As a result, the second partner ended up doing nothing and left.

Kwon Youngjae, whose erection hadn’t subsided like an unextinguishable torch, slept through the entire day after experiencing a thoroughly satisfying ejaculation the night before.

After a full day’s rest, his rut had cald down, and feeling better than usual, he sent the partner away, saying he no longer needed assistance.

“Executive Director, it would be fine to rest another day. Your rut ended earlier than expected.”

“No need. Prepare for imdiate departure.”

“Yes, then I’ll try to reschedule the earliest possible flight.”

Heewon scanned the tablet calmly. Fortunately, the plane ticket was already booked, so advancing the return date wasn’t an issue.

While fastening his watch buckle, Kwon glanced casually at his secretary. The neat way he brushed back his hair and perford his duties was the Kim Heewon he knew well.

“Secretary Kim.”

“Yes?”

“You must’ve been looking forward to your vacation. Too bad you couldn’t really enjoy it.”

At those words, Heewon slowly lifted his head. His large eyes dilated slightly, but his expression remained unchanged.

“No, I’m fine. It was your rut vacation, not mine.”

“Alright. Good work.”

No one ntioned what had transpired just a day ago here.

They had silently agreed on that.

It wasn’t forced; both had enjoyed it. Adults sharing a night of pleasure without assigning any special aning—just sothing to be forgotten.

...At least that’s what they thought.

After returning to Korea, Kwon Youngjae slipped back into his usual routine. Heewon, assisting him, was just as swamped.

“Executive Director, I recomnd changing your tie.”

Heewon suggested swapping the tie for an upcoming panel discussion. Since many politicians would attend, a color free from political connotations was necessary.

Kwon, busy reading emails on his phone, delegated the tie choice to his secretary. Sitting roughly on his desk, he loosened the tie he was wearing. Without being told, Kim took the tie and replaced it with a simple black one on Kwon’s shirt collar.

Helping him tie ties was commonplace—hundreds of tis, if counted.

As usual, Heewon tied the knot quickly and efficiently but suddenly stopped, noticing Kwon’s face right in front of him. The lips were too close—actually, he could see nothing but lips.

Though he could tie a tie with his eyes closed, his fingers suddenly tangled as if broken. The knot ended up terribly made, and noticing this, Kwon gave Heewon a strange look.

“What’s wrong?”

“...Sorry.”

In the end, Kwon tied the tie himself. Heewon bent down to help with a tie pin but caught sight of Kwon’s crotch this ti.

Covered by a jet-black suit, the lower body showed subtle curves. Even though Kwon wasn’t aroused, his mber clearly asserted its presence along its stored direction.

Had it... always stuck out like this?

Heewon had never consciously noticed before. He didn’t know why it stuck in his eyes now.

He quickly straightened his back and cald his trembling breath. Since earlier, Kwon had been staring at Heewon intently, not at his phone. Apparently, Kwon found Heewon’s behavior strange too.

“Is there a problem?”

“No, no problem at all.”

“You know you look a bit crazy right now?”

Kwon stared for a while longer, then nodded for him to leave. Heewon politely bowed and walked out.

As soon as he returned to his seat, he banged his head on the desk.

The loud thud made several secretaries stand and check on him.

“What was that? Are you okay?”

“Manager! Are you alright?”

Heewon slowly raised his head. His eyes looked half-lost already.

“This isn’t good... I’m going to take a short break. Call if there’s anything urgent.”

Clutching his phone, he staggered out of the office. The secretaries exchanged confused looks. Kim had definitely beco strange after returning from the overseas trip.

At Apex, there is a departnt called the .

Though part of HR, it has an independent office and mainly diates conflicts between labor and managent within the company. Because many employees struggling with unfair treatnt visit, the office is notably cozy and comfortable compared to usual offices.

The team has only a few mbers: the team leader, Im Jaegyu, and a recently recruited newcor. Just the two of them.

Team Leader Im Jaegyu wore a navy vest ill-suited to his suit shirt and a headband with ‘Unity! Struggle!’ written on it. His appearance was the very image of a militant union.

“How’s this? I had it made new this year.”

“Looks super strong!”

“Right? A union should at least wear sothing like this when fighting! And shave their head too.”

“But Team Leader, will we actually have to protest? We’re labor attorneys... aren’t we supposed to remain neutral?”

The newcor asked with mixed worry and concern, and Im Jaegyu chuckled. Actually, the Labor Relations Team wasn’t radical at all. It was known for being idle due to lack of work. Apex even had no union.

Watching the nervous newcor who took the joke seriously reminded him of when he first joined. Im Jaegyu puffed up and sank deep into his chair.

“If bad things happen to employees, we step up! Especially since our company is family-run. Places like this tend to beco breeding grounds for corruption. You understand?”

“Yes.”

“First, know who the managent is. You must know your enemy to prepare!”

“Enemy...?”

The newcor looked more confused but diligently took notes. This was the ti he was learning the Apex managent and executive lineage.

A soft knock interrupted. Since visitors were rare, both Im and the newcor turned sharply.

The door opened to reveal a nearly dying-looking Kim Heewon.

“Oh, it’s managent!”

Im Jaegyu loudly exclaid. Managent? The surprised newcor widened his eyes as Im pointed at Heewon.

“That guy is Executive Director Kwon Youngjae’s personal secretary.”

“Is he soone to be wary of?”

“Definitely! He’s fiercely loyal to Director Kwon. You don’t want to be fooled by that soft face—he’s a ruthless guy!”

“Team Leader Im, I’m going to take a short break.”

No matter what was said, Heewon ignored it and claid a corner sofa. His slumping posture showed he’d been there more than once.

“I’m joking. He’s my classmate from when I joined. He hangs out here often, so don’t worry.”

Only then did Im pat the newcor’s stiff shoulders and explain. Then he wheeled his chair swiftly to Heewon’s sofa, stopped its spin, and crossed his legs smoothly.

“Sir, if you’re going to sleep, please go to the break room.”

“This place is empty and the quietest.”

“Am I not a person?”

“Jaegyu, could you be a bit quieter?”

Heewon put his shoe-clad feet on the armrest and sprawled comfortably. He treated the Labor Relations Team’s sofa like his own bed, calmly folding his hands on his belly and staring blankly at the ceiling before murmuring,

“I think I’ve got a screw loose in my head.”

“Like Gungye? Filming a historical drama?”

“I keep having dirty thoughts.”

Im Jaegyu bent over suddenly with a sharp movent and opened his eyes wide.

Wow! That’s hilarious!

He scooted his chair closer and grabbed Heewon’s arm, shaking it.

“Suddenly? Why? Any change of heart? Tell in detail based on the five Ws and one H.”

“No, seriously, it’s bad. It happens so often I can’t work.”

Heewon sighed weakly.

He thought it was due to lack of sexual stimulation. People need to regularly experience pleasure, but living a dry daily life without it made his brain unable to adapt to sudden stimulation.

He glanced sideways at Jaegyu’s face. Looking at him made the sudden naughty thoughts subside, but he didn’t know when they might return. It was a nuisance.

“Jaegyu, should I start dating? Maybe it’s because I’ve been off for so long?”

“Got ti for dating?”

“You make ti if you want.”

“Want to set you up?”

Im Jaegyu was a well-connected guy. He had nearly three thousand contacts saved.

“Just say the word. I can match you with anyone you want.”

“...Soone mature, first.”

“Okay, mature.”

“Taller than , preferably.”

“Then over 180 cm... so, a man?”

Heewon’s request made Im’s jaw drop in surprise.

“You even like n now?”

“It’s not like I dislike them.”

“Shocking after shocking. Well, whatever.”

Im quickly narrowed down a few Instagram IDs and sent them to Heewon. They were all A-list handso guys with good education, good jobs, and decent faces.

“If you like soone, DM them tonight. I’ll give them a heads-up.”

“All Betas?”

“Of course Betas. Want to et an Alpha? If you want, I can introduce one.”

“No, I prefer Betas.”

Heewon put his phone down on his belly. His mood was still restless. He felt he needed to cover those mories with other thoughts soon to feel at ease.
