Chapter 12 eting with crisis
The sun was blazing like a ball of fire in the sumr noon. But in the room, the curtains shielded against the sunlight outside.
Gu Yan opened her eyes slowly and kept a close watch on the ceiling. Then she looked at the white ceiling and beca conscious, “Where am I?”
She sat up slowly and soliloquized, “Oh, my head hurts. What happened?” She reached out and touched her head where was a white adhesive plaster.
She suddenly rembered what happened yesterday: the scene in Nanfeng Hotel last night ca to her mind. The hateful Wen Yunfeng cheated her to go to Nanfeng Hotel. When she found there was a dirty man who tangled with her, she wanted to slip away. Fortunately, soone helped her out in ti.
After the good-hearted man saved her, he fought with the dirty man. She wanted to stop him but was accidentally pushed down on the wall. “Then I am hurt on the head.” Gu Yan rembered.
Was this the Nanfeng Hotel? It seed not. Gu Yan observed this room: it was small with an ordinary table and a small LCD TV. There was nothing else but the bed.
It was not such marvelous as Nanfeng Hotel. How could such a fancy hotel be so ordinary? It should be the good-hearted man to send her here.
After her head hurt last night, Gu Yan wanted to rember his appearance and she would like to thank him in the future.
However, she seldom rembered the appearance of the good-hearted man. “Gosh, my head hurts a lot. I have a lot of things on my mind lately and my mory is all ss up.”
Speaking of last night, Gu Yan cannot help thinking deeply. The dirty man Zhang Shi’an was beaten. Although she was out of danger, she knew that these rich people would hold the grudge. The orders of Wen Group would be hopeless. Anyway, Wen Yunfeng, this hateful man wanted her to die, but God failed to et his aspiration.
After that incident last night, Gu Yan was completely disappointed at Wen Yunfeng, the man who wanted her life. She had nothing to cling to him. As for Wen Group, she believed that she tried her best but gained with such insults. It really made her chill. “I’ve had enough of it. From then on, Wen Yunfeng and his everything will have nothing to do with !” Gu Yan told herself.
She lifted the quilt and found that the ribbon on her shoulder was broken. “Oh, bad luck! It is in the hotel now. I can only change clothes after leaving the hotel. How the people outside will think of .” Gu Yan thought.
Gu Yan thought about it in depression. Then she found a white OL suit on the bed. At that mont, Gu Yan felt a little warm kindness.
It must be the good-hearted man to prepare it for her. He was so kind to save her and did such a warm thing. There were only a handful of people who cared about Gu Yan. It was lucky that a stranger could help her so much, but she forgot the appearance of the good-hearted man.
Gu Yan took that OL suit to the restroom, changed her own dirty clothes and put on the suit. Well, the size was just right.
Gu Yan looked at herself in the mirror. There was no makeup at all. She remained an ordinary woman with nothing, but it didn’t an that she could be trampled and insulted by anyone.
Gu Yan turned on the faucet and splashed water on her face.
Out of the hotel, Gu Yan felt the blazing sunshine today. She was in a bad mood. It was ti for her to find Wen Yunfeng, the man wanted her to die. Seeing that she was still alive and ssed up his order, would he be mad? Even if she did sothing unforgivable and the relationship was over, he would not treat her like this. Gu Yan was very angry. Her stoop to compromise in the previous two years was a big joke. She thought naively that she had paid so much that she could get pity from the man. She had had enough sarcasm and ridicule during the two years. From now on, she wanted to get rid of it.
Gu Yan called a taxi to Wen Group.
In the Wen Group
Early in this morning, the senior managent of Wen Group raged. Zhang Group inford them that the Wen Group was eliminated from the candidates for the new project, and several previous projects working with Zhang Group were also suspended.
And the Breach of Contact was also sent to Wen Group this morning. What the hell happened? The company worked overti for half a month to make the new program for Zhang Group. Now they were removed from the list of candidate companies, and several cooperative projects were halted. Zhang Group would pay a large penal sum rather than cooperate with Wen Group.
