55: Chapter 5 Mysterious Eastern Beamon_2 55: Chapter 5 Mysterious Eastern Beamon_2 Every one of these human kingdoms was rampant with slave trade.

According to Helen’s knowledge, the sea-faring ships, aside from those importing silk, tea, and porcelain from the distant East, were all slave ships.

To dare berth a ship openly within the territory of Seia Nation, how formidable must the military backing of this human kingdom be!

If they see a beautiful woman of the Fox Tribe, and she is without guards…

Helen didn’t dare to think more, cursing herself for not advancing to War Shaman earlier, for not learning the Life Call “Nebula Chain Lightning” sooner.

“Richard!” Helen grabbed Richard’s arm, her words becoming nearly incomprehensible, “We…

need…

to go!”

At this point, a sailor’s upper body peeked through the ship’s railing, his cold eyes fixed on them.

Richard and Helen were both looking up at him, and once more, they were struck dumb.

This sailor was wearing a linen shirt with an open chest, revealing a hairy chest.

The arm holding onto the railing showed thick, muscular tendons, a clear sign of physical violence.

If it was rely this, Helen wouldn’t be so surprised.

The key point was that the face of this sailor was unmistakably a Bimon Beastman.

The face of this sailor was covered in black and white hair.

Although it was carefully grood, the dark circles of hair around his eyes made his face look even more fearso.

A bear!

Richard’s first impression was just that.

Helen’s hand, holding onto Richard’s, was slightly trembling.

“Is he from the Pier Bear Race?” Richard asked in a low voice.

“No.” Helen covered her mouth quietly, “In Bimon, bears from the Pier race either have white fur on the chest or are covered in white fur.

There are no black and white ones.”

“Hey~~~” The Bimon sailor called out from above the ship in fluent Aegean Common Language, “You two honorable travellers, why are you so careless to hit my ship?”

“Sorry!” Richard responded, “We will leave right away!”

“Wait!” The Bimon sailor’s eyes suddenly lit up.

Helen felt a wave of dizziness ca over her.

She felt the strange Bimon Beastman’s gaze scrutinizing her and Richard.

It was as if two fireworks had exploded, bursting out with hot flas.

The Bimon sailor lightly leaped off the ship with a push, accurately landing on the bamboo raft, doing a roll before standing in front of Richard and Helen.

His body was like an iron tower.

The strong shark warrior from yesterday looked small in comparison.

The stout legs of the sailor were hoofing on the bamboo raft which creaked under his weight.

Just by looking at his figure, one could tell he had the potential for major havoc.

“Where are you guys headed?

If necessary, I can give you a ride.” The Bimon sailor kindly offered, but his amiability only made Helen more afraid.

The little fox shrank behind Richard, only her beautiful, horrified eyes peering out.

“We’re headed to the Northeastern Province of Bimon Kingdom, Witherspoon.” Richard smiled coldly, hoping this fellow would refrain from doing anything foolish.

Guoguo climbed up from his shoulder to his head, grimacing as she watched the Bimon sailor.

“Although it’s not on our way, we can give you a ride.” The Bimon sailor spread his hands, “No need to be so hostile, I’m also Bimon, to so extent, I’m the sa as you.”

“Why have I never seen you before?

I am a Shaman; there can’t be Bimon species unknown to .

Are you a remnant of so extinct Bimon species?” The little fox fearfully asked from behind Richard.

“Shaman?” It was the turn of the mysterious Bimon sailor to be shocked.

He scrutinized the two individuals in front of him once again.

The male, with a strong body, had a notable height difference with him.

But sothing about his eyes caught attention – they held a fearless glow.

As for the female, he couldn’t see anything clearly.

Her petite fra was blocked by the male.

“Strange, isn’t it?

I’m a natural-born Soul Singer,” said Liu, raising an eyebrow slightly.

“I had no idea the two of you were revered shamans, my apologies!” The Bimon sailor was sowhat unnerved by Liu’s gaze, feeling as if the man in front of him, who resembled a pig’s head, was sizing him up with the eyes of a butcher looking at a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

His eyes were full of bloody tales that the Bimon sailor could sense, but they were deliberately concealed and only perceptible if paid careful attention to.

“Why would you say that?” The little fox, sensing no hostility, slowly began to relax and stepped out from behind Liu.

Initially skeptical, the Bimon sailor beca more convinced when he saw the little fox dressed in a fiery red ceremonial robe.

Although it was slightly worn out, the complex symbols and the War God emblem on it could not be faked.

“Please forgive my rudeness,” the Bimon sailor respectfully replied, “Although I co from the distant Eastern Continent, serving a shaman is an honor that every Bimon would appreciate.”

“The East?

The Silk Continent?

I’ve heard it has sights more beautiful than paradise and lands more bountiful than the legendary Diamond Valley!” Helen couldn’t hide her excitent and blurted out a bunch of questions.

“Indeed, beautiful fox lady.” The Eastern Bimon bowed his head, sowhat dazzled by Helen’s beauty.

“You’re quite a gentleman,” Liu asserted, sensing no malice from the Eastern Bimon, and settled his hostility, buttering up the sailor with his words.

“It’s nothing.” The Eastern Bimon humbly replied.

Several black and white heads popped up from the ship’s gunwale, pointing excitedly at the bamboo raft.

“Honored shamans, please co aboard.

This bamboo raft is hardly fitting for a journey across the vast ocean, especially for a beautiful fox lady like you,” suggested the Eastern Bimon.

“Thank you!” Helen curtsied in response.

“Obedience is the best form of respect!” Liu restated his intentions, placing one hand to his chest and nodding to the n.

The sailors on the ship quickly lowered a rope ladder, erupting in joyful cheers.

“What’s going on?” Liu asked in bafflent, watching the ecstatic Eastern Bimon who was waving at the ship.

Did their excitent really stem from shamans boarding their ship?

Liu picked up his large turtle shell, stuffed the Night Pearl and his belongings into it, held the shell on his head, and climbed up the rope ladder with the little fox to board the ship.

The Eastern Bimon used coarse twine to bind the bamboo raft and climbed up the ship, hauling the raft onto the deck quickly.

A crowd of Eastern Bimons on the deck sward around to disassemble the bamboo raft as if it was their favorite ga, leaving Liu and the little fox to their own devices.

“Apologies!” The Eastern Bimon who had interacted with them earlier squeezed his way out of the crowd, holding a piece of Buddha belly bamboo, which he swiftly split into two without exerting much effort.

“According to Aegean customs, my na is Gude Johnson, but you can call Gude.

I’m the chief sailor and protector of this ship, the ‘Penglai’.” Gude, the unfamiliar Bimon, extended his left hand.

His words were a bit muffled because he was chewing on bamboo with his other hand.

The hard bamboo sounded like sweet sugarcane being gnawed on, and he soon swallowed it without hesitation.

Behind him, a group of alike Eastern Bimons nodded and bowed, themselves enjoying the bamboo as well.

Both Liu and Helen were dumbstruck.
