The house was made of humble materials and it was obvious indeed because of the modest appearance of its dwellers. Our very own protagonist was of course included in this family. "I'm sorry, mom. I failed." Clark was at least honest in his answer. There was no point in lying after all since he could even destroy this planet without even raising one finger. It was his ego as a true powerhouse which made him disdain to lie to these poor people. "…" A brief awkward silence ensued before it was broken by a ringing laughter. "I see. The aging woman consoled but there was already traces of tears dropping from the side of her eyes.
