I ignored the unconscious fellow and simply turned on the shower before leaving him to get cleaned up as he shot awake sputtering from the water.
"So how'd it go?" Mordy asked curiously as I sat on a chair and propped up my feet on the table.
"Swimmingly really, you all are in for quite the shock when he finally gets out of the bathroom. On an entirely unrelated note I got an extra [Fla breath] trait for you Brick, as promised." I said with a grin.
"Gim that!" he said eagerly as he practically yanked my ass out of my chair by my hand.
"Chill dude it's not that fucking simple rember? We need to wait for that guy to get out of the bathroom first otherwise you'll make a big ass ss." I said slightly exasperated as I settled back down into my chair.
Brick deflated at this though as he really didn't want to wait but my powers, my rules so too fucking bad. Love the guy really I do but sotis he's like a particularly over zealous dog, unintentionally harmful. While this ti there was no harm that didn't an it would always be the case.-
About fifteen minutes later the forr midget now hulking brute crawls out of the bathroom awkwardly making realize sothing I sort of overlooked. See he was not like who was an adult more or less stuffed into a childs body and thus not that disoriented when my powers made my body the sa size as an adults. No he was an adult fucking midget and that ant he had no damn idea how to use a normal sized persons limbs, much less an oga bodies.-
"You're right, that IS shocking." Lil teased with a laugh.
I groaned in embarrassnt at this blunder and got up before walking over to the guy and hoisting him to his feet by the back of his jacket. His legs shook as he tried to stand but simply couldn't get his footing. -
"Lock your knees straight so I can at least stand you up against a wall." I said firmly and the guy straightened his legs which was sothing he at least knew how to do thankfully. "Good now lets start with your arms since those should work the most similar to how you are used to." I said and got to work reacquainting the guy with his body.
It wasn't particularly hard for his upper body as I simply had him move parts of it in a specific but simple manner until he got used to how his arms and torso felt to move. Next up was his legs that was more troubleso as the length and shape of his musculature was very different than how it was when he was a midget and I needed much more effort to get him used to his legs again. -
Finally though after what felt like hours of embarrassing effort the fucker could at least walk even if shakily.
"All that's left is for you to keep practicing until moving feels normal again." I said as I took my seat again with a sigh.
"Glory to the great God Demon!" he yelled with a deep rumbling voice that made my friends flinch slightly.
I waved off the fanaticism though and told the guy to leave already since he had the power he asked for and rely needed to master it.
"I thought you'd at least give him armor or sothing too." Lil said with a confused expression after the guy walked out of the portal shakily.
"Nah, he's ... an investnt you could say. If my gamble pays off and he starts gathering a following for then I might give him so toys to keep him loyal but for now it can go pear shaped at any mont. A few traits and lifeforce is nothing to as I can always get them back with so ti and effort but tech? That's sothing that's a lot harder to retrieve once lost. Besides this can be considered a test of worthiness for him. If even with my gift he can't succeed then clearly he isn't worth investing further in." I explained without hesitation.
"Why do you even want a following with bandits anyways, aren't they kinda unreliable?" Mordy asked curiously.
"Depends on what you want them to do. If you want to create order and safety then absolutely unreliable, but war or chaos? You couldn't ask for better people for a single simple reason, numbers. There of billions of bandits across the borderlands, human wreckage from the corporate wars. Broken beyond repair but not without their uses. In this case I plan to slowly devour every bandit clan on Pandora into my followers to forcibly seize the planet for myself." I say seriously.
"Why would you ever want this place!?" lil asked incredulously.
"Pandora is special for so reason. Sirens are drawn to it, the Eridians left countless ruins and relics behind here and mysteries I want to understand the why of. I want to know what exactly makes this hunk of wretched rock so gods damned fucking important. To do that in relative peace I need the bandits occupied and most importantly not trying to kill constantly." I explained casually.
"That's a dangerous plan. If you succeed what will happen to the normal people here?" Roland asked seriously.
"Can't say honestly. Maybe nothing, maybe good stuff, maybe bad stuff. Too many things that can go one way or the other to predict the outco before it actually happens." I said with a shrug.
I didn't really care one way or the other frankly so long as I got what I wanted in the end. Even if the bandits were to kill all these people it wouldn't really make much difference since they might have done it even if they weren't part of the following.
"Can you even control the bandits to begin with?" Lil asked and I chuckled.
"Nope. This isn't about control but manipulation. They can continue acting however they have been so long as they don't get in my way." I said casually.
"Seems like a lot of work just to get them to leave you alone." Mordy said doubtful.
"This is actually the best plan for it as the others are more likely to get hunted by everyone in the six galaxies if exposed." I said with a shrug.
"Can't be THAT bad right?" Lil asked skeptically.
"Well the first plan was to engineer a planet wide pathogen designed to kill humans exclusively. Naturally I'd have a cure ready for those that needed it but not exactly an idea that would be accepted once unleashed. The second idea I had was simply to poison the atmosphere killing everything on the planet. Naturally I also thought about glassing the place but scrapped that idea since it would ruin the Eridian ruins too." I said casually like I wasn't talking about unleashing apocalyptical level events.
"Damn it! Why would you even consider sothing like that!?" Roland demanded in horror.
"Did you not hear ? There are BILLIONS of bandits across the borderlands and like fucking ninety percent of Pandora's human population is bandit. Do you have any fucking idea how hard it would be to kill them normally? It would take AGES!" I said annoyed at the question.
"I an he DOES have a point there but that still seems like going too far to ." Mordy said and I nodded in agreent.
"Hence the manipulation, the most gentle of the plans." I said helplessly.
