Ladon didn't leave us much choice but to search for the nest ourselves as he tore the Saurians apart in a grand and bloody fashion. I took the five bundles of lifeforce from the corpses and passed it all to him since he was the one who hunted them. The Pollygrog's nest was as I said nearby under the roots of a tree that had been dug out slightly. There were three of them that looked like swamp green large roughly stone marbles in total.-
"Hmm, was only expecting a single egg so this complicates things a bit. What do we do with the others?" I asked the others.
"One of them is mine so really we only need to deal with the last two right?" Lil asked and I nodded.
"Yeah but that's the issue." I said helplessly.
"I want one that looks like that!" Brick said pointing at Ladon excitedly.
I paused at that as there was an interesting idea. Maybe I couldn't get away with making a bunch of dragons like Ladon but what about much smaller and more docile creatures that LOOKED like dragons?-
Not for myself mind you as I very much doubted Ladon wouldn't attempt to eat the things the mont I turned my back but as a special ordered pet for rich folk. I even thought of a unique na for the species to sell them under "Fairy Drakes". All I'd need to satisfy a demand for the things would be enough lifeforce to remake the [Multilimbed(Winged quadruped)-Legendary grade] trait Ladon had and grab the [Beautiful form] trait to stuff into so eggs and boom, mini dragon(fire not included). Pollygrogs were already pretty popular as pets so it wouldn't be hard to see my idea being VERY profitable indeed.-
"Alright you've convinced !" I said eagerly as I snatched up the eggs from the nest.
"I know that look, you ca up with sort of crazy idea haven't you?" Roland asked with a concerned expression.
"It's not crazy and technically he gave the idea!" I said defensively while pointing at Brick.
"Kinda afraid to ask but what's the idea?" Lil asked curiously.
"So I can't really get away with making a bunch of repeats of Ladon but theres actually no reason I can't make smaller and less expensive mini dragons to sell to rich folk for profit. In fact I honestly only need two traits to pull it off." I explained with a grin.
"Not all that crazy an idea. Pollygrog are already real popular pets but a version of them that looks like a dragon? So people will pay a mint for sothing like that." Mordy said with an intrigued look.
"Is it too late to ask for mine to be like that cuz that sounds aweso?" Lil asked and I just chuckled.
"Nah, I'll be copying a trait from you for one of these eggs anyways so it's no problem. Gotta move fast though as Pollygrog eggs have a short two week long incubation period." I said seriously.
"Which trait?" she asked curiously.
"Beautiful form. Not sure why but all sirens minus myself have it and it serves to beautify the holder to a great deal. It's why Ladon doesn't look as ugly as these other Saurians as that was one of the traits I used on him while he was still an egg." I explained casually.
"Why don't you have it?" Roland asked curiously.
"Not one hundred percent sure but I assu it's because of the way my powers work compared to the other siren powers. My powers nearly constantly transform my body so the trait would likely be overwheld sooner or later and so hadn't been made a part of the powers as a result. Honestly it wouldn't surprise at all if the ones who made these powers originally added that feature to the female power sets just to try and improve the compatibility between them and my male power set." I said with a shrug.
"Like a harem?" Lil asked with a disgusted look.
"Is it so hard to understand why? My powers would naturally set as one of the most powerful sirens alive at any given iteration with enough ti. The creators of the power sets likely wanted to create a thod to tie the holder down to their wills sohow and what better thod than emotional shackles?" I with a chuckle.
"You seem awfully chill about the idea of being manipulated like that." Mordy pointed out with a confused expression while the others nodded.
"That's because they failed. People aren't so simple. The trick would certainly raise the probability of the owner of my powerset shacking up with one of the female power set owners but it takes more than re beauty for true attachnts to form. No offense Lil but we'd never work out, sa goes for Steele and . Our personalities clash in too many spots that given ti any hook up between us would crumble." I said with a smirk.
Lil just laughed and shrugged "I couldn't agree more. Friends is just right." she said with a grin of her own.
"Well now that that's settled lets go find so bugs, specifically the sort with wings." I said cheerfully.
It didn't take long to find so either though we had to go through at least three different species before I found one with the [Multilimbed-Common grade] trait I needed.
From there I moved my target to birds and flying creatures like the dragonflies that flew about above the muck hunting other insects. From these I took the [Aerial expertise-Common grade] trait that when fused with the first trait gave the [Multilimbed(Winged quadruped)-Legendary grade] trait I was after. Thank fucking gods my powers rembered the fusion between the two traits as unlike last ti I did it so the price of the fusion was cheap at only 10,000 units of lifeforce and didn't knock my ass out for three fucking days.-
After that I grabbed Lil's [Beautiful form] trait and casually shunted both these traits along with three thousand lifeforce into one of the Pollygrog eggs.

'Oh so the species nad changed to match what I decided to call it, interesting.' I thought after checking on the egg after the new additions.
I was sorely tempted to fix the trash grade trait that was there but stopped myself since the whole point of the species was to be cheap to produce and expensive to buy for maximum profit. So far this thing had only costed about 30,000 units of lifeforce to produce give or take a few thousand which wasn't too bad as I could get that back by murdering about thirty bandits or so Ratch. That first one was the only one I could do fully at the mont though as besides the trait to give them wings the beautifying trait that I needed was not super easy to find.-
The best source of it was the pond of show fish on Athenas as far as I knew as most species weren't evolved for appearance but survival. I told my friends this and they insisted we go to Athenas as soon as possible to complete the other two eggs. I waved them off however as I wasn't in nearly that much of a rush and still wanted to spend another day at least here on Eden six hunting so Jabbers for their body traits.
