned.” Chen Qian looked up at Jiang Jingcheng. He listened to her carefully, which made Chen Qian feel relieved.

On the next day, Jiang Jingcheng was called to Gu Yan’s office when he just entered the studio. Actually, he was still tired and sleepy!
He shook his head and wanted to refresh himself as soon as possible. He didn’t dare to neglect for Gu Yan looked at him seriously.
“Jingcheng, do you have any ideas for this project on the south of the city?”
“Yes, I have!” Jiang Jingcheng suddenly felt sober and answered imdiately. He found out from his folder the project plan which was written by him when he couldn’t sleep last night.
“This is the project plan prepared for this project. You can have a look.” He had already prepared and spent a lot of energy on it.
Gu Yan took the project plan handed over by Jiang Jingcheng and read it carefully page by page. Sotis she also marked so lines on it.
Jiang Jingcheng looked at Gu Yan who focused on working and rembered the conversation he made with Chen Qian and Mrs. Chen. He couldn’t believe that Gu Yan was a sophisticated woman!
She spent a lot of ti at work. She always worked till midnight with the staff of studio and sotis worked even later. Everyone in the studio knew her efforts. Jiang Jingcheng was confused and he didn’t know what she was thinking.
Did she really love her work or just pretend to?
Jiang Jingcheng used to believe that Gu Yan loved her work. But now, things were different. He knew she was a terrible woman. Because she would do everything to achieve her goal. All she did was to hide her true colors.
Jiang Jingcheng dozed off when he was thinking. Standing opposite Gu Yan, he staggered and it seed that he would fall to the ground at any ti.
“That’s good! Jingcheng, when did you make it? It’s pretty good!”
Without any answer, Gu Yan looked at the sleepy guy and laughed. Then she beca indifferent again. As the boss in the studio, she must set an example to prevent such situation.
“Jiang Jingcheng? Jiang Jingcheng? Jiang Jingcheng?”
She called his na more and more loudly. Jiang Jingcheng didn’t hear her until she called his na for the third ti. His body trembled slightly and his whole body fell to one side!
“I’m sorry for that, Ms. Gu! I’m so sorry. Please forgive !” He imdiately knew he was wrong, stood straightly, lowered his head and apologized sincerely.
“What did you do last night? Why are you so sleepy? If you do it again, you will be fired!”
“Look at yourself. Is this your attitude towards your work? I gave you the job because I trust you! But what you have done is too disappointing.” The more Gu Yan said, the angrier she was. She even wanted to throw these docunts and fire the sleepy guy!

After hearing what he had said, Gu Yan’s anger just disappeared instantly, and she cherished Jiang Jingcheng more who spent most of his ti working and even forgot to have als or go to bed. What a great staff!
“Jingcheng, I know you love this job, but you also have to take care of yourself. Great enterprise cos from good health. You can stay up for an hour or two, but you cannot sleep only two hours, understand? Please take care of yourself and don’t do that again!”
“And I’ll give you a day off. You can go back and have a nice rest. As for your tasks, Assistant Liu will help you.”
Then Gu Yan sat on her chair and ca to read the docunts on her desk earnestly. When she looked up, she saw Jiang Jingcheng was still standing there. It seed that he didn’t want to leave at all.
Jiang Jingcheng looked at her with hidden bitterness. With a complex expression, he was unpredictable.
“What’s wrong? Do you have anything else to show ?” Gu Yan putted down the docunts and covered her pen with a pen cap. She looked at the thoughtful man in front of her with interest.
“I want to stay and work, Ms. Gu. I just...”
“But can you really take it? You’d better go back to have a rest. Don’t worry about your work. Health is the most important thing. Don’t run yourself down.” Gu Yan continued to persuade him to have a rest. She always believed that a healthy body was the base to work better.
“I’m ok. I know my own body. What I want to do most now is to do this job well. Ms. Gu, what do you think of my plan? Is there anything that needs to be modified?”
