Chapter 832 Chapter 832 An Unexpected Quest
A few months passed and our bored gar's life in the city of Lucky Origin stayed calm and comfortable.
There was nothing that he needed to prove nor do and his aspirations laid in this humble city for now and so everything was perfect for him.
The sa could be said to the people that was around him since our good gar simply radiated simplicity at its finest.
He was a great boss in the Pill Emporium store because he treated everyone equally with respect. The workers in the store led a happy working career under our very own protagonist.
The easy days went by like this until a very special occasion has arrived in ti.

This was only a humble gathering and the numbers of the guest only amounted to more than a hundred people. The majority of them were all loyal workers of the Pill Emporium store.
The rest were family and close relatives which was not that many to be frank.
Out of the hundreds of half siblings and 3 true siblings that our bored gar had, only 1 of them was present in his 30th birthday. Her na was Su Ai and she was older than Clark by 5 years.
Aside from her, our good gar's mother Xie Ming was also there to attend her son's birthday. The Patriarch of the Su Clan was of course unsurprisingly missing from the event.
This was nothing unusual at all since the head of the family was always busy and all. Nevertheless, Clark never held any resentnt from this man's actions.
"Happy birthday, younger brother! Accept this little gift from your big sister. I wish that you would never have to need them but if tragedy cos, I hope that this will save you in those dire tis."
Su Ai said and gave 3 escaping talismans that was locked inside a gift box. Su Ai may have been already 35 but she looked not a day older than 18 and extrely pretty.
This was of course nothing new since almost all cultivators possessed an out of this world exterior and charm.

He accepted it with a thankful heart instead. It was his mother's turn to co to him next.

Still, she was proud of how selfless and mature her son had been. He had willingly let go of Zi Ling and set her free to return to the Silver Sea Palace.
A mother could have never asked for a better son than Su Wen.
"I can't be anymore happier than today, mother. Your presence is all that I needed. And thank you for coming tonight. Even big sister Su Ai with all her allure could only co second next to you.
You made this day a whole lot more morable, mother." Clark smiled and granted a kiss on his mother's forehead.
His mother also suffered because of his inability before but he could only hope that his father would spend more ti with Xie Ming.
Alas, that was a hard wish to fulfill since the man had hundreds of wives and was also busy cultivating at the sa ti. There was a few that was bound to be left wanting in the end.
"You and your sweet tongue." Xie Ming giggled briefly before giving her son a tight hug.
She wanted to give her son more than the normal mortal life he had but alas, so things were just not ant to be.
"I won't let you go ho without you puking your guts out, mother. Co on, let's drink until morning!" Clark issued a challenge and he would try his best to complete it.
Although it would be a tall order to intoxicate a true cultivator with this kind of average spirits but at least our bored gar will do his hardest.
The party lasted for 4 days before our avid gar finally tumbled to rest with one last cup.
"Nice try, Wen'er." Xie Ming praised his deep slumbering son.
"I can't believe that he lasted this long against us, mother." Su Ai comnted in the side. She could not help but rope herself in on the drinking challenge also.

Xie Ming smiled and spent so more ti looking at his son with love.
"I agree, mother. This little brother of mine is really sothing else." Su Ai nodded and followed the gaze of her mother.

"Another one?" The Su Patriarch opened a palm and the letter floated towards him. It did not need telling that he had received quite a lot of important ssages today already.
He spent less than breath to read the contents of this newly arrived letter. He did not even have to open the thing in order to perceive what was written.

His hand movents were as sharp as the blade he was wielding.
